True talk OP. Although no be say newbie no fit create threat if the thing e wan talk dey super important, informative and go contribute well well for the community, but if na only wetin we dey see everyday then na nothing but spam. Most of the times self, some of them no go even look through other threads for the local board to see whether person don post similar something, them go just drop the banger as e dey hot dey spam the LB.

We really need to take note of this as e go help to keep the LB clean.

I swear some times is very annoying, somebody that's just newly in the system that haven't know yet the basics of what the whole bitcoin stuff is all about wii be the person  to start advising or telling the older folks what's going on, it sounds funny at times .

It's important as a newbie you first pay attention to everything that's going on in the forum , the rules and regulations guarding the system, people's post and comments and navigating round the forum at least to wilding your knowledge on various things before you start creating topics and all that so you wouldn't be having issues. Learning is a continue process, nobody is above learning not even me so let do what is right and lessing the stress on the moderator.

Yeah nice one op but then I believe that the fact that most newbies rush to write a thread is because most of them want to be seen, or to simple put noticed even if the threads are repetitive. But for this newbie account it's even too early if he or she wanted to start  a thread it could have been with a question or so .Then again let's not forget that not all newbies in the forum are truly newbies in crypto.

Furthermore you are right Truly speaking, newbies should prioritize replying to other old threads rather than creating new ones because it will really help to build their knowledge of how to create a knowledgeable thread basically even me my self am still learning how to create good threads that are not repitative. Newbie will behave like newbies is what that happened there, they all want to earn merit, rank up and join a campaign is what that is happening. If they do not first learn, they may end up spamming and some may plagiarized and be banned.

I believe some feels that creating new thread would earn them merits, which in most cases have been proven true.

Many newbies don't want to understand how the forum work but rush to earning merits.

We have many thread on the local board but some have little or no discussion and everyday new ones are being created. Though this isn't much a problem as it shows how active the local board has become.

If I am not mistakenly this is my first comment on this section and also locating this board. From my post history if you check you would see that I do more questioning to know how things works than advise in fact how will come and advise people that has already been here before me and what knowledge and experience do I have to come advise people on what to do or not. As we know bitcointalk community is large and there are more things to explore from this community but as a beginner if they don’t low down their interest of starting advice than to learn to know things they would still be facing difficulties as long as I can sense.

Asking questions helps us to navigates how the system works, but most people nowadays don’t like that, so it’s good to keep learning asking questions then those whom we think that knows more than us can come correct us and teach us the right path to follow. I don’t also encourage newbies to always be in a haste of things like they would want to use a week to know everything without them doing research and reading that jumping in wanting to know all things.

True talk, OP. As you can see I'm a newbie in this forum, and I totally support the fact that newbies should first make their research and learn before posting. I also would have made the mistake of generating same topic in a particular board but luckily, I searched before making any moves.
I understand that it's annoying to see new members trying to lecture senior members, But sometimes it doesn't come off that way. Some of us are just trying to share meaningful information and grow. At the same time, I believe it’s all part of the learning process. Everyone starts from somewhere, and with proper guidance, newbies can improve and understand how the forum really works. Instead of discouraging us completely, correct and show us the right way to go about things.
In conclusion, I would speak for myself and other Newbies. A little Help or guildians from senior members on how to make quality post and avoid spamming threads would be greatly appreciated.

I remember sometime back a thread created by one of our local board members on the general board, in the beginners and help board in specific where he was complaining about newbies trying to teach older members by creating new topics when they’re suppose to be learning. The post drew a lot of attention and many forum members were in support of his claim and proved that’s what newbies are fond of doing.

Some threads may actually not look necessary to be created but every newbie now thinks it’s a trend that when you’re new to the forum, you need to create a thread to feel among and recognised by other members. But the truth of the fact is that, you don’t need to create one that’s already existing before and you should prioritise learning over teaching of others that are here before you.

I grab from ur headlines and na true. Sometimes Dem think say to grow for the forum na about creating threads or by post counts. Them non know say growth here na by based on the qualify of informations and by the means texts take dey constructed for readability and understanding.
Worse to it be say as dem dey create these threads, dem no dey visit follow am up based on others replies and dem go jump in keep creating more. The one way dey vex me be say some of the threads na informative post content way carry enquiry contexts via questionnaire but yet dem no dey show any signal say dem open threads way requires other users response to get something clear or understood. I also no want agree say na only our LB this dey happen both the general forum.
Some newbies really need that more learning if dem must grow.

You're definitely correct. Many newbies hurry to begin their own threads without first spending time to read, learn, or even contribute meaningfully to existing ones. This makes board filled up with repetitive or shallow posts.
To create a thread is not a competition, it is about adding worth. The best option to grow I through reading already existing discussions, understanding the topic, and thoughtfully engaging. As soon as you have learned more that you should, then your own threads will be useful naturally even respected.

You are very correct in your observation, it is very important as a beginner or a newbie to understand the forum very well, ask questions where necessary, when you have been able to studied the forum and know how and when  to correctly make your reply and quotes, you can now begin to create threads and remember while creating a thread, don't just create thread that won't be relevant to this forum, when you create any thread that is not meaningful and can add value to the forum, is a sign of incompetency and can lead to negative feedback.

As a newbie, don't be in a hurry to create threads, when you are very acquainted with the platform, creating a thread will not be a difficult task, and you will be able to receive positive feedback and reward.

I don see the numerous threads for the local board, some days sef you go dey see more than 10 threads wey dem create for the local board in a day and the thing dey so tiring because if person create thread na for people to engage in that thread before anybody thinks of starting another thread. E come be like say the local board just dey too porous without moderation. Anyways, just like you talk na mostly newbies dey do all these things and na based on say their body dey hot to create thread, though the time wey i be newbie na so my body dey hot to make post but i no dey too create thread randomly without constraints.

So many similar and identical threads wey every discussion for just dey together for one thread but dem go create thread upon threads. The one wey dey annoy me na all this people wey dey bring matters concerning exchange p2p wahala of merchants and vendors. I think it's high time our moderator start locking some irrelevant and identical threads make spamming no too much for the local board.
