Addiction is a very powerful and dangerous thing and it should not take over someone because the result is very regretful and bad and sometimes people allow themselves to become victim of it by chasing after their loss which they knew for certain that getting the money lost in gambling is not always easy and simple unless you are fortunate enough. Not all gamblers are greedy people I disagree with that because I'm a gambler and I'm not greedy reason because I know what gambling is like and I think you are mistaken taking risk to been greedy.

The bad thing is that gamblers think that they can easily get back their lost money, their mentality of getting back money easily leads them to deeper losses. Those who have such expectations of making up for losses, very soon fall into more losses. I agree that many gamblers are greedy and that is why they cannot control themselves to gamble responsibly, when they win and are supposed to take it they will continue to gamble with it inorder to increase the win. From experience and research has proven that most times if you continue to gamble with your wins you will lose everything back to the casino. If you know this and continue to push your luck when you win it mean that you should accept what you will get in return which is mostly loses. Casinos are people's businesses which they get profit from your loses, if you know this you will know that winning is a gift, if it comes take it and only gamble with amount that you have prepared to spend.

Well, you are right, though this is not a general something, some gamblers often do know when they start to become greedy while gambling, but controlling their self is often the issue.

Like myself for example, when I gamble, especially if I am playing slot game, there is a stage I often reach or play to, I know I should quit that very moment and give myself rest, but something in just keep pushing me to keep going, at a stage like this, it usually will take a very high level of self control to stop.

When a gambler is struggling with greed, there’ll always be signs and evidences, the only way a gambler would claim not to be aware they’re being greedy is if they refuse to pay attention or deliberately ignore those signs, and those signs would definitely have negative effects on the gambler. For example, it’s impossible for a gambler who’s struggling with greed to ever walk out of the casino with a win, this is because they’re never satisfied with any amount. Even if they win thousands, they’ll always feel unsatisfied and would always see an opportunity to win more and more, and since it’s not guaranteed to always win, they’ll end up losing everything. That’s not a bad way to look at it. I know it’s often difficult for some gamblers to accept losses, especially when the losses have compiled, but when gamblers learn to accept losses, it’ll help them keep their emotions in check when faced with situations that may have ordinarily aroused their emotions and pushed them into making bad choices. Not to mention that this also helps gamblers stay within their limits and so enables the game remain in the thrill and entertainment zone and not shifting to a quest for victory. That Is their very big problem overconfident which ends up leading them to nothing because of their greed , withdrawing from their wins or  quiting will not make them loser and they have also failed to realize that winning does not come daily but ones a while, it is better to quit and continue gambling tomorrow than losing all you have at a stretch because you want to win by all means is a very wrong idea that a gambler should acquit himself with, he just have to gamble responsibly so that he will be stable in mind.

Confidence is okay, but too much is going to make your life uneasy. I hear a lot of gamblers complaining about their losses, but I'm wondering why they still have them when they know the possibility of losing. I don't get why they keep blaming the casino when, in fact, they are the ones who made the decision. I think most of us aren't learning yet despite several years of gambling. That just means that he doesnt know what he or she is doing since they are expecting to win most of the time, knowing that you are not going to win most of the time is important so that you could have a strategy and learn that there are times or moment that you just need to stop pushing it because it might not be a good time already if you already lose big tome. So if your going to go all in all the time because you just wanted to win and thinking that you are going to win all the time is I think is a wrong mindset because gambling is very risky I mean its not even a investment anymore because you are betting your money on something that is 90% you are probably going to lose, its almost like a guaranteed lose.

Knowing that you are not going to win every time is knowing how to control yourself, having that limit so that you can have a strategy and manage your wins and lose at the same time.

Steps to avoid those loses;
1- After winning do not place additional bet again.
2- Withdraw about 70-80 percent of your winning.
3- Distance the casino for like 3-4 days in order to having your right senses.
4- Look for a better business to invest your winning.

It is much better to have these limitations so that you are in control and you have a strategy in order to balance your winnings and manage your loss. The most important thing is you understand what you are doing, not just doing it because it's a trend, hype, or something where you see other people win a huge amount of money and you just want to win as well.
