Welcome to the new crypto scheme where people who claimed to be men of God are using Gods name in vain, people do evil this days without the fear of God, how are they sleeping at night? Many men who claimed to be pastors and men of God have entered YouTube between 2024 and 2025, telling newbies that God told them to buy a special coin named whatever and they rugged on all their followers.

Before I heard this news of rug from a friend I have been seeing such videos on YouTube, but I questioned everything, been the type of person that I am, i asked why would God have anything to do with cryptocurrencies?  Someone in the comment section sent to me that "God is in everything we do", I am a true believer in Christ myself but it doesn't feel right and I moved on, I knew deep down that this makes no sense, but today millions of dollars are lost..

I tried to find two of them pastors on YouTube today and I couldn't find them any longer. They must have deleted their channel and run away but I found many more with a simple search on YouTube " pastor crypto ".

Clear red flag when it comes to investing is when someone uses God as part of the pitch.

So this guy is a pastor? if he has a lot of followers, for sure many will blindly trust him. and if he fails in his investment, it’s easy for him to convince people that it’s God’s will. we already know it’s a scam, but we can’t deny the fact that there will always be people who will blindly follow.

The same Bible admonishes us to test every spirit to know if they be of God or not.  a spirit that takes concern over what's happening in the crypto space rather than what is happening to the souls of men is clear a false spirit and there is no two ways about that. i have not seen the source of this post to be sure that the person whose picture is displayed actually said that but one thing i always advice people is to flee from any form of ignorance be it religious or technology wise.

Actions that logically should not need to be followed. I only believe that people who are close to their religion will surely have good thoughts, not misleading ones. This will be very common in Africa, I have heard and read about something like this coming from Africa. They are only testing God and which is very bad. What if what he says become not true? Religious followers are too lazy to read their Holy Book, so they end up depending solely on their leaders. They sheepishly follow these leaders even when they are saying absolutely rubbish.

Perhaps they want to be rich but are unwilling to make the effort to become rich. That's pretty bad. It's even worse when the perpetrator knows that the other party doesn't know much about crypto. It's even worse when the perpetrator knows that the other party or victim is eager to get rich quick.

If the serious problem lies in people's unwillingness to learn, then we have reached a point where we can no longer help them. Even if we continue to advise them, it is a waste of our time and energy on something that will not be useful.
