The Set and Forget Strategy

I was going through a forex channel on YouTube by Alex G, he has this strategy called the Set and Forget strategy, where you do your analysis, place your trade and let whatever happens in the market happen, no pressure, no fear to go out of the market, just let the market do her thing and I think I can relate that to Bitcoin since the last 40-48 hours.

Although it's been just a little time since I joined this Bitcoin family, but my interactions with the Pros in the business and what I saw in the last 40-48 hours, I got to know that patience is key in this business. It's been a long time that the market has really been bullish and going up rapidly until yesterday when there was a massive push down ward.

Honestly as a newbie, I would have sold and ran out of the market out of fear of the unknown but this is why you need the presence of experienced men around you cause they've seen it all and are still holding. They Set and Forget and are not even moved by the movement of the market, they are patient enough knowing and believing that what has gone down will definitely go back up.

The movement of the market can really play games with your emotions especially for us the newbies, no matter how small the money is and even when it's your Discretionary Income, you still have this fear of losing it and can be forced to sell before everything gets bad. But with the Set and Forget strategy, you invest in the market and stay clear till the right time comes for you to cash out massively.

Bro it's easy to say. Whoever the influencer is i will advise you to be very very careful, because they aren't the set of people you trust. If you actually take your time to read the forum  you will indeed learn more than what you will learn from that influencer online.Basically  in here is a community of people who are willing to share knowledge and learn from others  why  I am saying this is because the word "influencer" means someone who has the power to change or affect the way you think without even telling you to and most times this same set of people can control the price of the market as they please  so I will advise you do your own research, learn from the forum, but don't let yourself be carried away by an influencer.

I don't have much to say here since you have tried to advise the OP, influencer are liers, OP should know that already, they make you see black to be red and that's what they are paid to do, this forum has several boards and there is no question that any of us won't be able to ask here, because of my experience I don't like watching some videos online, some influencers words are powerful that i don't have safe control, you might fall for their rubbish brainwashing so it is better we don't allow ourselves to fall cheaply and regret later, we better run far from influencers, so that had known will not be our last statement.

I totally agree with you on this. I started trading Bitcoin just a few months ago and man, the emotions can be wild. I remember one time I bought in at $28k and then the market dropped to $26k, and I was like, "Oh no, I'm gonna lose it all!" I almost sold, but then I remembered what someone said on a forum — "The market doesn't care about your fear." So I just let it sit. And guess what? It went back up to $29k in less than 24 hours.

The Set and Forget thing really works, especially when you're dealing with Bitcoin. It's not like stocks where you have to watch every tick. Bitcoin moves fast, and it's easy to panic. But if you do your homework, set your entry, and just walk away, it gives you the space to breathe.

I also think it's about mindset. When you see the pros doing it, they don't react to every dip. They know that the market is just doing its thing. And honestly, the more I learn, the more I realize that the best traders are the ones who don't trade every day. They wait, they watch, and they let the market come to them.

Just don't forget to set your stop loss and take profit levels. Otherwise, it's like flying blind. But yeah, the Set and Forget strategy is gold for beginners like me. You just gotta trust the process.

I am curious, does Forex trading really pay? I have been studying Fx for quite a while now and I don't seems to get a good grabs of the market instead, I kept loosing my hard earn money. The goal is to be financially free and break free from Salary Job(9-5) but it never seems to happen. Strategies to trading Fx are just so enormous the more you learn, the more you get confused with the conclusion that Youtubers are just making content to get paid by Youtube. I don't really know much about Crypto trading, I am new and my first question will be, HOW DO I GET STARTED?
