It always starts the same way.
You tell yourself, "I'll buy bitcoin later."
But later never comes.

That is what the procrastinating spirit does to you. it always tells you that the next time is always the best time to buy and then the next time that never ends continues to look like the next time to buy until it eventually ends in regret. if you cant discipline yourself to get started in your investment at the time you have the means of doing it, there is an high chances that even in the next time you have purpose to buy your bitcoin that you will eventually end up not buying it again.

regret does not in any way produce any result for an investor and so, failing to make the right decision when you should and then regretting later hurts you more and does no good to you at all.

I will definitely hire you someday to do some write up for me on a product or service I would wish to promote either here on this forum or outside the forum, you are nothing short of a bundle of talent and you did make a great poet if you did consider writing and publishing a series of books poetic books.

I am not new to crypto currency, I hold some bitcoins but reading this pushed something inside of me that instantly made me hungry to buy more bitcoins right now and not later, and now I have to worry about where to get more fiat, what and what and I have absolutely no need for anymore that I could sell off and use the money to buy more bitcoin.
I believe no one will be debating within himself whether or not to buy bitcoin, and he comes across a post like this that won't end up buying bitcoin instantly without any form of hesitation, kudos bud, what more can we do other than use our God given talent to promote the one thing we all love - Bitcoin.

This concept many people may not understand it, if people who come around bitcoin and go back under that bitcoin is like plant most people who come and go, including people who earn free bitcoin will not use their bitcoin immediately they earn..

The concept as per the OP is that in Tree terms a lot of people realise that we should have been planting Trees
to mitigate what is happening with the environment currently. Of course it is easy to see this with hindsight
and we cannot go back . . . so we should be doing it now

The same applies to Bitcoin, with hindsight we collectively realise later that Bitcoin is such a precious asset
and how it helps us mitigate what governments are doing with FIAT, we cannot go back to buy when we
would like so we should buy it now!

Buying Bitcoin is like planting Trees

I suppose in general terms the thread is about procrastination which has negative affects on
ones mind and body.

Everything which is made to make our lives comfortable and convenient is really designed to
trap us into wanting more which ultimately hurts our finances.

Like planting a tree, we naturally believe that we will get a return based on the time we spend on the investment. As you said, the time to invest in Bitcoin was 20 years ago. But it is still possible to invest. For example, if we had invested 20 years ago, we would have made a lot of money now. If we invest now and hold on for 20 years, the price of Bitcoin will have increased much more in the current 20 years than in the previous 20 years. So now is the time to invest. And I have already invested $1000, I will hold on for the next 10 years. Will this be my long term?

This is absolutely correct. I don't know if you will believe it or not, there are still many stupid people. I don't know if I would call them stupid or very clever, but to me it seems like they are nothing but stupid. Those who think that Bitcoin is a digital currency scam. Due to the increase in the price of Bitcoin, they are completely avoiding Bitcoin now. They will generate money from crypto, but no one will buy Bitcoin.

So, the other day, I was talking in a group where my topic was that Bitcoin and Gold Banana are never too late for you. There, I got a few replies that Bitcoin is a total scam and a financial scam. Which is basically not true at all. I couldn't convince them that as long as you believe in paper money, Bitcoin will not change a single inch. What I can tell those blindly believing people is really beyond imagination.

That's the point. The best approach has always been to start small and in doing so with consistency. We all should be glad that investing in bitcoin has been made easier through DCAing. Anyone who genuinely wants to invest in bitcoin has no excuse for not investing at all. If they claim that they are waiting for the perfect time to buy bitcoins, we should just know without stressing ourselves that they they are not ready to invest but just making excuses. There is no perfect time to buy bitcoins.

I see no reason for someone to delay their Bitcoin investment if they have the money for it. I mean, it's understandable if someone doesn't buy because they don't have a budget for it at the moment, but if someone has the budget, but are still delaying the process, then they are only going to miss the opportunity.

It's true that sometimes the market might favor those who don't buy when the market is high, and it may drop further for them, but that doesn't happen all the time. And, besides, someone who is willing to do DCA shouldn't worry about anything and should start buying as soon as they can, because they will still have a good average buying price in the long run.

I also share the opinion that now is a good time to buy bitcoin. About 10 years ago, when I first learned about it, it seemed to me like something unclear and risky, although very promising. I thought about it but didn’t buy any or try to find ways to earn it. If only I had known back then...

A lot of time users make topics complaining about how they should or could have bought BTC a decade or so ago, but they didn't. It is funny because that same person had five years ago to buy, or 3, or even last year. So why complaining when the fault is of your inaction.

Exactly what I say whenever I see people gnashing their teeth in regret why they didn't invest early. This same people won't say this or regret once price goes down. A lot of us in this space are so secretive to the point that our spouses don't even know what exactly we do online. To such people, their demise will only complicate things and increase hardship for their families despite their crypto stash.

Modern society will find a thousand reasons not to invest, putting their money elsewhere, and it's hard to convince them otherwise. They're willing to buy new clothes every season, even if those clothes look silly, but they'll do so for the sake of fashion that's become seasonal. Many also want to demonstrate their importance by buying the latest iPhone models, as if that's the only way to achieve personal dignity in society.

But I don't feel sorry for them. Natural selection favors those who are conscious and invest, not those who spend senselessly.
