I love how you completely emphasized on the delusional mindsets of altcoins investor without leaving anything unmentioned. It is sad how some persons can spend more than four years gambling on a memecoin, they stake the token for a specific locked up period meanwhile the private investors that the project owners knew, are not locking their own token so that  they can dump the price on the dumb public investors after they all have lock their token. After wasting so much unprofitable years with many altcoins, the end result is regrets, meanwhile they would have reaped a better result on Bitcoin if they had held BTC for that same number of years that has been wasted on altcoins. A favourable situation for some altcoiners is having Bitcoin as the priority or lead coin in their portfolio and maybe use altcoins (a few) to chase short term profit. It's better off, than wasting many years dinning with shitcoins that doesn't produce any result at the end.

I'm afraid that the thought about finding the next bitcoin and gem keeping their minds on the hunt. They can't move on with that and they're having hard time accepting that Bitcoin is the best option in the crypto market whether they like it or not. All of the buzz words, web3, Dapps, NFTs, etc. They're all going to drop eventually and we've seen it from all the trends and hypes that have been built every time and for every cycle, bitcoin remains on top of them. And ask the most successful businessmen and investors in the other investing sectors, they'd say that the boring investments and businesses are the most profitable ones. Yeah, bitcoin is boring but profitable. I'll choose this boring asset.

I have long waited for someone who will be bold to address these founders aka self acclaimed crypo evangelists that are jumping from one project to the other for the sole purpose of enriching themselves. I love your choice of words which you captured all that is going on. They have used different fancy words to deceive people. Now web 3 is the fancy words they are using to create thousands of worthless tokens which they lure people to buy and people are going there in droves.

What annoys me is when some of them try to see fault in Bitcoin and claim to be solving the problem of the later only to end up with a new shitcoin they call fork.

Lol, good post. Although I believe it comes a little bit late perhaps. Altcoins are losing share since the pandemic years when they were at an dominance ATH (with the exception of the 2017 BCH -- mostly due to manipulation -- and ETH bubbles). Altcoin seasons are weaker every cycle. And Bitcoin Dominance is growing again and was at a 4-year high in July.

But nevertheless excellent to remind the fans of centralized altcoins that they're probably betting on the wrong horse. Perhaps propagating it helps to give at least the typical "centralized altcoin scam" a definitive death blow.

Of course I would exclude decentralized coins like XMR from the "accusations" made in the OP, even if some decentralized altcoins share some of the problems (small community, "can't handle exits", etc.).

Of course they claim all these because bitcoin is the ultimate standard. People think of bitcoin when they think of the best coin in the market. If you make such claims that your project is at the level of bitcoin, it will attract attention but of course they never prove to be true anyway.

Because there's a secret no one tells to bagholders: everyone needs a unit of account to store their wealth. Even if some people make money on altcoins, they will sooner or later have to keep that money somewhere for the long-term. Since these altcoins are complete garbage in terms of hard money properties, then in the long-term, it's natural for the altcoin buyers to start getting rid of them for bitcoin.

I think some of the founders of altcoins are wicked because it is only someone that is wicked that will create garbage and market it to people to buy. They know that whey they created have no real utility yet they lie about every bit of it to convince people to buy. In doing this, some subtly attack bitcoin to poison the mind of their victims into thinking that bitcoin is expensive and will therefore not give much profits. I also call them wicked because some of them use the money realized from ICO, TGE or whatever they call it, to buy bitcoin leaving their investors with the garbage they created. I will not forget t mention those of them that first dump the shitcoin they created on their investors and disappear. People should just be smart to know that bitcoin is the way to guarantee freedom and wealth.

It's a valid and very real criticism: many projects promise to be the new Bitcoin or revolutionize the market, claiming to be disruptive, but ultimately delivering nothing. Although I still believe in cryptocurrencies as old as Bitcoin, which remain active to some extent, it's certainly worth being cautious when choosing where to invest your money.
