Hi guys, I want to introduce you to
Bitcoin Classic $XBT.
At the end of 2024, a group of enthusiasts gathered on Telegram with a clear mission: to recover the original spirit of Bitcoin. Today, we see big funds like Blackrock, Fidelity, and Strategy B trying to accumulate as much BTC as possible, while governments begin buying and regulating what used to be our last truly free asset.
In response, they decided to launch Bitcoin Classic starting from block 70,000 — exactly one day before Satoshi Nakamoto’s last post here on Bitcointalk, December 11, 2010 (
see post here).
That block was shifted to January 11, 2025, and could even be mined with CPU, just like in the early days. A true return to Bitcoin’s roots.
The past few months have been anything but easy. At times it felt like the project was abandoned, with exchanges threatening to delist us, blocks that simply refused to move, and constant criticism from outside voices. Yet through all of this, the developers and the community stood firm, dedicating their time and energy to keep the vision alive. Thanks to their persistence, Bitcoin Classic is now back on track, and today we even have the possibility to merged mine with BTC — a sign that the project has regained its strength and stability.

The original Satoshi-era blocks are live and accessible on Bitcoin Classic. If you were mining or holding BTC back then, your coins are still there — untouched and unmoved. Anyone with access to those early wallets can now move their Bitcoin on-chain through Bitcoin Classic ($XBT).
