This is the first time I've ever made such a mistake. I sent $3,000 worth of Ethereum to a USDT address on the TRC network.
The USDT TRC network option is available among the deposit options. However, the ETH TRC network is not available among the ETH deposit options.
During my research yesterday, I learned that the funds can be recovered manually. Because the USDT TRC address uniquely belongs to Bitsler, the funds are sitting as unsupported tokens, awaiting manual recovery with the private key. Could you invite a Bitsler moderator here to speed up the process? Or can you, our valued elders, contact them?

I will update the topic with any developments.

No need to lock this thread. If his account has been credited, he can include solved in parentheses on this thread topic title instead and also post about it on this same thread also.

The addresses are easily generated and they supposed to be the same address for both ERC20 and TRC20 just like how it is on exchanges. People will definitely be making the mistake if the addresses are not the same.

There are two people you have to contact. The support team of the casino and the representative of the casino here. And you would have contact them to know their respond before coming here. It is good to cross checked your deposit address and the network when you are using mon custodial wallets or exchange before sending it. Sorry for the inconvenience you put yourself. I contacted live support. They keep saying they'll keep you updated on any developments. That's why I wrote here for effective communication. Maybe there's someone who can contact Bitsler administrators.
You have to wait for them to tell you the development of the transaction, even if you contact the representative here, he will still contact the support team about the issue,  though that might be fast track the issue to be resolved since third party is involved. You can Check if they have telegram channel and other social media contact, you can contact them there if there is any. So you can lay your complain in those places too.

Just relax mate, I understand how agitating it can be when you find yourself in situations like this but you will do yourself more harm by panicking more, I will just advise you chill and wait for the response as they have already told you they will updated.

They have been similar cases like yours although this is actually different to some extent but atleast the funds can be recovered manually and that's something to hold on to.

Yes, it's my fault, but my ETH went to their wallet, not to some unknown location. There's one thing I don't understand: why does manual recovery take so long? I don't think the people handling this are performing multiple recoveries simultaneously. Shouldn't the unit performing the recovery based on the request handle this immediately? It would be great if someone could explain it technically.

Lolz! Calm down guy. When did this thing happened? If really they are sending it back to you. It will take time. Because they have to make some research on the transaction and identification of your account and also f they will refund it, it will not be all the money that will come back. I don't know for casinos but if it was an exchange, you would have lost some percentage of your amount before crediting to your account. This too can long for 2 to 3 weeks because they can't just send you back the money like that. And all what you have to do is to chat them up, keep them busy, present the case and follow their instructions.

Hopefully your issue can be manually recovered. These one is tricky could be 50:50, and due the security casino could rejected your manual recovery. My advice, main focus is to recover the fund.

You can lure them, maybe is fine to take some fee like 10-15% for the recovery. I was doing these is some casino, but they rejected the offer and due security they not manually recovered those fund around 265$. My advice, contact them first.... maybe lure them by send them a message don't mind you guys taking fee maybe 10-15% and goodlucks.

Bitsler might have a separate team for that who have access to the wallet, and maybe they also need permission from the owner before they grant your request.

It might be better to also post your case into their official thread and wait for their response.

You're not the only one who has an issue. I'm sure they are also busy solving other cases.

If that's the given period that they have, there's nothing you can do with it. I haven't experience this with them and probably won't be but I think that in some exchanges, they also have around a few days to a week time window for the recovery.

I guess that if it's already been said and your concern has been answered already, all you have to do is to wait for it to be processed.

I know that it might be a long wait for you but your patience is needed on that. It's also possible that it might not take that long depending on the response on the team that's assigned for the recovery.

1. Security reason, some casino is also can refusing your request to recovery any fund are mistakely sent to wrong network or address
2. Wallet sometimes having security approval like sign from 2-3 people, the request could be your ticket issue > go to dapartment > go to fund management stuff > approval from the one who handle sign or access wallet.
3. Third parties wallets (these is a hard one) sometimes cannot be recovery, sometimes waiting them too
4. If they response you and they said can recovery you. Be gratefull, not every stuff like these can be recovery sometimes.

Back to the main topic, these one problem is mostly because of your self. So, If these kind of mistake can be recovery lucky for you. I have problem in CHIPS GG 265$, you want to know how long can get my money.

Over 1200 days is over 3 years. Looks here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5505672.msg64408337#msg64408337. They can just easily say no, cause the problem or mistae is by your self but if they indeed want to recovery your fund good for you then. These mistake is not gonna be a mistake or problem, If you double check before the address or network before send.

Yes, it's my fault, but my ETH went to their wallet, not to some unknown location. There's one thing I don't understand: why does manual recovery take so long? I don't think the people handling this are performing multiple recoveries simultaneously. Shouldn't the unit performing the recovery based on the request handle this immediately? It would be great if someone could explain it technically.
You don't know how their system was designed.

When you are an individual, you can just restore your seed into a different wallet or connect to a different network on MetaMask and call it a day.

But they are a big casino that might be using a third party payment processor which has a shit ton of safety measures to protect access to their wallets. If the address is expecting to receive a coin and receives another one, it might require a manual recovery from an employee.

Remember *you* screw up, and many services don't even do manual recoveries. I would just wait and be thankfull they are helping you out.

Generally, these kind of things take time to solve not because its tehnically so difficult, but simply because platforms usually don't care that much to sort it out as soon as possible, or they are understaffed.

I contacted live support. They keep saying they'll keep you updated on any developments. That's why I wrote here for effective communication. Maybe there's someone who can contact Bitsler administrators.

When did this exactly happened? Man you should just wait! It's not a simple send resend refund thingy. It might be to you, but it certainly isn't to them (some already gave to an in depth explanation on it). Remember you are the one who is at fault. No offence but you should be happy that they responded and showed the willingness to help you, where some casinos would straight up deny such request, or ask for recovery fee. Just wait and have patience.
