This is very simple and possible because from how the market and price are being swinging this days around an active trader or investor who is smart can definitely make regular profits from the market with the regular changes over the time. I have watched the market changes (dropping to 107k and rises back to 114k and to 115k respectively) do you know with that approach you can be targeting the price to make some quick dollar?

Now lemme break down a little bit, when the market was high I sold some of my holdings and and keep usdt on my exchange leaving it on buying order where I had to place it on 107k (buyin) and leave it open, when the market drop to exactly my entry point it triggers automatically and I also placed another selling order at 115k (having two seperate orders buying/selling simultaneously and both triggered) now I make profits from the market changes while I also have some holding on bitcoin then gambling with few dollars and this, it gives me few dollars that I do spend on my daily expenses.

So, you see? you can be a smart investors/trader while you still have your holdings on bitcoin without losing any of them.

What you just said it's the truth we can still make some little profits from the bitcoin market by frequently buying when the bitcoin price dip and sell when the price increases, especially now that the bitcoin market is fluctuating dramatically, but that advice should be for traders to take advantage of the drama bitcoin market, but as an investor I will advice you don't do such thing, instead buy those dips and hold for long term 4 to 10 or longer to enable you make reasonable profit from the bitcoin market, because what determines your profit is the amount of bitcoin you're holding in your wallet. So in that case Those Investors who are investing in bitcoin shouldn't sell part of their bitcoin holding to start gambling with it, and if you must gambling with the bitcoin market now that the bitcoin price is fluctuating get a separate fund for that gambling, don't sell part of your bitcoin holding to gambling in the bitcoin market just my own opinion.

Just one question, is there any logical way to determine that the market would repeat the same trend and process over and over again. There’s no doubt that you’ll be able to make some profit off the market through short term trades like you explained, but as far as I’m concerned, that’s purely gambling because there’s no guarantee that the market would continue in such trajectory right? You never know if the market would go lower and lower as soon as you buy, or if it’ll keep going higher as soon as you sell off at a point you feel you’ve made some profits. This is a risky approach and could land you in unexpected situations. The reason long term is advised is because the market is better predictable within the long term, at least we are sure Bitcoin has been able to maintain and upward trend over the years and inasmuch as past performances doesn’t guarantee future results, it’s still the most rational and clearer route that has the higher chances of generating you some profits.

I am not a dedicated trader but the approach you explain seems worthful of productive for someone to earn from the space. Trading is about becoming that wise in terms of decision making and how often one could remain online trading. I believe what you explained above is more spots trading and with sport trading the risk are actually very low and someone is that good with spots trading can as well be making few sat on the market since there is fluctuation in the market for few weeks. The market is actually unpredictably but those who are not that rooted into trading may not have that profits doing what you explained above.

Your analysis is very correct, if one is smart enough, you can actually make profit from the bitcoin fluctuation.As a trader, with the strategy of using low leverage and also setting your stop loss and taking profit in a convenient place, you will definitely make good profit from the market.

Some of us are always looking for that opportunity where the bitcoin market will be in full swing, this is not bad idea waiting on the long run and sometimes some persons can be inpatient, they have low risk bearing ability and such investor who cannot wait for a very long time can end up selling his bitcoin asset before time.

It is true that one can make good profit from daily trading as the case may be but do not get me wrong, there is nothing bad in holding for a long period of time as an investor who chooses to do so. Maybe if one does not have that space or convenience to trade on a daily basis, one can just buy and hold for a long  period of time and that could give the a good profit depending on their investment volume.

As for the daily trading, a trader could also make good profit on a daily basis as long as they are constantly watching the market and taking advantage of every opportunity that avails itself on a daily basis to make gains. I concur with you @Ruttoshi I don’t think it’s smart at all, it’s just you making bold moves and gambling and you didn’t outline the risks involved in this moves. I don’t think this is a proven strategy, it’s just something you tried maybe once and it worked for you, it might not work again. You should put a strong disclaimer adding to the one you put that this is not a financial advise, cos some newbies might look at your account and have this confidence of trying it out.

You will still have to treat this as trade in and only put very little of your portfolio into it to avoid losing long term. If you're to do this also try not to be too narrow in your approach, you can spread out the percentage where your trade triggers to avoid losing too much.

The approach I try is to try to catch the chart at the top and lock profit in for when it drops down to a lower value. This way I'm not losing when we start to move into a bear market.

Wetin you talk here na true and na something wey I don dy do for the market for years now even before I join this forum, just that my target of buying and selling different from yours, but one thing I want make you understand is that if you use such strategy of buying and selling or trading your Bitcoin, you don't have to be greedy while doing it because a winning position can turn to a losing position very quick.

Another thing about such method is that you go feel very pained if you buy around $107k and sell around &115k, but Bitcoin go as high as $150k later on, though you exit the market at a profit, but you go vex for yourself because na better money making opportunity you miss so.
 
So finally, if you no Sabi analysis the market, I no go advice you to even try am, make you no go buy when the market dy collapse seriously, because before the price go return back to your entry point, e fit take months or even years.

A lot of people make money from ranging market just like you have explain. They set buy limit at the lower limit and take profits at the upper range. They do this until there is a breakout from that range then they can use other means. Whenever Bitcoin enters a range, we can be sure that it will be touching both limits at least five to ten times before any breakout, this is enough time to profit aggressively from the market.

That is why I said that you must not sell off your entire portfolio rather you could just sell few sat to make sure you still have balance in BTC and also in USDT. For sure, not everyone this methods do favor as you can read my comment again to know that some people may definitely lose money why try to adopt to that method of trading, not everyone who can actually becoming successful through that means and to me it favors me. When you noticed that the strength is becoming to strong and potentially then you don't need to continue doing that rather you could stick to your holding than just dumping it out there were other investors can top up your mistakes to their holdings. The tricky or let me say interesting part of bitcoin is, it does not always move in the same direction we expect it to move so you could end up selling off some of your coins thinking the price will drop only to find out the price is rising instead then when such situations happen you are left stuck watching the coin soar higher without you and trust me it happens a lot of time, at least with me some couple of time and it is the reason why when people say it is difficult or almost impossible for you to say you're timing the market, I do really agree with their position. This advise is more profitable to those who are into bitcoin to make quick gains and a caution for them to also know such ambitions come with a price which is the risk you face and the exposure to more failures.

The market does not move in a straight direction before it gets to its expected destination, just like our life lines are. The lives we live  have ups and downs, falls and rises, before we get to grow old, and so does the market.
Therefore the only people that can profit off this market through what you said are technical analysts or traders, or people who trade the news, because if you don't have a clear technical understanding of the market, you won't know where or when to buy or sell to profit.
