Thank you very much for your responses and your engagement. anonymousminer is my personal hater — I posted an announcement about selling a painting for 30 BTC, and he just can’t handle it. He keeps insulting me. As for the crowdfunding project, I simply wanted to hear the opinions of other users, and I appreciate that. I have never planned, nor do I plan, to solicit any donations on this forum or anywhere else. I’m not begging for money. I’m not asking for anything. I posted a sales listing on the forum, and anonymousminer accuses me of begging because of that and insults me. I hope that someday a crowdfunding platform of this type will be created — the biggest challenge will be preventing scams; freedom and anonymity create opportunities, but also risks. Thank you for everything.

A crypto crowdfunding platform seems thrilling but it is risky in reality. Since transactions aren't traceable outside the network, scammers could create fake campaigns to deceive donors/investor. The value of crypto is not stable so non crypto campaign threshold might not reach so ultimately u have to convert fund into digital/fiat. Moreover governments impose strict regulations on crypto which could lead to legal issues for the site. Many individuals also lack knowledge about using wallets or exchanges. It's an ambitious concept but without solid safety measures and trust it could do more harm than good.

People already have an expectation of your intention because your reputation precedes you, based on what you posted before this post.

If the idea comes from a developer who has contributed to this community, opinions will differ, and there will be no insults, better check your trust rating, because it will follow you, because your reputation precedes you

I’m selling a painting I created myself. It depicts a face as a blurred mask. The painting is small but filled with positive energy, affirmation, and goodness. It’s meant to change my life.

This offer is directed toward early Bitcoin adopters who are willing to pay 30 BTC.

I understand that this might seem foolish to some, but I truly believe that there is someone out there who might want — and be able — to create a new life for me, while receiving something that I made with that very intention.

This user is just a beggar with a poor me story... hence the 20 BTC for them as an example.  They are looking for different ways to appeal to the bleeding hearts.  Avoid this OP!

Yes, of course you will find many newbies coming to the Project Development section and try to raise funds based on their idea. Some ask directly for money while others are intelligent and try to gain sympathy indirectly, asking for indirect funds.

While previously they needed to think about something at least to come up with an idea, these day, GPTs have made this job easy, you can get millions of ideas through those platforms and present them here  Smiley

Crypto is irreversible.  What good is a central processor that takes fees?   If I want to crowdfund, I post a BTC address and advertise.

Easier said than done. Ads cost money and not everyone who is seeking funds has ad budget so I don't see how your idea is better than what the OP just posted. I think what the OP is saying is that crypto crowdfunding platforms would be more inclusive, especially for people in developing countries and those outside Europe and North America.

At OP, I do not see how your idea would eliminate fiat currencies. As far as I know, governments are solidly behind the currencies they back and would do anything to make sure that alternatives they do not control do not overshadow their national currency. This is why we often hear about crypto bans in certain countries when the government feels they are losing control.

I just came across this yesterday... "Crowdfunding with bitcoin" coded entirely in a HTML file?

https://github.com/supertestnet/semaphore

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.
