It could be anything, but they would still have to pay the winners even if they got hacked. Getting exploited is not going to free them of their legal responsibilities unless they can prove somehow the exploit effected the game in a way that would free them of those responsibilities....

But I doubt they are trying to cover up some lie. I think they just got hacked. And 100K is not going to make a difference as such businesses (casinos) make much much more money than that.

Well is like that always when hacks happens the customers suspects the platform, since they are not insiders and have no real understanding of what is happening behind the public.

It's become controversial with Toshibet's said exploits but don't know which one is true some people support some of these people calling it a lie.

Unfortunately, in this cryptocurrency casino market, every accusation needs proof for people to believe it. So they say they were hacked, but they need to prove it publicly because they can't report it to the police. Also, nowadays all clients go through KYC (Know Your Customer), so the person who committed this type of crime has their data exposed at the casino.

Therefore, it would be possible to locate them if the casino were to report them to the police. But the casino would first need to see if gambling is legal in the person's country or not, because if it's not legal, the case won't stand a chance. Therefore, the casino should pay the people who won while they deal with their own problems.

We would need to know if they had anything regarding a bug or exploit in their terms prior to this situation coming up. If they did, that should guide their actions, some casinos protect themselves by adding clauses to prevent losses if an exploit is discovered and used.

If there was no clause in their terms, and the player made no action to tamper with their software or hacked the system, they should get their winnings and the casino should fix what bug they have.

I have found and tried to exploit bugs on toshi.bet a lot before.
I've found probably 10 'infinite money' bugs here, but they never let a withdrawal over 1000$ through.
They go full FBI mode as soon as you try to withdraw an amount that isn't dust, no matter how suspicious or not suspicious your gameplay is.

There is almost a 0% chance, from experience, that they let 100k through, I'd even doubt 10k, especially on a fresh account.

Also, last time I checked, withdrawals are manual no matter the size.

Note, the reason I started just abusing the bugs is that I tried to report a critical bug once in toshi.bet and once in their 'crypto airdrop token' game counterpart.
I was ghosted both times after giving a writeup and was not rewarded even after they said I would be.

And why should we think about this? Without important info, we can think as much as we wish, and all that would be just wild guessing...

I'm sure there are people who are paid to think about this, and I hope they have all the relevant information to come up with some concrete conclusions... Will they inform us about their findings or not is yet to be seen.

I guess any casino can do this and try to avoid paying big winners... but they can't really avoid it, they can postpone it, but I am not sure if the casino management is aware that these things bring more harm than benefit in the long run. If you treat players (especially whales) in a bad manner, they will look for another place... even we small players will do the same.

I don't think it's an excuse, unless they plan on doing an exit scam, they never said every bet or win on their blackjack will be voided/gone because of this hack. they will eventually have to pay their gamblers, but if they decided not to, they will just ruin their reputation and they would most likely lose more money in revenue.

Things as this do happen and not only this casino has encountered such before. Maybe they should be given a benefit of doubt and see how it goes since they had come up publicly to make an official announcement with respect to the incidence they had claimed happened to their casino. Although such an amount is very big to have gone in such a manner without them detecting it very fast or possibly there is a loophole which has been recognised but I am curious as to know how those players called hackers according to the casino were able to detect it and were able to do their dirty job and were also able to withdraw such an amount without the casino detecting it very fast. Anyways let us wait for them to finish up with their investigations and also fix up their casino before resuming if truly they are sincere with their claims.

Except the big winner will step forward and pen down a formal complaint, we can not tell if the casinos claim is true or not..

But in a case where a player or players who had won and yet to get paid before the claimed exploitation come forward with complains, the casino will have to prove that indeed; their system was exploited and that the said amount of money was actually stolen.
And even at this, they will still have to pay up their players who won if they must maintain a good reputation, they can only ask for some times to raise back the money to pay the players they owe, else, there is every reason to believe that they exploited their self to avoid paying the player who won big their money.
Such (if true) should not be taken lightly else, they will still repeat same thing again in the future and on another player..

Such a hack is nothing new in the crypto casino industry. Something like this can happen with a casino if they are at an early stage. Sometimes exploiters find glitches in the game, and they abuse them to farm their balance. I think the community is aware of the Primedice hack, which occurred a long time ago, and Primedice lost millions of dollars due to that incident. You cannot actually say what is right and what is wrong at this point.

I'm not sure how old they are in the casino industry. But I hope they will write in more detail about the exploit once they release the fixed version of their game. I myself was able to place bets with a negative balance on Astrobet. Such bugs could be terrible for a casino.

You never know however it is the responsibility of game provider (or casino in question for house games) to come up with a detailed explanation. The amount is not big for a reputed casino and it could be worst, that's why I am inclined to believe that it might be a real exploit.
It takes a lot of time and money to build a successful casino brand and incidents like this only hamper the reputation so casinos usually avoid this type of public admission unless the amount is substantial.

This is the first time I am hearing this casino name here in the forum and outside forum. 100k is not a big money for a casino to run away with it, so I will not see it as a scam but an exploit. And such can Only happened from the game provider as others have said. Did the player contacted the support and what did they say? And I just made a brief research on their reviews online. CasinoGuru has no good information about the casino but trustpilot has a lot of information. Both bad and good. And in my observation. The good reports are more than the bad reviews.
