If you can't trust your skill, then you don't need to have it in the first place. We can trust our skill, but we should not be overconfident that that skill of ours can beat that of the house edge; that will be misleading. Absolutely,  intelligence is really the key in gambling.  Gambling more means increase in risk and also increase.To bet more doesn't mean you will win more, their are other things too that are more.
