Just graduated, wanna get into blockchain — any advice?

Hey guys, I just graduated from college. During school I got into Bitcoin and some other crypto stuff, did some small investments, but honestly the returns were not really enough to support my daily life.

So now I’m hoping to find a job in the blockchain space — I wanna contribute to the industry while also earning enough to keep investing and, well, survive 😅

But to be real, I feel like most of what I learned in university doesn’t really help much when it comes to getting a job. So I’m kinda lost. Where should I start? What skills should I build first? How do people actually get into this industry?

Would really appreciate any advice from folks who’ve been in the space for a while 🙏

 You mentioned doing some small investments that weren't fruitful for you while in school so you want to still go into it now you're done? Well hate to break it to you but if you felt that the investments you made weren't enough or couldn't make you rich like you expected, what gives you the feeling that you might have the patience to venture into another crypto related activity? Or if I'm to make excuses for you, probably it didn't pan out because you were busy in school and have plenty of time now you're out, right?
 Well, if you think now that you have time , you can still do something like trading or you could venture into mining if you know how it works or since you're here, you can exercise patience and learn.
 You're very much new here so asking you to join a signature campaign is out of the equation cause that's another way to earn since if we're being honest that's the main reason you want to know about the Blockchain.

Ofc not!! Bitcoin never gave  short terms returns for anyone to support daily  life lol

Everyone who became rich with bitcoin hold it for 5+ years! In a much earlier time... you won't become rich with bitcoin now. You can give up this idea.

If you want to work with crypto, you probably should have a computer science degree. If you didn't, things will be much harder for you.

You need to learn by your own. Just go to coursera or some other platform like that , buy basic courses, learn how to code and then try to find a job. Not an easy task. There is no easy money in this life.

Find job at cryptocurrency? I think easily exactly you have been graduated but you must speak or writing skill well in English language, nowadays many new project looking for the brand ambassador to handle telegram channel, discord and many social media cryptocurrency project coins. My friend worked at one top project coins and handled only discord channel earn more enough salary payment with working duration around 6 to 8 hours in daily day.
In the forum have many thread review about any project and you can follow it with reward up to $10 to $60 depend how quite well your review, if you have decision and want to working hard I don't think difficult for your self looking for opportunity or job in cryptocurrency and save as much capital for trading and or investing in bitcoin. You need more patience waiting for stable job at cryptocurrency and you must active update telegram channel all chance to earn in cryptocurrency.

This topic shouldn't be here but in the Beginner and Help section. So you should start by moving it there.

For your question, I think you have to start by learning everything you could learn about Bitcoin in particular and cryptocurrency in general. Learn how blockchain technology works and keep your eyes open with respect to the prospects and how you could take advantage of your knowledge to earn in the industry. Irrespective of the skills you have, there is something for you because this community is just like any other where with some skills you can earn. Then bear in mind that Bitcoin is not just about making money but granting freedom to people to take charge of their finances.

I Iove the bold step you are taking to come into the blockchain and the crypto industry, although it's a vast and broad space where different niche of knowledge saves you and gets you profits wherever you apply them.

If you ought to learn more about the technical skills and non technical skills in the space, it would be good.
