We shouldn’t be too quick to judge people who gamble huge amounts of money we’re not in their shoes. Some players might be high rollers because they can actually afford it, or it’s just part of their lifestyle or business risk appetite.

The true meaning of responsible gambling is pretty simple, only bet what you’re willing to lose. whether that’s $5 or $5,000, as long as losing it won’t mess up your life or finances, then it’s still within your limits. So instead of questioning how much someone spends when they gamble, maybe it’s better to remind people to stay in control, play within their means, and know when to walk away.

First thing first,it’s in nobody’s jurisdiction to judge.Secondly,those set of individuals that are judging would likely do same if they were in the position of those high rollers.The only thing that’s encouraged by all gamblers is remain responsible with their gambling habits,not being too attached to gambling or thinking it’s an alternative to become successful with going through too much struggles.Not all fingers are equal right?likewise in gambling industry we have players that stake huge amounts money(high rollers) and also the ones that stake small amounts of money(low rollers).

The only source of earning money is hard work, work hard, only then can you achieve good success. When a gambler gets to that point where they sell their properties to get money to gamble then it has become a chronic addiction problem. Gambling isn't really supposed to be something that should cause such level of havoc but the problem with a lot of gamblers are affected by their own greed and need to win big.

On the contrary, it is those who compulsively gamble small amounts, which over time add up to enormous sums who need help. The change is happening to my friend, who as far as I know usually deposits money to gamble with a small amount including the amount of bets that are usually done small too, but yesterday I visited him and when he gambled I was surprised because now he deposits much more money even close to millions. Are you talking about wealthy people who can afford it? Or about poor people who believe they’ll get lucky, place big bets, but steal that money from their families, steal from their own future, and steal from their children’s future?

It’s hard for me to imagine a gambler for whom a $5 million bet could be considered small. I think that even if people like Bill Gates or Elon Musk were placing a $5 million bet, it would still be a huge stake, even for them. Many people have the fake perspective of assuming all gamblers around them in the same casino or bookie have the same gambling budget of them, so when they seem someone gambling significantly much more than them, then they assume those are people who are addicted to gambling or are gming recklessly.

Being judgmental about what you don't understand is ignorance, if you see or hear about a gambler that uses your 1 year income to gamble on the spot you might think that the person is crazy but you don't know if the amount is what he makes within 1 hour and can afford to lose it. It's like when we see celebrities that buys a wristwatch with an amount that is outrageous to you but before judging that celebrity of being wasteful you need to first research how much they make on a weekly bases. Gambling above one's capacity is another way of welcoming destruction, when it comes to gambling, courtesy demand that a gambler should gamble with what they can afford to lose. And even if an individual gamble beyond his or her limit, we have no right to be judgemental. Nobody has the right to judge anyone concerning gambling even if the person is a high roller, we should understand that gamblers gamble with the amount they can afford to loose so the amount that one uses to gamble doesn't matter so long the person won't be depressed that he has lost a huge amount of money at the end of the day, gambling is a personal decision and no one should interfere or judge other with their stakes and amount they use.

Some people simply are not able to stop. It is not even about the size of the bet or whether they are wagering large or small amounts. A person can start with small bets but place far too many of them, and over time the total losses become significant. Why judge anyone because of what they gamble with?

Ideally, people might think that high stake gamblers are used to wasting their money risking too much.but they aren't. They are fine losing such big amount.

You can't compare yourself who is a small gambler to someone who can lose $1m on a single game and still deposit the next, can you? It's all pointing back to what we are used to. Like you said, risk what you can afford to lose. They can lose it so they risk it.

Instead of focusing of other, take the time to work on yourself.
