It was also posted on an indian forum, on the same day it was posted here. I am active in some airdrops, and each airdrop has its own qualifications and claiming rules.
You have to qualify before being added to the waitlist. This platform is misleading those who understand how an airdrop works, so they think twice before linking their wallet, but newbies will likely fall for it, and those who are too eager to claim.
This scheme is new and really a good catch.
This is absolutely right. You can't get a legitimate airdrop from a valuable (non-scam) token for paying something like $0.01. that's nonsense and a way to lure airdrop hunters and steal their wallets. Naturally, you should deal with legitimate and established platforms for airdrops.. No one should connect their wallet to any site or sign a transaction before verifying the site's legitimacy, it's a serious security risk. We advise all new members to avoid sites that promise free airdrops, free tokens, or quick/easy profits, as these are almost always obvious traps.
I will also be paying attention to newbies coming with links and offers on this forum. A post like his with fake offers than to scam should not be condone at all.
I have reported the post, I believe moderator will delete it. It is obvious not two things than to scam. He deserves the negative feedback and I have also gave him one.
Well done, and thank you for your cooperation.
Indeed, the scammer’s thread has been deleted. I have just checked it now.
