The news that i listen to this morning make me to create this particular thread because i really want us to deliberately discuss and able to know the solution why some many youths of this generation are full of desperation of making money and leaving a life that it will took some procedures for someone to be come rich and this particular man uses his one of his sister eyes for money and the truth of the news the man was arrested by the police but some of the youths of this generation has chosen short cut as means of making money, it is very painful as i had and see how youths that fail to be patient with his/ her future to bend down go through during normal processes by going through school and if you can't afford school at least engage yourself in skills or work for someone that you can better our life one day than committing crimes  in the society that can jail you for life.

It is saddening that most of the youths we have these days are too desperate to make money and they are no longer interested to learn skills or starting up small in anything they do. They want to make it in life quickly if it means risking their life for it. They don't care about it, so far they will have a luxurious life, have material possessions, and be respected. Every other thing makes no sense to them if it is about starting small or learn a skill.

Well, I can't say if this unfortunate situation we find about the youths will someday stop because of the level of peer pressure we see between them, their desire for independence, and social media influences that they do see of people showing off their wealth, which can fuel their desire to long for a financial breakthrough in a hurry(to make in life like others)

The issue of starting small is what a larger number do not want to hear about they will began to compare  another man's one thousands steps to their own one step and that kind of mindset is very wrong as it corrupt the mind instead of seeing others success as a motivation they will see it as a competition, Rome was not built in a day and nothing good comes so easy, it takes discipline not to fall for any kind of pressure either from peers or the social media, working hard to be successful in life does not mean that you must do illegal.

Inpatient has become a norm to the youth of nowadays, crime has become the new way of life, abandoning the good old days of hardwok and perseverance to succeed. Surely I am not surprised at the current happening because the bible already made it clear that things like his wil happen in the last days. I have seen and heard how many youth have go into pushing of hard drugs to succeed, not only that but they also indulge in cyber crim like hacking, ritual killing and many other illigal activity. The youth are ready to do anything funny to succeed all because they want to be recorgnised and be famous. But I believe thatkst of this illicit attitude is rising as a result of lack of employment opportunities for the youth. Bad government has killed the dreams of the youth. Many youth had a good plans and intention for the economy but lacks opportunity to showcase their talent. The promise they once made to their parent to make them proud has become wishes and this makes them to do anything possible to make their parents proud of them and to leave a better Life and this lead them to do many silly things to succeed.

The news is not far from what i have stated so far, meanwhile i have hit nail at hand by making the whole story of the news short for more comprehensive for others members that has not come across the thread, something i still wonder why some of the youths today doesn't have the patience of waiting to start from small and this desperation to meet up quickly in life has really send many youths to their early grave, and the painful part must of the female loves flasher things or material things that they do take risks without knowing where they with a man because he is appearing to be rich or have money spend, i will advise mostly the female they should be careful of who they go out with just is he is rich with knowing the man background and the female should always follow the those people they very well not matter their poor status, believe me man status from poor to rich on a daily basis once the man has ambitious in life.

Yeah at least so that we could understand the full picture because only going by his statement, I would want to no how the person manages to plug the eyes of someone and sold it without the person noticing that one her eye is gone or could it be the case of someone whom was injected with some paralistic  substance so that they wouldn't feel anything pain while those things are happening to her?. This is the main reason why parents should bring up their children in a God fearing way so that will not involve themselves in activities like committing rituals for the sake of money. When you consider that we are leaving in a society that gives preference to those that are financially stable and ignores those that are struggling financially, it makes you understand why youths are becoming desperate to get money by all means because most of them believe that when they get the money, they can be heard and given recognition in the society.

Sorry, but I don't understand what news are you talking about. It would help greatly of you shared the source of the news you read and pushed you to open this thread in the first place. As far as I can understand you, you are talking about a guy who decides to literally sell an eye of his sister in order to many money.

Obviously, there are people out there who are simply psychopathic and always searching for ways to make money with the minimal effort possible, even if that means engaging in crime.

Here in my country I have seen cases of people committing murder because of debts of fifty dollars, that is how deranged some people are when comes to money.

Most of these young people that are desperate to make money by all means are those that only copied the lifestyles of their favourite influencers and other celebrities on social medias. They want to have that same lifestyles but they don't want to put in the work that those celebrities did to get to that status in life. People watching the expensive lifestyles that the children of corrupt politicians who stole our money lives on daily basis, they want the same lifestyle too that's why crime is on the rise.

Most of these things are happening because of social media that has made the world a global community. Young people seeing the life that some of their mates are living in different places has becomes desperate to have their own and live same soft life. I agree with you, some youths just want to be okay, they want to leave celebrity lifestyle without putting in alot of work. Most of them regret when they caught in the act of crime, let's not only it put it on youths both the teenage they are all desperate to make money they don't care about what will happen to them next, most this behaviors are most time caused by friends and by imitating what others are doing without knowing their source of income, learning a skill to them it's like a delay and a waste of time while they needed quickly, we can start small and become big tomorrow but most youths of these days don't believe on that slow movement they want to get at the top by all means, this is why they are dying premature i just wish others will learn too from what is happening to others.

There are many kinds of news out there where young people kill themselves or their relatives because of money selling body parts to make or use for rituals just to get rich and it is very common in African countries. The reason why most young people are desperate to make money is that they want to compete in their societies; they want to be part of the rich young generation in their communities.

However, if I were to say the main cause of all this, it would be the lack of job opportunities. There are a lot of graduates out there, but there are no jobs available. Because of that, many young people are no longer motivated to go to school. Even those who went to school and graduated often end up doing jobs that are not worth their level of education.

The point is that nobody loves doing something against the law, but bad situations push many of them into it. If the government wants a solution to what young people are turning into, government should create more job opportunities it will seriously reduce these problems.

Questions like this may seem to have different answers, but one major reason center on how the society or nation handle those things that makes the youth intend to be in a hurry. Where there is not regid sanctions to any crime and the the people who committed murder which is meant to be a capital punishment of a nation or society work out free, it then implies that anything can take place without punishment. For instance I saw one video where a lady body was been harvested by some youths for money as been arrested by police, this is meant to be a capital punishment but situation where they man over the punishment and release them it gives room for others to commit such crime all in the name of making fast wealth.

Do you mean about the other ways of earning like OF and aside from that, the illegal things that they might get involved with? They're in a hurry because they've got eyes to impress and not their lives to live on. That's how they perceive life now and they're living in illusions through impressing other people. I'm sure you have a friend that the age same like you, but they're more luckier because having rich parent who can give many thing to their child. If you not envy with what your friend have, it's either you're rich or you don't have a big dream.

Many people dream of living like a king, hence they want to live comfortable and have expensive stuffs.

Even though the youths did wrong, but I don't really blame them since the standard of successful life is living like a king instead of education or social achievement.
