If i agree with casinos` conditions - it means that i agree with their rules. And it doesn`t matter fair it or not. Yes, i don`t like odds, i think that it can be unfair. But i always have a choice - to bet or to skip the event. The same with the casino. I can choose another one if i don`t like it. And rather often i choose the best odds between few casinos on one event. There is some competition between casinos - which one gives the best conditions for gamblers - attract more gamblers, get more profit.

It works in two ways. Casino can cheat the gamblers, but the same time it have to attract gamblers and it have to improve itself, decreasing "cheating level".

Not all casinos and bookmakers are the same. I know that most casinos and bookmakers always put profits in front and can manipulate the system to favor them because they control the house hedge. A case happened recently with Winna casino where the gambler won $80k on black jack and they claimed that he was counting card. They didn't pay him but gave him only $5k. There's a discussion we had here before and it was about the reputation of casinos and bookies, most people believes that a reputable casino doesn't involve in cheating because if discovered, it's going to cause them their business. I also believe it true, a reputable casino will definitely want to retain their customer and even increase the numbers of customers they get, so they won't restrict people's account and claim their money without any cause for that. Anyone saying that casino and bookies is not a fair money is probably referring to scam and non reputable casinos who are always in the act of stealing players money through different ways such as rigging the games.

"Dishonest money" in what terms exactly? Is it in the money they themselves are making, or is it in the money they pay out to their users (winners)?

If you what you mean by "dishonest money" is in the money the casinos is making? Well, i honestly do not know what to say, but I sure know that it's not just casinos, majorly every business around the world including that which me and you run or patronize offline all have their ways of making money, the money we hold in our hands, spend everyday goes through many hands before it enters ours, and even after it leaves our hand, it will go through many other hands as well..

The money that comes into your hand must have been in the hands of armed robbers, kidnappers, human traffickers, drug dealers, corrupt policians and so on.
If we careless about all of this, what sense does it make caring how casinos make their money? Or whether their money is dishonest money or not. So long as the casinos are not directly scamming their users, I believe there is no problem.

In my experience casinos have been fully transparent when it comes to sharing your chance of winning but individuals simply cannot model the statistics at the right scale in their head. A casino outright tells you that if you deposit $100 and play forever, they will at some point take all of that money. You might double up early on, but that is not enough for most gamblers who will simply blast through it and run down to zero balance. There will be some casinos out there that abuse that trust and don't give you exactly the odds they claim, but that's bad business because your customer is less likely to come back if they feel something is off.

What I noticed is that many gamblers are also very dishonest, they will open multiple accounts because they want to cheat, but they will later be seen doing that. Another things is that some will gamble from a region that the gambling site restricted from gambling, but they will not listen and use VPN. I use only reputable sites and my account has not been blocked or banned before.

Yes but not all of them, I've witnessed some gambling sites where they even have in their terms that they have the right tolock and block the account without explanation or something like that, which is for me is a total BS, the gambling site do at least need to have a reason to block/lock the account.

I also witnessed some gambling sites where they don't block the user from signing up even though they can tell if the user can play on the site or not based on the IP or jurisdiction of the player and once the players is winning, they will block and confiscate the user's winnings and deposit.

But just like what I've said, not all of them. Most gambling site are fair casinos, some do block the IP of the user so they won't be able to sign up, some of them have a clear information when they will ask KYC or if they will block/lock the account and some of them offers to refund the player's deposit instead of taking all their bank roll. I think the only acceptable unfair in the casinos were their house edge both casino and sports betting since that's the only way they're making profit in the platform.

I don’t really see casinos as “dishonest money,” they just built the system to win more than they lose. That’s how business works.

I mean... Because a casino to get into the market, they need to get green lit, that is specially true for brick and mortar casinos, so they need to comply with regulators before and during their operations. If they do and people accept terms of service, then it is pretty safe to say their profits are fair.

In the case of online cryptocurrency casinos is kinda different, but still people end up accepting their terms of service and playing provably fair games on their platform. I would only say it is not honest money of the casino directly rigs their games or scams their users.

I think most casinos are fair in the sense that they have games with specific odds, and they pay if you win.

Now, the odds they provide are pretty bad for the gambler, but they never said the odds were good.

We don't know if they are fair or not but if you think like that, you need to be careful selecting the casinos and bookmakers. But not all of them do that because it is related to their popularity. Once they do that, they will lose popularity and members will leave them without wanting to return. Casinos really realize about this and don't want to do something that can harm their popularity. Out of all the practices mentioned here I have only been faced with that of winning to much money, some ex colleagues of mine were playing many years ago in bet365 and once they passed well over 3000-4000 Euros of profit their account was frozen without a valid explanation as why they did so. I like that from many years we have now crypto casinos, fairly transparent and I am talking about only trusted and well established ones here, you will never get anything suspicious out of such casinos, everything will be written in their terms of service. Now when someone goes and play in not well recognized casinos all of such practices may take place so the best one can do is stick to reputable ones.

Well, you are right though, I also have played on a newly launched online local casino here in my country, they were running ads at the time and as a result, they were in the lips of almost every gambler, since this was a casino that was well talked about, I decided to give them a try, I signed and made some deposits and started playing, in a couple of minutes, the entire money I deposited was gone.
I then made another 2x deposit of the amount I first made, and in another couple of hours, the entire money was also gone without a single win, I knew at that moment that something wasn't right with that casino, I closed it, deleted the app from my phone and never visited there again till date..

It is true that some casinos are sure using dubious means to earn/make money from gamblers, but they can only be accused of this if caught, but as long as we have not caught the casino, their operations remains justified.

Honestly, I don't know whether casinos and bookmakers are honest or not. One thing I do know is that the percentage of losses is much higher than wins, which also means that most of the profits go to the casinos, not the gamblers.

However, I've had a few frustrating experiences like the one you mentioned, OP. When I managed to win big, like 100x my stake, my account was suddenly frozen, and support didn't respond to my complaints. Several of my friends have experienced the same thing. I think some are fair while some are not, because running a casino is already a very profitable business. If they still try to cheat, that’s way too risky as once their reputation is destroyed, their business is basically over.

No no no.. Take casino to do a business venture. You want to buy a goods, the seller tells you the price and you dont agree to it. You have the right to accept or reject the price. If the you do not like the seller, you can as well switch to another seller , to find one that suits your desire. The same thing goes to casinos and bookmakers. We were not forced to stick to their rules, odds difference and terms and condition. We have the option to quit gambling with a a particular casino or stay with them if we noticed they are unfair.
