i don't know how i completely forgot this, but tomorrow one of the most important derbies in turkey will be played in the turkish cup. fenerbahçe will host beşiktaş at home, and this match will be one of the most important matches in group c and the group stage of the cup.

Yeah match was really much more enjoyable than i expected. But Fenerbahçe’s starting 11 didn't really have a chance of winning anyway. But still they played quite well against Besiktas. Despite their missing players the match seemed destined for a draw until a last minute goal made it 2-1.
By the way, I came across an interesting stat. including this game, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe have faced each other 23 times in the Turkish Cup. Two of those ended in a default (forfeited) win. I thought that the match would end in a draw but it was the late drama that made Beşiktaş win that game. It was Beşiktaş who went 1-0 up in the 33rd minute of the game. That lead was soon finished when Fenerbahçe equalized through controversial penalty.

Fenerbahçe had more possession but lucky Beşiktaş was able to score late in the game and won the game by 2-1. Vaclav Cerny scored twice for his team to make Beşiktaş unbeaten for the last seven games.
