Because you're "low risk", then you probably don't like losing the money that you have actually earned, no? Don't waste the limited money you have.

Exactly what I’m thinking. Why someone that doesn’t want risk still gamble. It’s not mandatory to gamble since it’s just for entertainment so it’s better to completely avoid rather than making things complicated such as setting this limit just because you don’t want risk.

I have no disagreement on setting the amount that you will gamble but forcing yourself to follow the low budget just because you want low risk is a bit not suitable for gambling at all.

I believe to just play whatever you can afford to lose that will give you an entertainment.

I guess you can describe it as been conflicted, gambling is absolutely unnecessary when you risk just one percent of what you earn. The risks we take are precisely low, and yes, even before that, if we gamble, we should only use amounts we can afford and not force ourselves to bet large amounts beyond our means. Losing a small amount would not hurt that much compared to betting huge. Yes there's an excitement when you bet huge but it's also depressing if the result is not what you expected it to be. That's why even it seems boring for some since there's no excitement, it's a way to prevent yourself from losing what you can't live without. Hence it's not bad if you can do something to minimize the possible losses.

Yeah, $30 is not that bad  and there is every possibility that some gamblers may not be able to spend the whole money before month end. Let's assume that a gambler is going with $1 every weekend  they may likely spend only $4 even though a gambler is going with $4 he can as well have more money left in his or her bankroll which a guy May likely spend more than that when he choose to go to a pub and have a few beers during weekends. So I think the suggestion is indeed a nice one because if we manage our bankroll very well it can last for 3-4 months.

Being a low risk gambler comes with a lot of discipline, you may be a low risk gambler but gamble with a high percentage.the fact that you're mindful of your loses  may limits you at some points but left for me as a low risk gambler I don't get past my ratio percentage which is mostly 1% or 2% from my income. Though adjusting my gambling activities is quite an easy task  pending when it's not favourable in most cases.
