I feel Nigeria should be governed by military government until we are matured enough to operate on democratic government. Considering the situation of the country, it is obvious that military government has favoured us more than civilian government.

During the military government, Nigeria was some how focusing on industrialization, most facilities that is generating revenue for Nigeria today were put in place by the military government, for instance the three refineries in Nigeria were built during the military government, Port-harcourt refinery, Warri refinery and Kaduna refinery, including Eleme petrochemicals which they have privatized and is now answering Indorama, the military government built NAFCON Onne, they exterblished operation feed the nation, now answers Obasanjo farm, military government also exterblished Ajaokuta steel industry, as the list is too numerous to mention. The military government exterblished virtually everything that this country is enjoying today.

Now, I want to ask, has industrialization stopped during the military government? As much as I know, a nation cannot grow without industrialization and during the military government, all these facilities were working in full capacity, now that we are in democratic government, no industrialization any longer, instead what the leaders does is to carry the nations money to esterblish their own companies outside the country Nigeria, and at the same time sell the existing facilities to themselves.

During the military rule, Nigeria was not succeptible or prone to long time insurgency or insecurity challenges, as the military government is known for their discipline and efficiency, they would always act very fast and make quick decision to combat any form of insecurity challenge.

Nigeria democratic government is unlike the military government, they are very slow when it comes to carry out actions and the level of corruption in this democratic government is extremely very high compared to military government.

Comparing Nigeria democratic government with those of the developed nations, it is clear that we are not matured enough to handle democratic government and therefore, should embrace military government that is more beneficial to our nation Nigeria.

What is your take on this topic.

Going back to military government is supposed to be the answer to the challenging issues affecting the country now but confused because of the wide range of corruption  that have even extended there hands even beyond the military body making all government sector considered as a failed sector which the solution could only be revolution and total mindset revamping without any consideration.

Nigeria we see today are recognized as a country with some government owned structures which generates profits and brings little relief to the challenging issues in the country all because of the military government that handed over power before 1990. Examples of the structures developed during the military era are : all nonfunctional government Refineries, Abiokuta steel mill, delta steel factory, good road network, national stadiums, national Airports and sea ports  and many more.
If the military government have done all this to the country, what then did the Democratic government did for Nigeria instead of stealing public funds
