I’m posting this to raise awareness about Sportbet.one and their failure to comply with basic responsible gambling standards.

I informed Sportbet.one clearly, through multiple email requests, that I needed to self-exclude due to gambling addiction issues. I made these requests before continuing to gamble, at a moment when I was vulnerable and actively seeking help.

Failure of Self-Exclusion System:

Sportbet.one relies on an automated self-exclusion system, which in my case did not work. When I informed them that I was unable to self-exclude through the system, they did nothing. Instead of manually closing my account or assisting me — which any responsible operator would do — they ignored my requests and allowed me to keep gambling and losing money.

To make matters worse, the casino applies a so-called 24-hour “cool-off” period. For someone already identified as a problem gambler, this is not a safety measure — it is dangerous. In my situation, those 24 hours only led to further loss and harm, and they were fully aware of this based on my emails.

Similar Cases Were Resolved where mine was simply ignored !!

There are three documented cases on casino guru where players in the exact same situation were fully refunded because the casino failed to act on email self-exclusion requests.
However, in my case, despite the same circumstances, they refused to apply the same fair resolution.

This shows inconsistent and selective behavior, not genuine responsible gambling policies.

No Cooperation With Their Licensing Authority:

I escalated this case to their licensing jurisdiction (Mwali) and the casino was formally requested to respond.
They never replied.
Not after weeks.
Not after months.
Not even after more than one year.

Their regulator couldn’t even issue a final verdict because the casino simply refused to cooperate.

This is not the behavior of a legitimate operation.

Conclusion

Sportbet.one knowingly:
• Ignored multiple self-exclusion requests from a vulnerable player
• Allowed continued gambling and losses despite clear warnings
• Used a faulty self-exclusion system without fallback protection
• Applied a harmful 24-hour delay, worsening addiction harm
• Refused to cooperate with their own regulator
• Selective refunds to some players, but not others in identical conditions

This is not an accident or misunderstanding — it is negligent and predatory behavior.

I’m sharing this to protect others. If you struggle with gambling and think this casino will take your safety seriously no no they will not !!

Stay safe. Do not trust the “responsible gambling” label at face value.

Would you mind providing evidence supporting your claims, like screenshots of your conversation with their support through chat, email, etc...?

When did this happen? You mentioned they have not responded to their license provider, even after more than a year has passed.

This happened back to 30th of June 2024 where I initially requested the self exclusion and acknowledging the gravity of my situation with a loss of control with my gambling habit. They neglected my requests where they were fully aware of the situation, which resulted unfortunately in furthrer loss of 2840 usdt between 6th and 7th of July 2024.

I officially raised the complaint end of 2024 to their license provider Mwali International Services Authority which seems not serious at all based on the reply I've been receiving from them. Attached you will find the two emails ( https://ibb.co/b5pD8Zy8

So at the end we have a crappy casino sportbet.one hidding on a crappy jurisdiction and there only goal is to scam further persons without caring about the player well being. Plus this casino has been suspicious where plenty of players reported confiscation of their won balance. Their only place should be prison so justice would be served. Don't play there guys ! Hands off and stay safe !

Yours can be different and not like that of others where they could respond so easily. In most times this cooling period only last for 24hrs or so and if you clicked on self-exclusion there should be an immediate effects and not allowing you to gamble anymore or even have access to site again. But when you noticed this behavior you could have exit the site than you continuing gambling, I have seen similar cases here where someone asked for self-exclusion and the action wasn't taken and, I don't think is from this casino you mentioned here but other casino. However, I never heard of this site you mentioned here instead I am more conversant with sportbet.io.. Wait did you found site here on the forum or you got it somewhere else?

Thanks for your message, I get what you mean.

Just to clarify though when someone is dealing with a gambling problem, “just exit the site” isn’t realistic.

In my case, I clearly emailed them saying I needed to self-exclude because of addiction, and they still let me continue gambling. I understand the automated tool might be the official process, but the real issue is the 24-hour cool-off. If a player already says they’re addicted and wants to self-exclude, giving them a delay is not protection it just gives them time to keep playing and lose more. In that situation, my account should be closed immediately, no exceptions.

Also, there are three other similar cases where the casino refunded players for the same problem and to answer your question yes, I did find the site here. Also I’m sharing this hoping other players would be aware and don't fall into their trap.

Ita something sad to read these news.
If you know to have gambling issues and you are owning crypto its much much more rely on your Keys/wallets than anything else. Plus ( not saying this Is your case) the fallacy of most of these system Is well known and probably even exploited...
If you cant exit the site lock your coins...

I get what you’re saying, but just to be clear well i must say that this isn’t about managing wallets or keys. When someone reaches the point of saying “I have a gambling problem and I need to self-exclude”, the responsibility shifts to the casino to act immediately.
Once a player declares they’re addicted, you can’t just say “lock your coins.”
Addiction doesn’t work like that ! and that’s exactly why self-exclusion exists to protect a player in difficult situation
The issue also here is that I asked to be excluded, their system didn’t work in favor of vulnerable person, and they did nothing to help. And that has already been recognized in three similar cases that were refunded due to the same failure with the cool-off period that does nothing but harms further.
