First you can not be best in gambling no matter how much you try maybe you can be a good football or game analyst but you can never be  a best because gambling is a game of luck and chance and being a good analyst or forecaster will only mske you to be close to winning most times which some refer to as near miss and so until you are on the lucky side your near miss can not turn to winning and there is no two ways about it, so don't think someone can be best in gambling because I doubt that.

If there are things you can learn from me that will make you the best in gambling, it should normally be things I'm doing that has maybe made me the best in gambling but because there's none I can think of, then I doubt there's anything like the best in gambling.

By being the best in gambling, I believe you are talking about professional gambling because it is people who call themselves professional gamblers that should be able to gamble with great knowledge/ skills and still top it up with strict discipline. Any gambler who can infuse all of these into his gambling life has nothing to worry about.

But I still doubt if these set of gamblers don't act out of control sometimes. No matter how smart a gambler may be, they will still lose in-between. Greedy behaviors may occur too which isn't healthy.

For a gambler to improve his gambling skills and ability to be the best, then he should have an area of focus. He should have a game he is good at and concentrate on that area alone instead of jumping on any game available just because he wants to get money there.

The first step to take if you want to gambling within the law is to study the terms of service of the casino. It is the basic law that guides the operations of any casino. What are you referring to when you say being the best? I don't know if you mean being profitable or being disciplined. If you mean being disciplined, then it is important to be the best by studying the gambling laws and rules. Even being the best allows you to control your losses and survive within yourself. If you rely on luck and ignore discipline, then it can be very difficult for you to survive in gambling. The reason is, you don't know the rules of gambling and you don't know when to stop or how to stop. OP are you not aware that the game is for the house? As far as I know there is no gambler that would boldly call himself a best gambler because your losses is higher than your winnings. There are skill based games like poker, blackjack, dice e.t.c, you don't have to treat them as such, playing them already is skill-based gambling.

For me the only way to get close to "the best" is to gamble responsibly, know when to stop and gamble within your means, that's all, because no gambler has perfect predictions the odds will always be the same: 50/50 even if your team has a 99% chance of winning, that 1% chance can make them lose.

New to gambling and then become the best? That two words can't be in one sentence. To be good in sports betting then you really have to follow that sports for many years and obviously you need to have that kind of experience.

And even though in skill base games like poker and again, sports betting, there is also this element of luck to be honest. Maybe 90% skills and then 10% luck. There's no such thing as gambling without some kind of luck involved.

In gambling you can only become the best in what you know most.. for instance you are good in casino games maybe probably that is the game you often play like blackjack, card game or slot you can become the best if you are already good in that area. I don't know in what context you say this, but I assume you're referring to sports betting, poker, or something like that, since other casino games depend 100% on luck and there's no way to become the best at it, nor is there a magical way to prepare yourself to be lucky. And well, if you're referring to card games, I assume that if you try hard enough you could become a pro, but is it worth trying to do something like that just to win at betting?
Also, if you're referring to the sports world, knowing too much about the sport doesn't give you too much of an advantage to be number 1 at it. If with artificial intelligence or algorithms that try to predict the results, there's still nothing 100% guaranteed.
