What exchanges do you need access to for trading high volatile and meme coins?

I have an account at Coinbase and Gemini.  If I want to trade and do it with high volatily coins and meme coins, which exchange do I need access to?  It would seem binance is very important right?  But those don't offer those meme coins that you can 5x or 10x?  So you have to use uniswap or pancakeswap?  If you use those 2 sites, you need ETH to send and receive right?



So for someone that wants to trade coins that can go up a lot or go down a lot, which exchanges do you need access to?  I don't think you can even use binance if you use VPN right?

You’re looking for places to trade high volatile coins like memecoins I think the first place of search should be a decentralized exchanges like Aster and Hyperliquid or others like you have listed. But if you prefer the centralized exchanges then you can use the smaller exchanges like MEXC which lists almost every coins I know then for extremely volatile coins I think even the larger exchanges now have this section called the Alpha, like binance Alpha and other exchanges having theirs too I think you can actually find this coins there but if you’re lookin for decentralized ones you can check Raydium

So these exchanges don't have KYC right?  Do they care what country or city you are at?


So for people who trade, in order of the most important exchanges, how would it go?  I got to assume it's binance and coinbase as the top 2 right?  Binance you trade altcoins but could you cash out USD to your bank account and thus fiat?  Back then I think they didn't?  You would need a Coinbase or Gemini or Kraken for selling to USD to bank account.



So for altcoins, what are these options for those coins that can 5x and 10x?  Uniswap and pancakeswap right?  Back then I recalled bittrex was another one that was good.

I don't know if Uniswap is still popular but I know Pancakeswap is very much popular. That's my good to go exchange for trading memecoins and degens, especially of the BSC chain. Just Trust Wallet and then get to the DApp. No issues. No KYC required because it's a Dex. For Solana based memetokens, Jupiter, Orca or Raydium are your Dexs for them.

If you’re into trading high volatility coins and meme tokens, Binance and MEXC are both solid choices.

AFAIK people use web wallet and use DEX for this, you don't see these meme listed in CEX because it can tarnish their reputation in the long term.
Last time I know exchange like OKX and Binance provide web3 wallet where you can interact with DEX but it's DYOR because its non custodial wallet.

If your mentality are ready for trading with coins have high volatile like meme coins you can use MEXC exchange because almost every days always have new meme coins listing there. First are you sure want to trade with high volatile meme coins and do you know how high risk when trading at meme coin? I think meme coins already listing at CEX exchange not really interested yet and difficult will break up x10 or x30, better trade at DEX exchange exactly meme coins with Solana network.

Possibility raise much profit with Solana meme coins network but you must ready if meme coins easily got rugpul or scam, however trading with meme coins have high risk but you earn high return. For CEX exchange usually MEXC list often meme coins than other top exchange but if already listing at CEX price have increase up before listing at DEX exchange.

You will get all this meme coins from all exchanges, but if you want exchange which has higher meme coins, then choose most of those exchanges with low reputation, those are the exchanges which are always full with meme coins which can do 10x for you within 10 minutes and in less than 1 minute the coin will be back to zero.

Just check CoinGecko you will see different exchanges there, they are arranged based on rating, go for exchange with lower rates, and you going to see coins that you looking for, but you have to be careful.

If you want to trade or invest avoid all those meme coins, if you are lucky, you might be able to multiply your money, but when you will be losing, you might end up losing everything within few minutes, so just stay away from them.

Hard to chase meme/shitcoins because it is a very risky investment. Your position can easily be liquidated if you don't know what you're doing. Also, when dealing with this type of alts, better use your extra extra funds, otherwise, you are putting yourself in a terrible position. Also, make sure to really check the trading platform itself because some of them might be scammers as well.
If the OP has not suffered any losses yet owed to chasing these high risk meme coins, then, he should be ready to experience one. Been there in that position a long time ago, and I don't think the narrative of meme coin/token has been changed for the better.

Indeed, the risk management for dealing with meme coins should be well calculated. Also the strategy to read the chart technically is very different than big and mid caps. I am not trading memecoins anymore, but I used to use dexscreen a lot to find good opportunities and trading in meteora or jupiter because I was more into Solana ecosystem.

Some people use also bots in telegram to make the transactions faster and minimize the chance of losing the good timing.

High volatility coins? Those popular CEXes out there will do. Binance, Bitget, MEXC, Kucoin, OKX, BingX and many other more.
Meme coins? Just go at pump.fun and you will find lots, and lots, and lots of meme coins there where you can make your money...or lose money as well.

Correct me on this one, but it seems like MEXC is listing volatile coins as well as some meme coins as well. It's not that they're listing meme coins that will go up x5 or x10 overnight, but they're more lenient when it comes to listing coins hence, they are offering more coins to trade although most of them have low trading volume. I'm not familiar if Uniswap or Pancakeswap offers meme coin trading since it's just purely converting or in this case, swapping.

If you want to trade coins that can go up or down, MEXC for me is the best option. Now the term "a lot" is a subjective, but I've seen lots of coins dumping and pumping on MEXC as well. I might be a bit bias, but that's my opinion. Just be careful though. You're not a kiddo anymore, and you know the risks of those coins that you're finding.

Nobody use uniswap or pancakeswap to trade meme, well not in solana ecoystem.
They used meteora, jup, and pumpfun but there's reason why CEX aren't enabling you to trade those meme in the first place because the odd to win is small.

If you truly want to, what you need is solana wallet like backpack, phantom or solflare and visiting those DEXs.

OP, Binance is your best bet if you want to have a variety of choices of multiple coins, including meme coins. Binance is less strict when it comes to listing a new coin and from my experience, it has listed more coins than most of the other exchanges. Even if you can't find a coin on futures, you can still use leverage on the spot market.
Pancakeswap had a Degen Mode years ago but I can't find it right now. With a degen mode, you could trade with up to 750x leverage, as far as I remember. You can also manually search for every meme coin on Coinmarketcap and check which exchange gives you the ability to trade them with an increased leverage.

Coinmarketcap or Coingecko only list meme coins that have been around for a while or have been listed on centralized exchanges. You won't find days old projects, hidden gems that can grow x5, x10, or x100 by pump and dump on CMC or CGK.

For those who want to get rich quickly and are willing to take risks by hunting for hidden gems on DEX. GeckoTerminal, DEX Screener or DEXTools are the tools they need. Also, Binance Alpha is a great place to hunt gems.


But honestly, throwing money at these coins is gambling, not investing.

I am sure that binance and kucoin must be more than enough for the use case that you have mentioned there. There could be few other memecoins which are not yet listed by binance or kucoin but as far as that I have observed either of these two exchanges must be covering most of the recent altcoins and tokens including the recent developments like real-world-assets as well.

We cannot rush for any conclusion like this because there are people must be making use of this type of coins and tokens in trading and I believe that OP could be one of them.

I guess that you can access binance through VPN as well. I have tried accessing binance's .com domain and that worked fine for me. You just need to make sure that you are using VPN with a country's IP address where binance is not banned.
