Do you have these three elements when you want to gamble?

There are three elements I can think of that I should have before I start betting:


MONEY;
Of course, you need money to bet. Signing up for a casino is free, but betting costs money unless you want free bets, and you are limited to the casinos that you can find online.

TIME;
To enjoy your gambling experience, you have enough time; your time should be commensurate with the money you have.

MOTIVATION;
To fully concentrate on your enjoyment and your chances of winning, you need to have motivation; it's not worth spending your time and money if you don't have the motivation to gamble.

I make sure that I have all of these elements before betting, how about you do you have all these three elements before you start betting?

The one I do not really have is the time, but I have the little amount of money that I am using to gamble which I can lose and not be unhappy about. I also have the motivation but because there is little time for me to gamble, it is just during weekends or sometimes I may not just gamble.

Yes, it's important that you have these three elements before you start: time, money, and motivation. I don't know how you can enjoy the game without any one of the three.

This is why I do my betting on the weekend: this is when I have time. After all, it's my day off, I already have my weekly salary, and I feel refreshed waking up late, so I'm motivated to log in and bet. I'm excited to play when I have these three.

Perhaps time is the element that you really need since a 3 losing streak bet usually won’t break a motivation to bet instead it makes gambler eager to bet more until they experienced a win.

The lack of time to play makes you less tolerant on the losses since you have something to do aside from gambling.

I’m on this same situation before that work overload my whole time. I have less appetite to gamble even if there’s a lot of cool promotion available since I have my job priorities over an entertainment.

Money and time is enough or even sometimes when you don't have time, as long as you have money there is no need to be motivated just for us to gamble. But we have different ball game on how we're making the most of both, time and money. When we've got time to gamble, even for as low as we have, that's already enough to enjoy. And that's why even I don't have any motivation to gamble, and I only want to have some fun and looking to pastime, I have the two elements of it and that two is always needed to be together for us to gamble.

Of course I have all 3 elements, but sometimes my time is quite limited because I am always busy with work but I don't see the problem as big, on the contrary I am lucky enough to have a lot of time spent on work, this can keep me from gambling addiction and gamble responsibly, I also don't bet too big, just bet small, that's enough to make me have fun on the weekend.

It depends though. Time is a variable factor and some people will even argue that time spent also portrays addiction since they could say addicts spend more time than normal. As for motivation, personally for me it's what keeps me playing for a while else for sports betting you can just make you prediction and disappear till it's time to cash out.

As for money I'll say everyone has their budgets. And that should be a factor of what you are capable of and willing to actually risk.

There are lots of elements you have to have in order to start gambling in the right manner: discipline, responsability, self-control, a budget you can afford to lose, objectives, wisdom... All those elements are important in gambling and can't be neglected, even though many gamblers don't take them into consideration, what ends leading them to addiction, severe losses and a sense of defeat in life, besides destroying their families and social relationships.

I don't think I have any of these, definitely I'm completely out of this, lol. For me though, I'm not to strong and I can easily quit gambling when I noticed or see that my losing are starting increase, because I don't think I can be motivated at this point of continual losing, so definitely I need to take relevant precautions when gambling. For the time, I do have some spare time, but I don't think it is enough to gamble consistently.
And the next thing which is the last, and that is the money, for me I will say, genuine gamblers only do it responsible with the money they felt that is not actively used or should I say an extra money, I don't think I have such money to gamble with.

I just need money and time, I don't really need to get motivated to gamble..basically this motivation comes from seeing someone else winning from gambling but that's not what drives me, I just gamble because I want to and it's fun for me but being motivated by a thought ot something else doesn't really work for me...The important things you need here is just time and money, having all the time without money is useless

Of course almost everyone gambler because they are motivated with the amount they do hear about people winning, I think what should fit-in should be "Passion or Zeal" instead of motivation. Already as we know something keeps motivating people to gamble which is the money they should be winning while gambling, but when we talks passion or zeal, there are people who doesn't have that zeal to gamble but through what they had heard someone won from gambling could be as source of motivation to gamble which will make them indicating that interest to gamble. Moved down to money/time; these two things or elements as you said, is what actually makes up gambling and you can't gamble without having money, and also you can't gamble without you having that free space to predicts and do your analysis thoroughly while gambling. But the most important one is money, when you don't have money while gambling it seems like you are blind and you want to walk across where there is hazard.

I think we are both on the same track, because motivation is not really needed for me to gamble, time and money is enough for me to gamble, because if you can be able to gamble you need to have money very necessary,  and you still need time to enable you take your time, and predict your games since you have cary some statistics and check others things before you can finally predict what you feel is good for you, and if possible you also need time to watch yours games play so that you can take note of the teams performance just incase you want to make another predictions on same games next time.

Yes, I don't have enough money to gamble, but I have enough money to meet my daily needs, save money, and increase my monthly investments. I don't have enough money to gamble, but I always make sure to only gamble after all my needs, savings, and investments are met. And if, indeed, the money I earn is not enough to meet my needs and obligations, then I'd better stop gambling. The same applies to time. I can only gamble after my tasks and obligations are complete, and if I have to work overtime or work on holidays, I have to give up my intention to gamble again. I dont have the time and motivation. I gamble whenever I feel like, wherever and only gambling to make some few bucks. The only thing that requires my time, money and motivation is what I do to earn an honest living. Money meant for gambling should be money you do not have serious plans for. It can come at anytime and you can spend it on whatever you want to.

It's quite difficult because I have to work and very little time to play, because gambling requires focus,

Just having money is not enough to start gambling, you may have money but the money is suppose to be used in gambling. What a gambler requires to gamble is a steady source of income with this you can decide to use a little amount to gamble.

If you dont have the right money that can be used in gambling and if you end up go into gambling it can be an experience full of regret. If you dont have source of income their is no need to gamble,  you dont expect people with no source of income to use the money they manage to have for gambling.

I have enough time and enough motivation to participate in gambling, but the thing that should come first is money, I don't have enough money. There are also many gamblers who have enough money and motivation but not enough time to participate in gambling. It is very important to have all the elements, but it is very difficult for everyone to have these three qualities together. If you have time, you don't have money. If you have money, you don't have time. If you have money and time, you don't have motivation.

I have the motivation and money but time is always crucial for me and I believe to everyone here that do have a job on daily basis.

I’m always struggling to find time to insert gambling for entertainment because after work there’s a social life and family quality time. During the pandemic and a year after pandemic is my golden days on gambling  since I have a lot of free time for entertainment purposes.

I don't think that much time should be spent while gambling because in most cases that is where addiction begins to come in because spending so much time while gambling can make you spend a lot of money and run into many losses. Of course we need money to gamble but we should just make our predictions and bet according to our bankroll and not exceed it. Everyone that plays gambling are being motivated either by the win of others or just a way to have some fun but you don't need much motivation since you are literally gambling for fun and don't care whether you win or lose.
