You are right. For them to take such adverts to that extent of banks getting involved in advertising casino on their apps then they have a government policy for such provision or actions. Since they are a financial institution, maybe they felt like since it is our app and we can facilitate bet and casino payments, why not we have the casino on our app so that customers who play games can easily access the casino through our app, make transaction play games without much stress. This could be their thoughts and they really do not care about whatever happens as long as the law backs them up, the profit is their altimate goal.

I completely agree with you, and I believe technological advancements are rapidly changing the world. Personally, I believe gambling has become increasingly popular since technological advances, particularly computer and internet technology, which have made it easier for people to gamble anytime,  and anywhere. However, we need to realize that the essence of gambling is simply for entertainment. Therefore, we must be wise in our gambling and not overdo it. Essentially, anything in excess is bad, no matter what it is, so we shouldn't overdo it, especially when it comes to gambling, and I think this is the main basis for not experiencing unwanted risks as you said (to educate).

I don't understand why people are surprised either. That's the modern world – people want access to what they need 24/7 and are willing to pay for it. They need gambling, and they get it. I have seen few other games too, on shopping and educational apps but not on banking apps.
May be games are present in banking apps in foreign countries but its not happening in India yet.

There are spin on wheelsd, slots and many other games are present in the banking apps too, not directly from the bank but UPI and credit card payment apps like cred which they promoted themselves as cashback with spin on wheels, and now they are just trying with new Iphone or 100% cashback and many more when they never pay to anyone in real life not even the cashback they used to pay but like one or 5 rupee when we pay a payment of like 50K INR.

Indeed betting sites/platforms has taken over the Internet and just like what TryNinja said, only those gamblers who do not have self control will eventually fall for this. Indiscipline is what has foiled more gambling addiction. If you’re able to discipline yourself, no matter the number of time a gambling ads appears in your phone, you will not be tempted to want to gamble. Everything is turning into shit, that is what is happening. In a desperate attempt to engage people more and to steal more of their time and money, companies are getting extreme. Most of these mechanisms such as lootboxes should be outlawed as they prey on weaknesses in the human psyche. Almost no humans have developed any real defenses against them, that is why they work so well. Objectively analyzed, it is stupid of course. If you would not pay to get something then you should not pay for a lootbox for a chance to get it either. This being just one example.

Gamification has nothing to do with gambling. They can be utilizer together but gamification does not need to involve gambling or real funds.

I would guess you are from Nigeria, where bank have started to offer gambling services to their account holders. Here in Venezuela, we have not reached that level of gambling exposure, but I am worry it could happen and the effect it could have on children and teens.

Gambling laws are getting stricter in some countries. Gambling laws are not getting loose in most countries that gambling is accepted but just that the laws are not up to what it should be to some people. Also the law is not there to protect gamblers against ads and gambling addiction, it is gamblers that should protect themselves from addiction. People should not blame it on law but blame it on themselves. Some people will see stringent gambling law as unwanted.

That would be the craziest thing will happen especially that this is the least institution we ever think that will promote casino on their applications. Why now? if it’s an epidemic, it should have been banned long before. He doesn’t understand that the real problem isn’t gambling itself, but the irresponsible gamblers. so why do the responsible ones have to be dragged into this kind of general statement? Did we actually needed a youtuber to confirm this ? here in Romania we know this for 5 years already when literally 9 out of 10 ads or on gambling sides and every month a new betting agencies open it's doors in Romania ...so yea it's a full epidemic gambling problem around the world and no one has the guts to actually admit it.

Here in Romania , we give gambling licenses like we are giving hot bread on a cold day and I'm already tired of so many gambling agencies in my country and after watching Cofeezilla video ...I'm curious if any of the big streamers will actually have the guts to come live and speak open about it but wait , they cannot because they are still under contracts with stake , rainbet or any other company.

Yeah, I mean, that's what am saying. I have never seen it directly from a banking app. That would be something new.
Yes, I have seen it on credit card apps too and also on UPI apps but most of them are worthless.
I never really got anything useful out of them.
