Qastle - first quantum secured hot wallet.

Quantum eMotion, in partnership with Krown Technologies  made the official announcement  regarding the release of the world's first quantum-secured hot wallet ^{namely Qastle} with its official launch scheduled for November 1st.

I would like to highlight two claims they made:

1) "Qastle is universally available on iPhone, Android, tablets, browser extensions, laptops, desktops, and virtually every platform where digital assets are stored and transacted."

2) "Qastle represents the first time that post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum random number generation (QRNG) are combined in a hot wallet built for the mainstream."

Based on these statements, I assume that this wallet will rely on eFlux-Q service, operated by Quantum eMotion, to deliver entropy generated by their cutting-edge QRNG to Qastle.

Wasn't blockchain.com's wallet and most other web wallets secured by a quantum resistant encryption algorithm (AES?).

It'd be good if there is a fully quantum proof crypto wallet but Shor's algorithm still exists. Unless this wallet bans address reuse, it's a false sense of security (maybe actively discouraging address reuse is effective too - ie tell users when they've sent funds to an address they've already used and ask if they want to forward it to one they haven't).

What we need is a bitcoin improvement proposal that will tackle vulnerable bitcoins that their public keys are exposed.

If you do not reuse bitcoin address after sending coins from it, your bitcoin will not be affected with quantum computers. This wallet with premium subscription is useless for me.

What do I have a bad feeling about this particular wallet? I don't seem to find any obvious technical related flaw yet but based on the structure of this wallet I don't think it's really safe. Firstly quantum attacks aren't really a big thing yet so peacefully using your open source wallets like Electrum bus still very much safe. Secondly how do they plan to charge those that probably don't pay after the first month?
Are they offering a cloud storage for keys and seed? If yes then it's basically a bigger NO. I'll fancy them better if quantum attacks become a major issue generally. Anyways thumbs up for the info.

Quantum attacks will likely be a cascade and won't be that noticeable until funds are gone from people (unless they're only owned by ethical companies with ethical people in charge).

Web wallets used to be the most vulnerable to attacks and I don't think that's changed. The uneasy feeling might because it seems gimmicky or because it's new.

Maybe they'll do like trustedcoin and take payment in advance or pay themselves if you ever try to spend funds. I imagine once you've paid the first $8, that's probably a good contribution to their hosting fees.

It's bold claim. I would be surprised if their wallet app also support device that use RISC-V.

I don't see the urgency of using QRNG when current hacker doesn't seem able to crack CSPRNG.

True protection against quantum computer/QC isn't possible unless the coin already use QC-resistant cryptography.

The breakthrough here is Quantum eMotion's cutting-edge QRNG chip, which generates true quantum randomness using the electron tunneling effect, rather than the wallet itself.
