Something similar happens with people who believe that AI will make them money through sports betting.

That said, AI is fine as a support tool, but blindly trusting that it will make you money is a bit naive.

These results are logical because if you use a tool for tasks for which it was not designed the results are going to be chaotic. AI is great for many things, but not for predicting the future in such way. "Past performance is not indicative of future results" we have read it countless times, and AI feeds precisely on past data, so draw conclusions.

Interesting, but as far as I can see, this is a test of AI models that were allegedly given $10k to trade with them, and as some do much better than others, can we conclude that someone is trying to promote specific AI models as better than others? Let's say that two models stand out in particular because they almost managed to double the money entrusted to them, and this will arouse the interest of many.

It will be interesting to see the results after the first part of this experiment is completed.

I believe that the longer the time frame, the more difficult it will be for one to be the winner. I base this on what is already happening in the stock market. Actively managed funds on the stock market do not usually beat the benchmark index, the most widely used being the S&P 500. But you find more funds that beat the index when you make the time frame smaller. These management funds have been using AI for some time now, and the situation remains the same.

In this case, if the experiment lasted 10 years, I would not be surprised to see those who are now at the top start to suffer losses and vice versa, fluctuating as time goes by. But, yes, it could be that during the experiment, one achieves significantly better results than the others and starts to be marketed as the AI that will make you rich through trading.
