No, I don't think you are crazy mate, its really a cool observation. I believe weird stuff like this where common in the early block since it was just Satoshi and few others just playing around the codes I would say.
The coinbase script (1 byte each):
· Block 795 → 0x68 → h
· Block 796 → 0x6f → o
· Block 797 → 0x74 → t
Put together, it spells "hot" — with no noise or other bytes in between.
"Hot" might have just been a random test data or something similar, maybe someone having fun seeing what they can stick around to on coinbase.

The payout address for block 797 is:
1GXheusMrRbndHuPLFMu8PHd6QYN6yBYy7
Notice the sequence "heus" — four letters in a row in Base58.
As for the “heus” in the address, that may have probably just being a coincidence, I think we can all agree that Base58 sometimes gives stuff that looks like real words sometimes so that won't be far fetched.
