We are holding Bitcoin for long term but I won't say that it offers "quick ROI".

This is where many newbie investors are hyped with. When people say that they can get that return quickly, they're investing without due diligence.

So they end up being surprised when they have bought at low price and then the price gets lower.

One way or another, BTC remains one of the few assets that perform well over the long term. Well, traders and investors who want to try their luck and make a quick profit will likely be more interested in investing in various alts that occasionally surge many times over in a short period and then crash back down.

You’re very correct, and I absolutely agree with you, I have bitcoin at a high esteem, bitcoin remains the best coin in terms of long term investments, I’m not going to say everything is guaranteed with bitcoin but in a situation that we have other options, long term is more appealing in terms of doing a long term investment.

Personally I see bitcoin as the main assets in terms of making investments with Bitcoin, and every cryptocurrency depends on bitcoin to thrive.

To be honest I like Bitcoin for long term investment because it offers a very quick return on investment. I also like Bitcoin for risk free investment because it allows you to save money for life. In the past people who bought Bitcoin and held it for a long time made huge profits. Many big institutions and investors are dreaming about Bitcoin and are announcing its price in millions of dollars. Again, different countries are holding Bitcoin as a reserve. So in terms of best currency and low risk Bitcoin is the best and you can be safe in the long run.

Bitcoin is the one true answer, while there are other coins that you could be interested in, that doesn't mean that you should leave bitcoin to the side. If you have some crypto, but no bitcoins at all, then you are making a big mistake. As long as you have most of your money in bitcoin, then you are going to do fine, and I personally believe that while it is going to be tough, it is not going to be impossible and we could make some money out of this as well.

This is why the best way to move forward would be buying up bitcoin. Since this is altcoin speculation, I will say that after you get bitcoin, look for trusted top 10 coins as well, both bitcoin and those other top ten should cover %90+ of your portfolio, then you can do silly small tokens for fun with the rest.

This is the reason I only prefer bitcoin for hodling, most of the coin will increase so massively but also drop massively, losing almost their entirely marketcap. I buy altcoins but in a way that I buy them with small amount of money when their price is low, I sell them when their price increase.

ETH is such a lackluster because it failed to breakthrough hence it's pretty bearish even for now, I partly blame it to the downward pressure caused by EF otc deal and capping ETH price, hence why people hesitated to buy ETH.
Even though I was very bullish but I was disappointed, now only holding exchange coins like HYPE, BNB, and others purely to seek profit.

I have a lot of coins in my mind that I wanted to invest in, but before then, I will have to steal maintain my bitcoin portfolio and some top altcoins and the profitable in them, while from some of these earnings I would have realized as profit, will then be channeled to other altcoin investments, while are we still maintain a minimum risk by notes accumulating my asset much on them because of uncertainties.

Bull run allows exchanges to be used a lot more, liquidity is higher, volume is higher and also prices are higher as well. I mean even a simple calculation of trading fee, if you trade 1 bitcoin, when the price of it is 60k then trading fee is smaller than when the price of bitcoin is 125k, meaning you traded 1 bitcoin in each case, but higher price meant you paid more trading fee in dollar value. So, it's clear that we are going to see plenty of exchange coins go up, because those exchanges are used a lot more during bull runs.

At this stage of the market, HYPE is one of the few altcoins that is performing exceptionally well, bucking the overall trend and still showing excellent potential for further growth.
As for ETH, investing in it should only be considered as a long-term strategy. In the short and medium term, it’s actually very boring from a trading perspective.

For a long term, I would choose cryptocurrencies that I can actually use throughout that period. For example, this could be the COCA token, where holding it would give me higher cashback on a crypto card provided by the token issuer. Or an exchange token, where holding it grants a discount on trading fees (provided I actually use that exchange actively and the discount is truly useful to me). Or DIEM, which offers a discount on using AI models.

In short, buy what you actually need and don't pay attention to the price.

Any other coin if not Bitcoin is not advised to hodl for long term. Altcoins are mostly for short term. Anyone who tries to give it a try on altcoins for long term, should have it in mind that profits are not guaranteed compared to Bitcoin.

We have seen how some coins went from being among the top coins to nowhere close to it, in many years to come. The coins you mentioned, do you think they will increase, not decrease in years to come

I remember those times I do invest on polka dots and cardano, not only them, but I still have a couple of other altcoins I consider during those period that I spread my investment on few selected coins and make my profit when the market pumps, do I will still have to maintain my bitcoin holding for now until when I am much convinced you as well considered some few altcoins for an investment till the alts season fully emerged.

For altcoins , I  don't have long term favourite but I have different altcoins I am holding right now, I have confident on those altcoins before the end of this year it will increase higher to dominate to cause altcoins holders to start earning income, bitcoin is my favourite coin I use to purchase every bearish season and hold for long term because that is what is creating opportunity for me to be bold to sell or trade to earn income, Sola is the coin I have invested what I can afford to lose and I believe the price will definitely going to increase soon to allow altcoins investors and holders to earn income again.

Whatever we do with altcoin, we must make sure that's we don’t trust any coin too much becasof our exposure to the entire cryptocurrency market and how it has played out over the year's, alot of the altcoins that most people invested into have generally failed to actually produce they desired profits and based on they time frame for that investment, altcoins are high risk crypto assets and we must be mindful of their risks.

The only most favorite of my all in cryptocurrency is Bitcoin because I can take it for a long time investment, while any other altcoins cannot be considered the same manner I would take Bitcoin, another thing to put in mind is that we can not completely do away without having interest in some of the altcoins, and this is why they can serve as a complimentary investment through our Bitcoin and we trade to them often and avoid a long time investment on a single project by holding it for too long.

For a coin like zcash zec that hard an all time high price of $5940 and now valued at $433 is shows that zec and there coins are as good as gambling and we shouldn't take those coins for long term investments since since they can offer a short term profits that could be missed by investors who may think of those coins as long term potential assets.

Of course, it’s not worth expecting ZEC to reach its ATH. In general, it’s worth noting that many traders and investors didn’t care about this coin at all because it had been languishing at the bottom for a long time until the hype surrounding it began last year. Personally, I wouldn’t compare ZEC to gambling, even despite the manipulation evident in its price chart, but it shouldn't be viewed as a long-term investment either.

There are some altcoins that have been in the crypto market for a long time now, and they look like long-term coins, but still, I don't believe in any of them. My only favorite long-term coin is Bitcoin, which is worth trusting for the long term.Many altcoins have come into existence and looked like they had a long term future, but later they were nowhere to be found because they were not able to survive.If anyone wants to invest in altcoins, they should not trust them for the long term. It's possible that there will be some altcoins that stay in the crypto market for a long time, but the fact is that they are very hard to find. That is the reason why I would not even advise anyone to aim to hold any altcoin for the long term.

ZEC chart is quite active, it's a good place to trade if you want to make profit with short term trading but holding ZEC only worth when the price was low and we are in bullrun.

I agree with you, ZEC wasn't really attractive investment until last year it was shilled by prominent crypto twitters. But right now there are many better coin with real PMF that brings in real revenue which also doesn't have risk of being force delisted due to regulation and AML enforcement.
