Sport is considered to be a business for everyone currently. Before, it was for entertainment, respect and to create records but both the players and clubs have seen it as a good business to make huge amount of money. This same orientation is what have gotten into the head of those that don't partake in the sport. For example, casinos and gamblers.

Instead, I will put the blame on the gamblers who think that they can use gambling to enrich themselves when we know that's not possible. If I put myself in the shoes of a sports fan who isn't interested in gambling at all, I don't see the connection between my interests and gambling, nor how gambling should interfere with my love of sports. I understand your take here, while on addition, not everyone that likes sports activities actually gambles, but majority do, those not interested in gambling are few and have some of their reasons they hold upon not to gamble, but asfir most of us that are into gambling, we should serve as a motivation to others, because we may not know how is watching after how we are gambling and living our daily life, such could be a reason for them to also turn a gambler or never want to be a gambler for that specific reason, we have to know what we are doing.

It is simple, they should not be betting and also they should be advising everyone around them not to be betting. Just know that as people will like something, some people will not like the thing, that is how betting will be. Nobody is forcing anyone to bet. What gambling has done to sports in modern times is to make it larger and more popular. Gambling companies are one of the largest sponsors of Large leagues, teams and tournaments. They have enabled many players keep playing sports while sustaining their lives and for some making a fortune.
I don't see how it would degrade the experience for fans. Not all fans gamble and for those who do, they should do it responsibly. We can't save everyone from ruining themselves by being addicted with gambling, alcohol or drugs. Not every of them are the concern of normal people.
Gambling has been here since the sports started and would be till it lasts, there's no date where gambling would stop working and be banned. It's an integral part of game and doing it responsibly, we could promote fair and competitive sports.

Yes, what you're saying is correct. It's only right that we gamblers should always practice moderation so we don't end up in addiction, which we shouldn't reach.

I would love to live in a world free of advertisement. Unfortunately, that's not where we live, and marketing is essential for many industries, gambling included.

As per the degradation of the experience for fans, I don't think it will degrade it further, not more than the typical experience of a TV viewer used to television ads every 10 minutes. So apart from the ubiquity of betting, we could talk about the ubiquity of consumerism.

true, not all who like their sports gamble, they are just obsessed with the players and or the league or the sport, just that, I have a friend who is quite fanatical in talking about football for example, he supports a team so that it can become a champion, loyal matches are always watched every time, and what the team does is followed by him to buy collections issued by his favorite team but he does not gamble on his favorite team.

As time goes by, the gambling activity of people will continue to increase because new gambling sites are constantly coming up and they are spending a lot of money on advertising, due to which only gambling advertisements are seen when we enter the internet. We are very addicted to the online world, due to which we spend a large amount of time every day on social media and other platforms. The future generation will spend more time online and then they will be interested in gambling after seeing gambling advertisements because there is a lot of greed shown there. I agree, I completely share these concerns. I believe the total integration of betting into sports truly undermines its essence. Instead of the pure thrill of competition, we increasingly see intrusive bookmaker advertising (even during prime time, which is infuriating), which changes the very atmosphere of watching.
Personally, I notice how the emphasis is shifting from the skill of players to side discussions, such as odds, and I don't understand how this is allowed to happen on state-run channels. This not only detracts from the experience of the game, but also subtly encourages fans to engage in risky behavior. Maintaining the spirit of fair competition is becoming less and less common.

There really isn't much to worry about because a sports fan is still a fan and it depends on if they are die hard fans or just casual fans. A sports fan can also be a gambler and it has got nothing to do with them supporting their favorite sports side or not.

There are also some good bettors who don't watch live games or can say they are a fan of any clubs but because betting is a whole different ball game entirely, they can bet using analysis and history checks to pick their winning predictions.

That depends on personal because if a sports lover just wants to enjoy the sports without gambling, that will not be related at all. They don't spend their money to place a bet but only enjoy the match. But if they want to place a bet, they will search for the team that can win. Sports will still exist without gambling because the commercial will come from other businesses and not just from gambling. No need to worry about that but you should worry about yourself if you often place a bet because you need to control your behavior.

This is obviously a hot button issue this week with the NBA arrests.  I think that people aren't so worried because right now it seems that most of the dishonest gambling is on player prop bets during regular season games so nobody is too upset.  It is only a matter of time before this turns into star players throwing championship games...  Maybe hard to imagine now, but gambling is growing fast and players seem to be more and more greedy by the day.  I hope they get it figured out before it ruins the sanctity of sporting events.
