I will only prefer to accept popular altcoins for people that do not know me. But for some people that know me, I may accept other assets or things depending on our locations and offline conversion.

The first thing you go do if you wan reply na to read the message properly my guy, The truth be say most people here dey use their exchange address collect pay and them never sign those messages post am for forum, I never said they cannot sign it, now putting it as a requirement for collecting a loan would make it a bit of a long process. Again, I never said I am collecting pay with exchange address and even if I did, e no mean say I dey hold for exchange, non-custodial wallets is for holding and I can still choose to consolidate on exchanges before pushing to my cold storage for safe holding, no dey go off context as you dey reply post.

If they stake the address already they can use any address that they want to received the loan but they will have to sign a message with the staked address.

They can borrow the money from anywhere they like, what that is very important is that they should not have the intention to scam.

It doesn't matter bro, in a world of many possibilities, whoever can render a legitimate service should go ahead as long as he is capable of maintaining it for longer.

It is a free interest loan and he is the one sending money first to the participants, so he is the person that should be somewhat on the loosing side and needs protection against loan defaulters.

If he maintains a good conduct, in a short while, a trusted member can add him to their trust list and he becomes a DT member. Well done OP. It is a nice initiative to be of help to the Nigerian community.

This was the main point I was raising, what becomes the fate of people receiving their pay with an exchange address, bearing in mind you can only sign a message with a non-custodial wallet?

 

If they stake the address already they can use any address that they want to received the loan but they will have to sign a message with the staked address.

Maybe for the purpose of this loan you can consider if the person stakes another address from a non-custodial wallet and uses that or the address he is using to collect their pay to collect the loan? just in case the address they are using already is from an exchange? maybe that too can work. I feel it would be less tasky for you and your clients if that requirement is skipped though .

Yes if he has posted the noncustodial wallet address before on this forum. He can use a custodial address to receive the money but use the noncustodial address to sign the message.

If you or any receive signature campaign pay from a custodial wallet after hearing so many dangers, means all the time spent in the forum is worthless. I don't say in particular but to reach as many who don't take this advice.

Simple wallet like Trustallet  can be user friendly, fees are low and customizable as well. Right now fees are low, less that $0.5 per transaction and the least  earning rank in the forum is about $30-$40, it won't bite to pay the transaction fee every week, how greedy can one be compared to the dangers of using exchange to receive funds.

Well done at O.P for coming up with such a good idea of interest free loan service on this our local board, as a medium to assist our fellow Nigerian who could have been in need of financial assistance and needed a quick loan. Because I'm pretty much sure we have other loan services on this our local board who offers their services in both crypto and fiat, but never have I seen any whose loan is interest-free just like yours, even offer a 28days  duration, a complete month.
