I like your pattern, but don't forget to keep a budget when you're switching from testing to reality because the outcomes may not be as favorable as you thought, I would have preferred you tested out for at least 3 months before concluding you've an edge, but regardless of presumed excellence, always keep a budget because your trusted strategy may start failing you at a point, but with a budget and discipline, you'll not run into a financial mess.

This method can be used for testing, but from my experience, you'll likely get different results when playing with real money, because the higher bets, the more difficult it is to determine the bet. So if you want more realistic results, try everything you've discussed, but at least with the minimum bet. If you see statistically that you could be profitable, try increasing the bet, but be careful, as increasing the bet will also affect your results. Find a comfortable bet and move gradually.

I think this is relating to demo when it comes to trading. In trading, you practice with a demo account whose money is not real but fictitious from the platform and you trade with it to learn but I tell you the experience is not the same. The emotion involve in demo account is not same thing with real account. So likewise this kind of practice that you are advocating for gambling, it may end up being a waste of time.

Gambling and trading are not the same thing, in trading you need real trading training where you have to go practical and the money involved is bigger than gambling money at a go or on the spot. You can learn gambling by starting very small even as little as it is reasonably small in your country currency. I don't know of a gambler who used months to know how to gambling or put a gambling order, you only need few games or betting two/three times to master the system. Yes this is the closest one can test their abilities but it is also not just about being able to predict correctly. If you end up betting for real, you will also win real money and that might make you gamble a little recklessly because you would be excited to win more. It is still different once you finally get that money. Even if you think now that money will not change you, it is different once you experience it yourself.

I don’t really understand your comment. How can you use bankroll management if you’re not even betting? Whether it’s with real money or not, the point is to test your skills in sports betting. If it turns out positive, then go ahead and start betting for real. If not, maybe think about stopping  or just play for fun. It’s that simple.

I doubt that can help you that much since I have kept at least 5 years of spreadsheet details of all of the result of not only the top 5 major leagues in Europe but also many other leagues and it did not help me at all pass an achievable rate of being profitable during the long term. I can say based on that most likely you cannot decide a one month of data to help you be profitable in the long run, anyway maybe I am an idiot and I am not smart enough to pay attention to all the data collected so someone can become profitable at the long run. I have always used the data collected to bet on both teams to score as my main pick so most likely that is why it went wrong for me. one thing to keep in mind is that after doing this for as long as possible to minimize deviation, you should try it with real money. for example, you might get “lucky” for a week or two, but if you can stick with a method for a long time, say a few months, you'll realize it works, and you'll also train yourself to manage money.
