The use of cash payment has also reduced in my area before now we normally use Cash payments to pay for things we buy in the most of the areas. But nowadays, there are more use of digital payments than cash. The who thing is becoming reverse day after day. However, it's a good thing. Countries accepting crypto/stable coin. Although, there are few business people that haven't yet adopt the use of digital payments, but I believe with time they will begin to accept it. The reason why they haven't yet to accept it might be because they don't understand what crypto is all about or how to use it.

In my area, cashless policy is being practice partially in the sense that there is complete zero digital payment as regards the payment using digital coins like Bitcoin or others, so what's prevalent in my area is payment by debits card or transfer of funds and not digital coins and Cash too but I do hope with time digital payment will become the other of the day but currently many are not aware of digital payment system.

AFAIK, the reason the US passed a bill to ban the Fed from issuing CBDCs and only use private stablecoins is because they are concerned about excessive abuse of citizens' privacy.
The bill is officially called the Anti-CBDC State Surveillance Act.

Overall, both are centralized but stablecoins still give us a bit more privacy than CBDCs.
With CBDC, every transaction would be tracked by the central bank, even small ones. Meanwhile, stablecoins are issued by private organizations, although they can freeze assets or track us. But they won’t monitor us around the clock and track every single transaction like CBDC.

It can be said that stablecoins are still a bit more private than CBDCs, so I think the demand for them will still be higher.
Yes, that's true, the white house passed the anti-CBDC surveillance state act because CBDCs give the FED ability to suppress politically unpopular activities. Stablecoins definitely gives us more privacy, especially coins like DAI but regulated stablecoins like USDC aren't a big help in this case to my mind, despite the fact that the government needs a warrant to access someone's history, this is still very easily abusable.
By the way, my point was that if we have CBDCs, then we don't need stablecoins because it can't protect us in a world where CBDCs exist.

From Stable coins which can be frozen through smart contracts, FED and governments want to develop, launch and enforce their citizens to use CBDCs in order to do their jobs more easily but better.

Stable coins are risky and CBDCs are more dangerous.

It might come as a surprise but my country, which is a developing country, has a more advanced digital payments system than 99% of countries. Not only can you pay almost everything with card, you can't pay some services with cash and only cards are accepted. The only place you'll might struggle to pay with a card will be in undeveloped villages but you'll be able to withdraw money via ATM because our pensioners receive money on their card, which they later withdraw via ATM.
You can also pay with card in metro and bus while when I was in a few European cities, I couldn't pay with my card and had to buy tickets with cash, which left me shocked because I thought those cities were one of the best cities in the world, so I was expecting them to be technologically advanced.
Btw bureaucracy is also very good here compared to many countries in the world.

In Brazil, we would have had DREX (digital real), the digital version of our national currency, but the project was recently shut down because "operations fundamentally depend on data privacy and banking secrecy, which is not contemplated in blockchain technologies, which are essentially public," according to the project coordinator.

Even so, we have Pix, an instant transfer method without the use of blockchain, which has been the most used form of payment here. I also believe that digital payments will become increasingly used, and paper money will become scarcer.
