20% of Russians are sadists

I've come to the conclusion that about 20% of Russians get sadistic pleasure from inflicting suffering on Ukrainians. It can be said, that there are three peoples in Russia: an apolitical majority, a pro-war minority, and an anti-war minority. The pro-war minority ("vatniks") impose Putin's current policies and persecute the democrats in power. Putin wouldn't have started the war if the “vatniks” didn’t persecute people like old liberal Medvedev, A.Chubays, I. Nabiullina; and his policies are turning them into sadists.
I can explain why Putin has to torment Ukrainians, causing them as much suffering as possible. For the past 20 years, there has been a clash of two ideologies: the Russian imperial ideology (Ivan the Terrible, Stalin, etc.) and the Ukrainian pro-democratic Maidan. The Maidan gave Ukrainians a lot (a fight against corruption), and if Putin hadn't bombed them, they would now be happier than Russians. And in this case, the Russians would also want to inspire a revolution (Maidan) in Moscow. This is precisely why Putin is artificially making Ukrainians unhappy. The "vatniks"  have a favorite meme: "The ukrs had jumped on the Maidan", meaning that as long as Ukrainians live worse than Russians, the “vatniks” believe that a revolution against the government is a bad idea.
I constantly read news about how the Russian army bombed a Ukrainian hospital, a medicine warehouse, and so on—at least unconsciously, all of this is aimed precisely at causing suffering to Ukrainians. It can be said that Putin no longer has a choice: if he loses power, he would lose his life.

Well op my position on this your post, seem neutral but one thing I know you may be correct or wrong but your statistics is not properly shown to prove that such is . Naturally human have the charismal of exbiting sadistic nature, I see that sadistic nature in human remain idle to many, until it's been stimulated by some unknown forces beyond the individual control. I always advice any parts to settle their difference internally and never allow shadow members to influence their decision, because they will push them into war front leaving them face the music. Anything can happen in war all the both parties is seeking is to gain Freedom depending the perception and the angle of view to whoever in concerned. It would have served better that avoidance take place before it generated this confrontation, but now it's on this very stage peace shouldn't be inevitable, what will called sadist today is seeing because confrontation is allowed sadistic nature would have remain idle if not stilmulated, conclusion is that both parties should find the part of peace, no party smile or show Love while in war.
