Either money is being involved or not, I will always gamble, am not doing it today because of what I stand to get from it in return, but having the understanding that it keeps me when entertained and I see its a lot of fun to do, but am wondering if the casinos will still be in operation by then, because they can't operate a business whereby money is no longer involved, how will they manage it and keep it running for free like that.

It’s not gambling if there’s no money involved. It’s considered as regular card game and we play that game without money with my friends whenever we hangout during my college days.

I did. I'm also going to casino (real one) to play and gamble, didn't actually hoping to win big or even I'm at loss it's fine since my goal to go there is to relax. Eat good first or let say have dinner then go to slots and hang out while drinking some beer or coffee whatever suits me while playing. If got bored transfered to poker table, I usually pick those low bet table that are available so I can game in.

I will not gamble again if there is no money involved. I can be using little amount to gamble but I like the feeling when I win and use the money for something, although I am losing than winning but it does not matter as long as I can afford to lose the money. I am winning and losing just small amount of money.

Gambling wouldn’t not be different from playing video games or watching a movie without the possibility of winning money. It would no longer be called gambling without risk and money at stake. I play mainly because of fun but the wins makes the game more interesting. It would be better for me to spend my time on something other than analysing and predicting games with no chance of getting a reward for my input. I would stop gambling because it's not worth it.

If no money is involved, it would be called gaming and not even gambling. Some people can still use it to have fun but in somewhere else and not on gambling sites because if no money is involved, people will stop visiting the casinos and bookmakers. I do not like the kind of games on gambling sites without money, it will also be very boring for me.

I stopped gambling when I realized my primary goal was money, not fun. I realized I was starting to lose control. After that, I took a huge break. After that, I began betting very rarely, literally a few times a year, or only with bonus money that could be won here on the forum.
Because the approach that gambling is purely for fun is absolutely correct. If that's no longer the case, then gambling as a whole ceases to be a good hobby that tries to present itself as a way to make money. But this is wrong, because luck is a fickle friend.

I`m in two kinds of gambling. Gambling for profit, that takes too much time and energy and gambling for relax. Let`s skip about profir and talk about relax.
After hard day i want to relax and today i have few choices: play football, visit a reataurant, drink beer(or something more serious) or play slots. Sometimes i`m too tired and have to choose between beer and slots. And i think that slots is not so bad for relax. Minimal bet, fixed time - small loses, good relax.
I think that i can play without money, but i decided long ago that gambling without money is like a zero alcohol beer and don`t try it.

I don`t need feeling of the win, but i need gambling like a tool for some my purposes.
PS. When i understood that i have no opportunity to continue betting in the same rhythm - i stopped instantly.

Yes. Take away the idea of gambling as a means to make extra bucks. Many people will continue gambling irrespective of the fact that they wont make any profit. The fun alone is enough for them. Aside from gambling, people do a lot of things to have fun where they spend money if not a lot of money from doing those activity. The stage where people play for the feeling has long gone and now, gamblers play for money and money alone. the aspect of fun that we are mostly talking about is becoming rather theoretical because you are playing against the casino and the system that is already rigged to an extent.

You need to revise your question IMO, how can you ask about "gambling with no money" while gambling is about risking money?
When money is not involved or there is risk or losing something or there is no opportunity to double money, it can be called as gambling.
When money is not involved, it is just a game not a gambling like you are playing tetris game or snake game in your mobile phone.

Almost everyone is saying they are playing for fun but the truth be told everyone is gambling for the money in pretence, if gambling was for fun and no money involvement I believe majority of people will quit gambling. I myself will not gamble, instead I will go to play video games maybe play station and all those fun game that will entertain me. A lot of people gambling gives a certain rush that has nothing to do with money it’s the excitement the tension of not knowing what’s next the quick heartbeat when the game is about to end or the slot is about to spin again sometimes even when the win is small the feeling itself is what hooks you it’s that dopamine hit that people chase without even realizing it. But like you said, if gambling had no money involved most people would probably stop because part of the thrill comes from the risk that little bit of danger knowing you could lose something makes the win feel more meaningful without that it becomes just another game nothing special. About playing for relaxation makes sense too for some people it’s not about chasing big wins it’s just their version of winding down after a long day like others would drink or watch sports but it takes self control to keep it that way once the bets start getting bigger or emotions get involved it stops being relaxing and turns stressful. stopping instantly when it no longer feels right that’s the best mindset knowing when to step away means you’re still the one in control and not the other way around.

Just to clarify, when you mean by money, does it involve any kind of currency or thing?

If we interpret 'money' as currency, then people would still gamble if there are other things to bet upon. The bet could either be a dare or something that corresponds to a favor and not particularly money. The essence of betting focuses on being put in a position where you could either win or lose. This unknown and uncertain feeling is what makes gamblers feel that adrenaline that they kept on searching.

Now if we STRIRCTLY interpret money which encompasses everything, then the essence of gambling would be defeated. Without no risk and reward to play on, gamblers won't even be called as gamblers because there is nothing to risk for.

Personally, I see gambling as a form of 50/50 where we risk something in return for something. Without this crucial element, then gambling wouldn't be the same- it's like playing on air and expecting nothing.
