We’re supposed to look for value and value isn’t present in all the games offered. Bookies don’t mind showing every line because they’ll profit either way, so we should not think like them.

Self-control is really important. And skipping the bet is a big part of it. Sometimes it is really difficult to accept that all you research, all analyze was just a waste of time, because odds are too small. But it is what we have to learn to get profit.

What if we just say that we agree with them that it's pure luck and there's no skill involved? are these arguments and debates going to be stopped about sports betting doesn't require skills for us to win and it's only pure luck? I guess that will silent them so that people who agrees with their thoughts will also be have that peace and no need for any justification just to agree with those folks.

There are systems that can put you in profit in the long run but this doesnt mean constant profit, this is where a lot of bettors get it wrong. With a good strategy and risk management you can minimise your losses and be in profit. If you bet for 30 days which is a month you would definitely incur some losses but if you have a good strategy you can be in profit at the end of the month, this isn't just a random chance it can happen

That system that can put someone in constant profit is what is known as luck though sometimes your skill or strategy may help you go on the possible or right option but  sometimes people think it is just their skill and strategy that is making them to win money consistently, strategy is important like i said but it is not responsible or is not the reason for our winning let say about 60-80 percent of the time we win is based on luck. Well everyone can chose to believe whatever they want because I chose to believe on luck because i have seen and experienced it several times.

I'm a regular bettor, I do it on average 3 times a week on a limited budget, if you want to talk about skill the only thing I feel like saying is that knowing the teams, the players, the coach and the clubs that manage the teams has a negligible impact on a specific match, you can get closer to the result, sometimes you even guess it and other times you don't remotely guess the result.
Personally, I play instinctively, I follow football but not obsessively, I like lively matches, full of actions.
Trust your instincts and don't trust the odds numbers or what people tell you, it's clear that you have a little knowledge to have, otherwise there's no point in playing them.

Random chances does takes the center stage but in other to increase your chances of been amongst one if those lucky random ones, you just have to make sure to be a bit skillful, at least it is important you know what you are doing, if you have no idea about  the team, how then will you be able  to think about  the possibilities around the chances of certain events happening within a team you have picked for your selection and made your best pick? At this point you need some touch of skill, adding skills to all that you already know keeps you much ahead and increase your chances than when you just hoping for some random luck alone.

There is a set of things that I've been regularly doing before placing my bets with the hope of reducing my losses and for the most part, it has been profitable, but I still need luck to be on my side.

Probabilities and statistics can give results, I have not tried it but I prefer to believe in my wisdom and the knowledge that I have acquired throughout my life since I was a child, this does help and follow all the details of the sport and the players (in my case it is soccer) if I am updated on everything it is easier for me to make a winning prediction, but sometimes it is lost, there are variables that cannot be controlled.
