Does time actually affects you more than the money you uses to gamble?

I have no idea if people consider gambling as time consuming.

I know it require time for gambling, but is there anyone can give me an example of activity without need to consume time? Every activity require time and if you think gambling is something that consume a lot of your time, I feel bad to you because you will use your whole life to work since you consider everything must be about productive/add value.

Gambling doesn't affect me, it's all about time management.

I don't think gambling takes up our time, it is a useful way to pass the time, and provide entertainment, so, I feel any useful activity isn't time-consuming. However, we must manage our time wisely, or we can use a priority scale method to determine which activities should be prioritized. I think gambling can be considered the last option, as it is not really a priority in our daily lives. Essentially, we must manage our time well, as you mentioned, especially when it comes to gambling.

We need to take some time off and more importantly let some steam off, or perhaps simply distract ourselves for a short while. Gambling can be a fun distraction but it can also become an addictive habit which costs you your entire paycheck, month after month. We have to hold ourselves to a certain standard of self-discipline otherwise we cannot really call ourselves responsible adults.

What I learned from gambling is never to prioritize it. If you have the time and the money, then go for it. Never gamble if you have important things to do, and never use cash just because you have the time to gamble.

Gambling should be the least of your priorities after you've done the most important thing of the day, and after you pay all the bills and purchase all the necessities you need, and there is time and money left, then that is the only time you will gamble.

This is a fair point, some people has limitations of either time or money. There are those with money but no leisure time, others has time but are not able to risk so much. For a lot of people, not having funds is the highest limitations as gambling without balance is not possible. The same way we value our money should be applicable to our time, because time is also money, what we all do with our time differs from each other, we should not allow other things of no value take much of our time, because we could utilize it on other things being productive on us, as for me, my time is as important as my money used to gamble.

Time is very essential to everyone on this terrestrial plane, time can be said  to be money, so there are people who doesn't joke with it. Relating the concept time to the question you asked, gambling requires time and attention, you need to sit down and focused on your selections, you study the odds, statistics and team performances on any team or your favorite team you want to gamble with.

In our daily activities we need time to schedule our functions and what we want to do for the moment, so time is very paramount and it requires we make judicious use of it. If time is a big concern of yours when it comes to gambling then there is a good chance you're doing it a bit too much. I dip in and out of betting but usually just keep it over the weekends which has the most leisure time available. It takes a few minutes to place sports bets and then you can watch the game with a bit more excitement, beyond that I never really give it much thought. It takes very little time to scan through the bookmaker odds, but I've never really been drawn towards regular casino games. If you do not have the ability to budget for gambling each month due to a lack of self control, then maybe it is better just to avoid it altogether, otherwise it becomes a bit of a curse and will draw you deeper in all the time.

Both the time and the funds aren’t always my problem. Am not the type that do gamble with huge amount of money, I always gamble with little amount of money which I know if I lose, it’s not going to affect me. Also I have time for my job, and I have time for relaxation, so whenever am relaxing, that’s when am always gambling. I don’t know how people will claim that time is their problem, because I know that whatever work which you are doing, you are suppose to have time for relaxation, and you can decide to gamble during that period.

Time is very precious. Time is money,  for me and really busy that I find it difficult to even spare time to gamble. To me time is very vital, it is only those that doesn't have a source of income that will see that time isn't really important. The only thing that do hinder them from gambling is lack of funds . Most of this people do spend the whole of there time thinking about gambling  since they don't have other means of making money. The time spent in gambling can be put to useful means of making money .

Money will be the most factor that is stopping a lot of people from gambling, and if it is not money, then they just don’t feel the need to and not showing interest into it. The main purpose why many people gamble is because of money, so if they already have the money, they will not be compelled to spend more time to think about gambling. Only those that gamble for fun will have money and still look into gambling, but for most they won’t again. So basically, money is the main factor that people do gamble and if you don’t see them gamble, then they don’t have that little amount of money they’ll spare to bet with. Time can be created anytime for what you deem fit necessary for you, so time is not the deciding factor in this regard for me.

Yes,  my job requires me to focus on monitoring which drains a lot of my energy looking at computer so I have less motivation to keep looking on screen for gambling when I’m home.

During the weekends or a few minutes screen time before getting sleep just place some sports bet is sometimes I can do due to my limited time.

In gambling, we agree that profit (money) is what we desire. And when someone gambles and their bets turn a profit, they might gamble longer, either by sticking with their current bet or increasing their bets to achieve a bigger win.

If a person gamble responsibly, this thing won't be a problem to him nor affect him that much resulting to frustration or stress.  Responsible gambler will gamble if they have fund and time and won't gamble if they are missing one of those.  This way he keeps himself away from negative harm of forcing oneself to gamble.

I don't let my gambling urge dictate what I have to do. If I have the funds and time, then I will gamble; if I am missing one of those, I'll just wait patiently until these two, time and funds, are present in my arsenal, then gamble away until I run out of funds or reach the time limit of my gambling session.  After all, I gamble for fun to release myself from stress, and is ready to lose fund in exchange for the leisure. It would be fun to win, but its ok if my bankroll gets depleted before my planned session time expires.

The real obstacle is regulation. Regulations vary from country to country.
I live in a Muslim-majority country, which automatically prohibits gambling.
However, illegal gambling sites are becoming more commonplace every day to trap greedy players.

I'm not a gambling fanatic because I understand the risks and the pain of losing.
Another factor holding me back is the lack of time, and it's not a habit.
I'll only gamble when there's an event or when I win a raffle from a gambling campaign, but I never deposit my own money.

I think my lack of interest usually keeps me away, and sometimes, I can go a month without attempting to gamble. I don't see gambling as a priority, or something important, so I don't keep up with it often. I don't think funding has ever been a problem considering the fact that I don't even bet much. Choosing to bet on rare occasions has really been helpful.

The thing is, failing to maintain a level of discipline might actually lead to a long term problem. It's best not to be committed, than to be committed and also struggle with the actual problems that comes with consistent gambling.

We're the same, as long as I have some spare money to gamble I won't feel bad of gambling with it and even if it lose that's okay for me. Whenever I gamble, I make sure that it's also my free time, I don't have any conflict with my schedule and so as the budget that I have. Because if I have other important things to do and yet I want to gamble, I'll make sure that I finish first the other commitments that I have before gambling. It's what we call responsible gambling and we're not sacrificing important matters just to gamble.

What that makes me not to gamble more is time, I do not have enough time to gamble. But when I have the time, I may lose the money I am using to gamble fast and that is where time also can be part of it. It is prudent to set time limit concerning gambling as it can be used to regulate the behaviour. When you are willing to overlook the fact that you only gamble on weekends and then quit once you have won, you consider gambling as entertainment rather than something that you need. This trend makes the losses affordable and does not impact on the day to day life. Time here is a natural buffer, that would off-set pleasure with the need to take personal responsibility in regard to your finances and your mental state.

Thinking about time, I can only remember that guy gambling while driving the bus in Philippines (if I remember the country correctly). He didn't have time, but still managed to gamble somehow, despite it being totally irresponsible from him. That is an example of extreme addiction case. People who are addicted don't respect the environment where they are, doesn't matter how inappropriate it is for the behavior attached to their addiction.

They go against all moral norms and guidelines in order to practice their impulses and have pleasure. And it isn't so unusual like some people may think. Take another addictions as example. From times to times you hear about people who have sex in public places. The impulses are so strong and their ability to resist is too low, that they go for it without thinking on the following consequences.

Not time or money disrupts me from gambling, I'm always active when ever I want to unless I have exams, practical or research project that I'm handling in school which won't give me time to focus on the casino, that's when I will not gamble as usual but if it's on normal level, I am betting on different games regularly because I make analysis and check scores frequently, so I see good games to bet on always. Even if I'm broke, it's not to the extent of lacking above  $2 on my hand or my casino account which I can still win something out of it.
