I understand the idea of low risk gambling which is just entirely for fun but 1% seems too low, it can be a small amount that is worth considering losing because as I mentioned in the other thread if you are betting an amount that is too low then you won't even feel excited when you win the bet so it is better not to gamble at all and save that 1% which can be utilized into something else where there is guaranteed return or something like that.

That's why I bet mostly on sports, since that's where I bet. I enjoy the games, and it's not something I have to be glued to the screen for long periods of time. This allows my spirits to cool down and I don't feel the anxiety or pressure of constantly betting on one game after another, which is the main risk for gamblers. Sometimes I only focus on one game that interests me and enjoy that one, and then I watch the results of the others. If you're hanging on the other results, it can ruin the experience of what you're watching.
I think that's a good strategy to save money on betting.

Dude,,, I see that here it is even stricter than mine, because I personally thought that gambling below 5% is the lowest risk zone, in this case, if someone gambles with a separate budget below 5% of their monthly income, I thought that they should not have any financial problems. Now I see that such websites or platforms are teaching me even stricter language. But my point is, how can someone who earns $10,000 a month gamble for the entire month with just $8?

In terms of having low-risk management, you need to have good discipline in terms of betting percentage and within your capital. I also appreciate what you mentioned about having limited games for a specific time range.
For me discipline is everything. Setting your limits for both your wins and your losses and immediately quitting the game when you achieve your target or otherwise is the best strategy you can use when gambling because gambling is not meant to be played with emotions but with real strategies. So it is good to even start with what you can afford to lose in terms of the money and stop chasing losses or trying to win it back when you lost it already. If a game is not won by you, let it slide and prepare yourself against the next challenge instead of dwelling on it and I think my last advise to low risk gamblers or some of us who are wishing to be one is to learn how to be focused on fewer games instead of betting on everything cos I have this believe that the more selective you try to be in gambling, the less you expose yourself to unnecessary risks.

IMHO, there is no problem if you're going to play a lot of games as long as it's still in your allotted budget that won't be a problem. I think it differs per gamble on how we're going to gamble and how we look at it in each time we gamble. If you're spending a lot of time in gambling because you'll have to play several games, that's your problem on how you should allot not only with money but also with time as you gamble.

It's best not to gamble if you truly want to avoid gambling problems. The average gambler is completely inconsistent with their own rules, that's a fact. You may say you only spend 1% of your monthly income on gambling, but you will only break this rule when you start thinking that you might win big if you bet more on games that give you good odds. It's certainly nice to have limits on gambling, but I'm sure the average gambler won't be as strict as they make them as rules.

Its a reasonable table, with more or less these values anyone could take inspiration, thanks for share. If you see gambling like any other kind of hobby you know that spending much money could not be really profitable. I have Always a kind of "feeling" for gambling on chain as the best and funny way to gambler ( like directbet made in early 2015-2016).

Good advice and it will be helpful for those who needs it. But this is not for me because how do I gamble only four days in a month, I am not fighting gambling addiction and I gamble responsibly so it is not for me. The advice will be for people who don’t see gambling as fun because they are the ones that think it is a business and that they must earn from in and start to calculate their profits and loss. Gambling is fun for me, I gamble responsibly, I don’t gambling with money I shouldn’t be using and I don’t know the percentage of money I use but it is less than what I can give out freely to someone.

1% of my income is way too much for me to gamble with, I would prefer going with 0.5% of my income. I know some people might say that this amount is way too small to go with, of course is individuals choice to decide the amount that is suitable for them to go with. for me I would prefer staking with 0.5% of my monthly income per bet as this is the amount which i know I can easily do away with.
This method is the reason why I'm able to keep to my gambling rules till this time, so I feel that going with this method would prevent people from getting addicted to gamble if they can adopt it.

As a gambler earning low, it's reasonable to know how to manage your funds. It's not even someone that will advise you on it. With the exception of gambling just once in a week, it's important to stick to the 1% because there are some gamblers that might gamble just once in a week but might go bankrupt at once because of their level of gambling. It's important to set your limit for both time and money and be self-disciplined about it. Know when to quit both while winning and losing your game. It's also bad to gamble with emotion. As a gambler, there's a way you gamble even above the 1%; you will still gamble responsibly, without getting addicted. It's okay as a human to accept loss as much as you accept winning.

Being a low risk gambler From the link, gamblers who are finding it difficult with the way they lose money can learn from this three steps. Gamble no more than 1% of household income: It is greed that cause some huge loses that gamblers encounter, either they are going to chase what they have lost and they increase how much to gamble with or they are naturally a high risk taker. The best way to have a reasonable gambling experience is to use small amount at least 1% of monthly income. The table below also show an example how that can be calculated with the monthly salary. Gamble no more than 4 days per month: I don't know how easy this will be for many gamblers because even around me, gamblers don't just gamble 4 times in a month. Gambling 4 times means 1 per week and I think that is reasonable. It will be easier for those who don't have Android phones or those who are really busy with office work and barely have time, just on weekends. But this is reasonable and will help to reduce addiction if we have the emotional control. My suggestion is, to gamble four times in a month, you have to focus on few games or sports, maybe just focus of football and particularly with few leagues. Avoid regularly gambling at more than 2 types of games: Yes like I suggested above, if you are playing on many games you will have that push to always gamble but the fewer the games the lesser times you gamble. So how do you play as a low risk gambler? Or you just can't adjust with the numbers of times you gamble? This doesn't take into account the variations in everyones budget but is a good starting point if you have no other information to go off. Just think - someone might live at home with their parents and find pretty much their whole salary is available to spend on whatever they want, while it might be advisable to save/move out, in theory there's nothing stopping them spending 25% or even 50% on whatever fun activities they like. Other people might be stretched to the brink with 70%+ of their income going out to rent or the mortgage, that will have very little wiggle room to spend anything on betting. It's better just to think independently on what suits your current circumstances.

Everyone's risk tolerance is different - but I'm not sure someone who earns $10K per month would only spend 1% on gambling [if he were a gambler]. I know that this is a good idea so that gamblers don't lose a lot of money due to losing - but I'm not sure you can gamble consistently by only spending 1% of your monthly income.
Some gamblers limit their gambling spending to 5% to 10% of their monthly income - that's fine for them, but it might not be for others. Each person can set their own limits - it depends on what percentage of their monthly income, but the point is that they should gamble responsibly.

Gambling low risk can also mean gambling with a high odds of winning. I know some people (like me) enjoy playing low stakes Plinko, where you win a lot more than you lose, but you don’t win much. Plus, it inflates your gambling numbers and makes you look like a high roller without having to risk very much.

But my point is, how can someone who earns $10,000 a month gamble for the entire month with just $8? You misunderstood it, that's a yearly income base on the table. And if someone earns $10k a month($120k per year), it says that he can gamble $100 per month. That 1% per month to gamble with is more than enough if the annual income is a lot. But for the lesser ones, they need to budget it wisely and follow that so that they won't go more than the threshold they set.

If fun is what you’re really seeking from gambling then how much you win shouldn’t really excite or influence you that much right? Except of course you’re actually in for the profit. As a matter of fact, as long as you’re in for the fun, the outcome of the game shouldn’t matter that much, let alone how much you lose or win. As long as you’ve got a budget and whatever percentage you choose to use to gamble. If 1% is what you can afford to lose then I see no reason why you can’t use it. Imagine using more than that, and then you lose it and start feeling emotional about it.

I wonder, how many people would read such stuff and actually follow these advices. I don't believe anyone does that, and even if they did, it would be only a few. People says a lot of things, makes up plans strategy rules to prevent loses, but it reality when someone starts gambling, emotions kicks in and all these well thought out plans falls apart. Those with the strongest dedicated willpower can only keep up with their words. So do you believe you can limit youself and be a low risk gambler? It's pretty hard imo.

I also agree; it seems too little, no matter how you look at it. Even if you're in the U.S., where the average salary is significantly higher than in the EU. If I'm honest, that's how I approximately set my budget when starting out, I didn't want to spend too much money on such an activity. I wanted to set clear boundaries so I wouldn't end up blowing away a fortune. Ultimately, I didn't stick to this plan, because the allocated amount would be tiny, while I gambled one to three days per week at maximum. I've resorted to sports betting, mostly on the weekends; 1% of my salary would barely cover a single betting day, and that only if I made minor bets.

So how do you play as a low risk gambler?
I usually bet more often on weekends with a budget limit that I have set based on my weekly income. The amount is certainly not large, but I can make a few bets. On weekdays, I am quite busy with work, which makes me tired. So I do not want to use my break time to make bets, even though it is very simple. I usually bet regularly during major events like the World Cup. Some matches attract attention and are too good to miss. For me, it's a low-risk bet of $5 a week to bet on Sportsbook. So the weekly income will not decrease much betting on fixed sports on weekends. I used to play slots with a $5 bankroll that would not be felt then now it has stopped maybe only occasionally when winning big bets from sports betting. While betting at the Sportsbook looking for high odds although high risk but I always have a chance of winning so no longer take from the weekly pocket if the bet wins.

So how do you play as a low risk gambler?
Or you just can't adjust with the numbers of times you gamble?
I gamble occasionally, i gamble in every possible minimum amount bet on games so that i stay more longer enjoying it, although i increase the bet later on if think so. That's why most of the time a $40 deposit takes days before it vanish it's going to lose or takes days as well before i can get positive income out of it. Thus everytime i gamble have small risk of me getting addicted and small risk of getting lose eventually.

Avoid regularly gambling at more than 2 types of games: Yes like I suggested above, if you are playing on many games you will have that push to always gamble but the fewer the games the lesser times you gamble.
I limited my gambling to just predicting the premier league games and some games in the champions league when they're playing and this reduced my gambling activities significantly. When you're participating in gambling always, it'll only lead to addiction. You can only control what it does to you when you're participating in it with fewer games. Anyone betting on multiple games and sport won't have control over their gambling activities. It doesn't matter how self preserved you think you're, you'll always get overshadowed by your desire to win and become an addict without knowing. To become a low risk gambler, you have to reduce your involvement with the games and only then can you take back full control.
