However, this doesn't mean that there isn't poor people that are successful but comparing them with those from rich background the gap is really much.

There is definitely a difference in opportunities between the rich and the poor, but that doesn't mean that a poor person can never be like the rich, maybe they have to work harder than a rich person, face more obstacles, face more failures, but at the end of the day they too will be able to reach a much bigger level. I have seen many people who have gone from zero to a much bigger level, who had no financial success from their inheritance, but they have risen through hard work. To be frank, the percentage reality is as high as 80/20. 80% to the rich families and 20% to the poor families.

That's maybe true, however, it doesn't mean people from poor families don't have a chance, like some communist propaganda makes it to appear. Even 20% is a big chance and it's worth trying, but in reality I think it depends on the country you live in. If you live in a totalitarian hereditary dictatorship like Turkmenistan and were born in a poor family, your chances are even smaller and I'd say they are close to 1%. So, it's like 99/1 in those countries. But in countries like Finland and Denmark it's almost like 50/50 and overall in all western countries I'd say it's more like 60/40 than 80/20.
