All services have special perks for those kind of users, exchanges, casinos etc. They are the ones who are putting in a lot of money, way more than the average user, so there is a competition to present the most attractive offer for them. The reason why exchanges and every other companies for that matter would treat their VIP customers/clients better is because they make more money on them and would want to keep them to themselves forever. These aspects of gaining are too enormous to start being mentioned now.

Some VIP customers/clients could profit the exchange 1000x what some other clients/customers would profit them. That means it's tantamount to having 1000 ordinary client in one VIP. And you think they would want to let them go? Nah! There would be some values and perks as extras to treat them better.

Well an exchange has many promos and benefits for users who really use the platform more often. Those VIP are probably incurring a lot of trading volume so it's not unusual to see that there are plenty of benefits into their stash. I guess big cex do have a lot of it like binance bitget and many more. I remember when I saw some colleague of mine with heavy volume bitget given them a package with lots of merch.

Why are you jealous of the VIP? Did you know that some people are not VIP or remain as VIP just because they prefer not to save their money on exchanges? So I do not see a good reason you should be jealous when some people have the privilege but decided not to have VIP status.

Exchanger VIP is not an easy thing. To get VIP, you have to have a record of doing a lot of trading volume. And to fulfill them, they charge a lot of fees and those who make it to the VIP level by trading like this are definitely very big traders and have a lot of potential. So of course the exchanger will give them some facilities because they are not like ordinary traders. This is the exchanger's business, so they will definitely use the strategy of keeping big whales here. And if the VIP does not get the benefits yet, then they will not be interested in trading there. So it is normal that those who can pass the VIP level on the exchange will get extra benefits.

Same in gambling platform as well, VIP is treated very different. And it's very obvious what VIP in context, they could have been trading in millions already that's why they got that kind of status. And with that, the perks of it, like you said, better fees and rebate.

So not everyone can enjoy that though, again, not unless you really spend a lot of money in exchange. However, majority of us are just average joe investor. But it doesn't mean that we can't trade or what. We just have to accept the fact that there are different levels.

Exchanges earns with volume. The competition among exchanges is huge and the profit they get is a small percentage of total trade which keeps increasing with more volume. The number of users isn't always proportional to the volume. So keep the large volume traders in the exchange, they sacrifice some of their percentage to gain on amount. VIP's even though pay less fees in Percentage, the large volume they trade bring more fees even when the percentage is small.
It's similar to every other VIP schemes from supermarkets, airlines or banks. The more business (volume not counts) you do, the better treatment you get.

Always have special service for VIP user all platform kinds not only at exchange market but also at casino gambling many offer receiving by VIP user at weekly or monthly. In exchange market based on what my friend service receiving at Bybit he got free fees trading in spot or future trading, if an launchpad or launchpool the VIP user get large coins allocated.
I think to reach VIP level position at exchange market depend how much transaction volume and must increasing every days if want get VIP position, get much benefit when trading huge amount without paying any trading fees and always priority by exchange if any event.

I don't think there is anything special been a VIP account. If you are a whale that trade most of the time and it involves large volume, I will you should consider but an average trader doesn't need that thing call VIP. It's just an illusion by exchange to make people feel important. If I'm going to be paying 0.5 dollar for opening or closing a trade of $10000, I don't think there is need to opt for the service, some exchange make you hold their coin for nothing, some can get dump on you.

Exchange like Binance make use of BNB as tier for this benefit which I can say their coin has been a good thing over the years. Any other exchanges are pure scam, I will not hold your coins and be dumping when there is nothing good on your exchange, tokens will be dumping and if possible you may not make money from trades most especially during the bear market. My advice, try and avoid them if possible, but if you are a whale, then give it a shot.

Everyone gave the same answer, and that is the correct answer. Volume is the money maker for them, if you make a trade, they make a profit, and each trade, with bigger size, means more money to them. So if you are a VIP customer, that means you spend a lot of money and bring in a lot of volume and you make them a lot more profit. That is why they are dealing with this and not really looking at it any differently.

I personally believe the best we can do right now is to make sure that we are dealing with a lot better return. Obviously it is not that crazy, but they get a bit more edge. They are treated better, but not by a much margin, don't think they are actually doing that much, it is still a small difference than us.

To me everything is right for VIPs, because they deserve it. But I am just wondering, why are you jealous? You aren't VIP because you don't deserve it. You know why? Because you are jealous. Exchanges earn a lot of fees from them, whereas you are paying only very small fees compared to a VIP trader. So definitely the exchange should give some extra privileges for VIP traders. I swear, if I move all the funds to any exchange and trade all of the funds, then I am pretty sure even some big exchange will give me VIP status. But as I told you, even I don't know which exchange requires what amount to become a VIP trader. Yeah but having a VIP doesn't mean it's a guarantee you'll have good trades over bad trades, having a VIP means you're more privilege to have more benefits than the actual default users got. Well, they got volume to add so it's just right they earn a VIP status and get those benefits. Only the whales will probably chase this status because it's beneficial in the long term.

Even in exchanges I think for you to actually use the benefit of a been a VIP you would actually be someone who regularly trades because most of the benefits are around that, there is no need for someone who doesn’t trades to be chasing that status in my opinion. Most of the benefits are usually on fees, higher leverages and all this trading special features or then be eligible to certain airdrops or rewards for new coins that the exchange would love to give.

Another one which I don’t think its actually applicable to VIP only is the one that you get a referral link and then when other traders actually uses this your link to trade there’s some rewards either through fees that comes back to you, this I think is something I have experienced in bybit, don’t know if other exchanges actually have that. Also VIP seriously means leaving off large funds on the exchange, for me I don’t think that’s any advantage because when things go bad you’re not treated any better except you get to ambassadorial role

In an exchange, mostly, your VIP level is determined by the level of KYC you have completed, because that increases your limits and everything. So, if someone completes basic KYC, only with an ID Card or something, they only get the initial perks, and access to everything that requires KYC, but if someone goes above and beyond and completes higher levels of KYC, they will have higher limits for deposits, withdrawals, and also higher trade limits, along with reduced trading fees. That's how VIP systems work in exchanges, as far as I know.

I don't know anything about the card OP is talking about, it's probably a specific exchange that has it, and maybe OP is trying to shill that exchange here, but I use multiple centralized exchanges, and I know that all of them will give you a VIP status based on the level of your KYC completion, and your trading fees and limits will depend on that.
