With Aster (ASTER) standing as their current MC, that alone has shocked the crypto community. The point of my post is that I don't believe it will go any further, I believe Aster (ASTER) will lose it's position in the near future.

Most of these crypto coins give newbies a lot of false hope and then end up losing lots of money in the end after a well planned pump and dump by the orchestrators

Aster is still young, there's still a lot of downs and ups before it reaches to $5. That's an ATH that you're thinking here but the good side of it that it's still young and the demand is there. But you'll never know until how long you will have to wait before it finally happens. And so, if that's the goal you're trying to stick around then be patient but if it's for this year, we don't know if it can happen but you'll never know right? Though as a good gesture is not to be too expectant with high prices although it only requires for x5 to reach that price. Do you think that the two months remaining is enough?

This year is projected to be a good year for Bitcoin prices, and not necessarily for altcoins. Many traders and investors have high hopes for excellent returns from the cryptocurrency market. As for Aster itself, I've seen a decline after its previous ATH, and its current price is averaging $1. I think it's wise to wait until the development team announces new information or perhaps updates on their project's development, as their airdrop distribution to participants hasn't been completed yet. Whether you want to invest long-term is entirely your right, and anyone who believes in Aster.

Aster has the backing of the Binance Lab which is responsible for promoting different altcoins projects through investing in them. Apart from market manipulation which can make this project starts moving anyhow, the price can still go above what we have imagined it to reach.
There are some projects i don't guess about the price anyhow when I have seen enormous backing from whales that could make the price go up to reach unimaginable price.

Jup+Jlp are at about a $2.1B market cap too. I think a lot of good dexes are going to sit around that mark until one shows a lot of promise and dominance.

It used to by dydx but they look to be fading quite a bit into obscurity as they felt quite centralised.

Also, hyper liquid has a market cap of $14B so it's not completely imposed another coin might overtake it.

Amidst the current market correction, what are you doing now? Are you ready to buy Aster now? I think the price hasn't fully bottomed out yet, as BTC's price is under downward pressure due to the renewed tariff issue between the US and China.

I’ve just noticed that over the past two weeks many crypto communities have gotten hype‑ed up about a new project that has emerged in the crypto space nothing other than ASTER.
Obviously, after a few weeks the hype will quiet down and die off.

And the investor community, which gets hype‑ed again by such coins in the crypto industry, will start looking for or waiting for the next “hype” coin and will try to jump on the new trend.
This is exactly what they keep doing repeatedly, and if they fail to catch the trend, they’re sure to end up burning their funds.

Aster backing is definitely no joke, it's supported directly by CZ but doesn't mean unlimited demand though. People are torn between holding BNB and ASTER including me.

You are overthinking it and are paying too much attention to market capitalization which is really meaningless when it comes to speculating about pump and dumps.

Assuming this is the ASTER you guys are talking about, we can see that it is a very new shittoken that was created only about 2 months ago and it has only had one initial pump immediately after its creation where it went from $0.08 to $2.3 approximately.
Considering that it is not yet dumping hard, there is a chance for another pump that could take this useless shittoken to a higher price. Which is a common trend that happens to a considerable number of similar shittokens. But also keep in mind that everything we're talking about is speculation of a completely unpredictable market (since it is market manipulation we are trying to predict).

You can see what I mean about the "secondary pump" in your own example AVAX. It is a centralized shitcoin with a massive premine and a large max supply of 720 million. After its initial creation it got a pump to $38 and then it started dumping until the next pump that brought it up to $134, then it's been dumping ever since with only dead cat bounces (currently ~$17).
We can find similar pattern in many shitcoins and shittokens out there.

I don't see ASTER as a unique blockchain project too. And I don't see any difference between it and similar dex projects. There are many similar projects out there. So I suspect this is all just hype. And we know that hype in crypto can fade at any time or even quickly. Currently Aster is promoting their project through an airdrop that they are running. And I think that might sustain the hype around Aster for some time. But we don't know how long it will last. I can't find anything unique or even a use case for Aster that would make it sustainable in the long run. So I personally have my doubts about ASTER. And I think there's only one thing that could bring Aster to $5. And that's an altseason. But it doesn't seem like there's any clear indication of when that might happen. And even then I doubt ASTER can reach that if it has lost its hype or even the interest of investors.

I'm not overthinking or paying too much attention as you said, I'm just assuming the fact that shitcoins will be shitcoins, giving negative affirmations for shitcoins to people who read posts on this topic. There are many people who lost money in Shiba Inu (SHIB) or Dogecoin (DOGE), I see Aster (ASTER) also the same as seeing both coins & tokens. So, what I do is like mitigation, that's all, mate.

Even when each Aster to reaches 2 bucks, CZ will slap you in the face by dumping his Aster to the market. Don't be so stupid by expecting 500% while Aster itself is still doing airdrop quarterly to the its users. New tokens will always be going to the circulation to pressure the price increase.

If Bitcoin does not recover and continue the decline, then it will drag everything else down with it. Just use Bitcoin to monitor the market because that is what the big bags do, when they see that Bitcoin is not holding strong again, they will dump the market and wait to buy from the bottom. They don't care about the coin or your emotions, they are just there to make profits. Therefore, it is safer to follow them and do what they are doing than try to be loyal to anything.
