Yep, that's true. I often notice that people even boast that they spend little money on gambling (they play responsibly!), but at the same time they are constantly busy analyzing bets, the state of teams, different strategies and discussing/testing them. I even catch myself doing this sometimes  If you add time costs to monetary expenses, the final result will be very serious. This must be understood objectively to avoid self-deception.

It's actually a nice angle to look at things from, sure a person can claim that their gambling life is under control and they wouldn't be wrong since they perfectly control how much of their money they gamble with but what they have no control over is how much time they give/lose to gambling especially for sports gambling where they have to analyze so many different factors in order to determine how the game is eventually going to end and in the process of doing this most of their days are spent solely on this and believe me that's a different kind of gambling addiction.

Losing  a lot of time is still better than losing a a lot of money, though, don't you think? I agree that being constantly busy analyzing bets, the state of teams and different strategies isn't good thing, but if at the same time you are increasing your debt by thousands(or even hundreds of dollars, which can also be unbearable for some people) that's much much worse.

Anyone that spends a huge amount of time and money gambling is not doing it for entertainment purposes...some claim to gamble casually but they wnd up spending hours gambling, that's not something that a responsible gambler would do...Time is very important because the more of it you spend also equals the more amount of money that you also spend gambling as well

Yes, this applies, but when you play other things that don't have to do with money, like the PS5, or things like that, believe me, things take a long time There are also games that are monetized and take a lot of time, I'm talking about 6 to 12 hours playing, although it's a different kind of effort, but in casinos you should play quickly and intelligently.

When I have funds to gamble, that won't affect me as much as I know that I have money to gamble with. But if it affects my time and I become inefficient, that's the time that I have to rethink of my actions. Because if I am gambling and the effects are no longer in line with my goal why I've gambled. Money can be earned again through work or side hustles but time once wasted is gone for good & you can’t get it back that’s why I really try to keep gambling casual & controlled only as a form of entertainment & not a priority. Once it starts eating up too much of my time, affecting my focus at work or stressing me out it’s no longer fun anymore it already becomes a burden. I’d rather use my time to rest, improve myself or spend it with family and friends then just gamble when everything is in balance and I’m in the right mindset.

While it is true we all use time in order to get money (usually by working a determined number of hours), there are people who do not need to work and still get affected by time and not money, they are a minority though.
The majority of us have some spare time everyday and not enough money to gamble as much as we wanted, so we need to remain within whatever gambling budget we have already established.

Even rich people can get into poverty because of gambling addiction and those with much spare time can end up getting busy because situations they cannot control.

And time is one of the most expensive parts of everything since it can never be replaced; money can be won back, but one thing which makes most people not calculate time when talking about what's spent in gambling is because they could have also used that time for other things not serious as long as it's not their working hours.

Indeed, the ideal is to spend less time, bet less money, but win more for big gains. This is how it should be.

But we fully understand how gambling works; it can't be that perfect. There are bound to be obstacles, and there are bound to be wiser choices. If you're faced with the choice between losing more times or losing more money, it's actually better to lose more times (if you lose more times but gain more money, that's no problem, right?)

It's different if you lose more money (even if it's only a short time but you lose so much money all at once), well, that's just as stressful.

Only if they are not developed a compulsive gambling as a habit, because they will always finds a way to do that and they can use anything as an excuse and no one in the world is really that much busy so it's possible even if they are stuck in a tight schedule. But for others it can be a good distraction that is why it is important to balance our life style with all kinds of activity and obsession over one thing is never going to be good for our mental health which is not just limited to gambling alne.

Playing games that don't involve money can not be called gambling because their is no reason why you must take it very seriously.
Gambling is not for everybody that thinks they can make money from putting their funds into games that can make them win.
Your ability to take risk is what is going to make you profitable from gambling and their is no many ways behind that.

Time is very precious. Time is money,  for me and really busy that I find it difficult to even spare time to gamble. To me time is very vital, it is only those that doesn't have a source of income that will see that time isn't really important. The only thing that do hinder them from gambling is lack of funds . Most of this people do spend the whole of there time thinking about gambling  since they don't have other means of making money. The time spent in gambling can be put to useful means of making money .

Anyone that's busy with work wouldn't have time to gamble. Like you said, the jobless and lazy people are the ones that gamble frequently, because they think gambling is a means of income.They gat all the time to gamble which is the main reason why majority of jobless gamblers are addicted.

I believe every gambler needs to have the understanding that the gambling market is always there for us, and we will never miss our opportunity through the game we are unable to play. otherwise the idea of being affected due to the funds/time needed for gambling, which we're unable to have, will lead to the making of wrong decision

Hmm. Are you sure you only gamble just to catch the thrill, and trying your chance at winning some funds is not included? Because the last time i checked very gamblers gamble for these particular reasons.
