​Recently  I decided to to do some research to know more about who is Satoshi Nakamoto but it all comes down to a dead end. Is it that he created Bitcoin as a digital gold and then he completely vanished for his own safety? Because based on my research  I believe that Satoshi might be a person or even a group.​And after the invention of Bitcoin in 2008 they indeed wrote the first software and then guided the project for a short period of time. But during that short period is it that he never revealed himself at all? So if he never revealed himself how did he vanish in 2010? Because ever since, he was never heard of on the internet ever again.​So my question is, why would someone who invented a multi billion dollar technology just vanish?

First did he vanish because he knew the danger to his life if the entire world really knew who he was, in the sense that he would become a target to both criminals and governments So then he chose anonymity for his own protection?

Seconds it that fact that he designed Bitcoin to be decentralized, which simply means no single person or bank can control it including himself? Because for Satoshi Nakamoto to design a digital gold like Bitcoin, it shows that he was already certain that Bitcoin could live on its own without a leader.

Just for your curiosity, he/she would have been the richest person not Elon musk. He would have at least kept millions of bitcoin for personal use and won't sell like Laszlo Hanyecz did with his 10,000 btc for two pizza.

He/she would have been the richest because he/she can manipulate the market freely more than what trump does to enrich his family.

Satoshi withdrew totally in 2011, probably around april when he wrote in his last mail to a fellow developer "I’ve moved on to other things. It’s in good hands with Gavin and everyone."

If Satoshi had not withdrawn, bitcoin may not have been as decentralized and successful as it is now since the community would revolve their actions around him or them.  He/They vanished in the interest of the project success knowing fully well that bitcoin was safe with his co developers as stated in the mail. It allowed bitcoin to be a community driven project which it was meant for.

The disappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto is a big gift for Bitcoin and Bitcoin community. In recent days, there was a drama of Kadena project when their founder and team announced to stop the project entirely. From that failed project, you can see that by leaving Bitcoin community, Satoshi Nakamoto did a great contribution for this project and community. Bitcoin has been continued well, and very strong without the founder.

Most likely suspects for Satoshi? Hal Finney's the sweetheart of the crowd, first guy to receive BTC, lived near a literal Satoshi Nakamoto, and wrote like the guy. He also had ALS, meaning he couldn't type later on, so unless he was telepathically coding Bitcoin, maybe not. Then there's Nick Szabo, the "Bit Gold" pioneer whose writing matches Satoshi's whitepaper like a fingerprint. Even Elon pointed at him and mumbled something about "probably." But Szabo denies it like someone caught with a half-eaten cookie. You shouldn't be disturbing yourself trying to find out Satoshi Nakamoto real identity because it won't add any Bitcoin to your wallet, what we should focus on is to invest in Bitcoin and thank God that Satoshi Nakamoto decided to be unknown Because from what I know the fact that he kept himself secret and unknown is one of the reasons why Bitcoin has grown to this point, just imagine satoshi nakamoto was known I believe the government would have captured him and that would have been the end of Bitcoin, now the reason why the government would have captured satoshi nakamoto is because they see Bitcoin as a threat to their currency and truly Bitcoin is a big threat to a lot of countries currency especially now that you can you Bitcoin to purchase a lot of things, Bitcoin is now valued than Fiat.

For safety, He knows making himself known to the world will attract different attacks and pressure towards him that could force him to do what he would never want to do on a good day.

Satoshi's disappearance from the space was actually a good thing that paid off well because if we had him here with us, I think by now he would have been summoned on different occasions on how the government should get custody of Bitcoin, and the blueprint of Bitcoin should be changed from the way it is(decentralized)

Maybe he disappeared because he was trying to prevent danger, or maybe he disappeared because he doesn't want to get in spot light and make sure all the attention goes to Bitcoin and not him, what ever was his reason only him or who ever is Satoshi can answer that.

His main aim was to give financial freedom to holders of Bitcoin, I don't think it was something done over night, he must have dreamt of a world where the government won't control the financial power of everyone. Maybe he was certain he just wanted to give those who are interested the right to be their own bank.

Making any attempt to unravel the true identity of satoshi is just like trying to unravel a mystery that knows no end and so, the end product of such quest will lead to utter failure because you're probing into something that's beyond your ability to descern

As far as we all know, satoshi existed at the time he was bringing about bitcoin afterwards, nothing about his personality was known any longer or mattered again as long as bitcoin continues to do well. The ghost like nature of satoshi that gives him an hidden identify joins to make it hard to truly identify who satoshi truly is but even at that, satoshi has brought bitcoin into light and bitcoin has come to revolutoonalize the financial system which is what matters most.

It is good he vanished because by now he would have been apprehended by the government, and only God knows what would have happened to him by now. Maybe the government would have wanted him to code it to be centralised, and that would have deviated from the real purpose for which it was created. It was a fast one from him to disappear, and that was the ultimate price he paid for the sustenance of Bitcoin.

I agree with this argument because in the end it is conceivable that when he is still active and still shows that Satoshi is still around then everyone will try to make some connections with him and will stay around Satoshi without thinking about decentralization and the sustainability of the project like now.

We can take an example for this forum alone where there will definitely be a lot of people who will try to get close to him if in the end he still keeps his account active until now.
So when he disappeared without a trace and no one knows where Satoshi is, for me it is still very good because we only need to respect the decision and continue as it should be without having to care about the identity behind Satoshi because letting Satoshi be a mystery is something that should happen.

Well to actually sum it all up, satoshi disappeared to keep the decentralization of Bitcoin as flawless as possible. If satoshi was still very much known publicly then bitcoin wouldn't have gotten to its current price and adoption level because the government would have either found a way to centralize it by capturing satoshi or killing the network since they have a hold of the source.

The bitcoin network has actually partially forced the government to generate revenue to cover up the total circulation value so yeah they are not happy if it ain't fiat they can easily control.

Today the market cap of Bitcoin is at $2 trillion,  not even the billion you mentioned but that's not my concern, Satoshi created Bitcoin for the people, it was a project he did for humanity sake. That's also why he said he doesn't have time to convince anybody to  believe in Bitcoin because it's for our advantage and we can either believe it or leave it. Our speculation can not determine why Satoshi left, but did so for the good of what he invested.
