MrCryptHodl refusing to honor the loading of coins for which he received funding

this is quite simple - MrCryptHodl received funding from customers when they purchased coins - his policy was that the customer needs to confirm receipt of items and he would fund them at that point.
however, some people did not do this right away - many did not go to confirm until they were trying to resell the pieces.

The waiting part is their fault, they should not have waited.

However, another issue arises from this, MrCryptHodl did not simply hold the funds - he converted it to USDT - and is now offering to any affected customers the USDT equivalent of their funding (at the time they paid it not at the current price)

Funding should never be spent when received from a customer - customer funds should never be used to for personal gains. If they paid in BTC, they should be refunded in BTC not USDT.

To be clear - this does not affect anything I have bought from him - I always confirmed mine upon delivery.

It’s a pure bridge of contract. At least it was not added to his rules that if you don’t confirm the recipient of your item until a certain period of time, it will automatically be converted to a stable coin. With the current price of bitcoin, this is going to be a mess if none of the purchasers accepts such a deal.

And I believe this type of cases are best handled on the reputation board too, since it’s about the user’s reputation.

I am a user whom bought over 75 items and have the proof I reached out when items were received. He failed to follow his own procedure by loading after I verified I had the items In My possession.(he was notified the day the package was received) Should I have kept checking? Yes but he should have followed his own protocol and loaded them.

He refunded pennys on the dollar in usdt when he was paid in btc… let me know what proof you would like I would happily imgr the snaps to you or on this thread for people who actually doubt it…

If you (or any other victim) creates a Type 3 Flag ("This user violated a written contract with me, resulting in damages.") and posts evidence supporting the accusation, that will lead to a much more visible red warning banner above his topics.

It's not directly related to the case, but I wonder why people trade with a person who has a dozen negative tags that go back to the beginning of 2024? It is obvious that he is not a trustworthy person, except in the case of some people whom he treats differently than others.

Dates back to July, 2023. And the last comment I can see is from October that year, although it seems some comments were deleted. I am not directly related either but if that is the case what I am wondering is why the flag is created so late.

According to the OP in this thread and the reference links, people who did not get to confirm the receipt of their items did not get their coins funded as agreed and some of them did not even bother checking if they were funded or not until they decided it's due to sell off their Bitcoin that's supposed to be in those coins and notice it's empty, some of the report against the accused was raised since 2024, I believe many more reports of those who did not get their coin keeps coming and MrCryptHodl decided to offer to pay them in USDT base on what that coin was worth as of the time the deal was sealed.

It’s a lot of items, I bought about 70+ items from him directly to fund(a very small amount of those items actually did get funded) also granted some were non funded such as the DIY stuff) I did follow the loading procedure where you reach out to confirm coins were received and then he was to load, this was also done promptly, he neglected to load and I failed to verify at that time.i am a bit busy at the moment but I got receipts I’m going to share in a bit. Also if you ever dealt with the guy he takes his time to respond as he runs around country’s and has his parents help with this…

I can elaborate on my reason for reference,

My dealings with him are old dealings before the bad rap… I think that’s why this keeps resurfacing because people hold for a long time then when they go to sell they find all this out…I’m the orginal buyer of a lot of these items, I bought this stuff when I was new to crypto trying to learn about it all.he was a trusted member at that time and when I followed his protocol for loading I naïvely assumed it was done or would be done when the message was sent.

the list has been made many times - I will compile but last I checked its close to 100 items but these are items I hold for others who have the verification that they should be loaded.
