For me the max I can go is the $5 minimum that you also mentioned you know the smaller the bet amount the easier it is to move on if the game did not go olin your favor, most of the times gamblers get carried to bet above their minimum limit and if the loses comes they find it hard to bear it most times since the will not want to go small on the bet any longer.

This is what it means to bet for fun, staking low and aiming for high profits is better than staking high on small odds and plus it takes out all the fun when you just focus only on making it a source of income which isn't really possible to achieve. It can be a huge loss in the long run, but I do agree with this recommendation. One hit will cover all the losses, and if you are really good at predicting the outcome of the games, then you might win two or three times in ten trie,s which means profits if you parlay have high multipliers.

I did this before, but it got messy because it was also addictive. I've tried making parlay bets in different sports that I have no knowledge about and just guessing the results even if I don't know who the players are. This I don't recommend.
Even if we are making a parlay and decreasing our chance to win or taking a higher risk, we must at least have a bit of knowledge about the sports we are betting for.

Why not use the $5 on a single bet and do a rollover? Bet with only 3 bets in a day.
This will be a faster way for you to get to a $1000 margin. Instead of betting $5 every day on parlays that have a higher risk involved. I'd rather take the chance with a $5 rollover, and when I lose, I can start over, rather than a parlay bet. Anyway, if it is for fun, i am cool with it.

Keeping it simple, only means to them that you're "not trying to take the risk involved to hit a better bag". To some extent, it's true because some opportunities will flip across and you'll be denied several chances to win big when you don't take these risk. At the same time, they're not that easy btw. I like that good mindset because every gambler has their plans to cover everything and achieve that as soon as possible. But it's not possible in most cases because that's the reality of gambling and we're going to set us some back. Hitting it little by little, no pressure at all and I think that's the best way for a gambler to achieve goals either big or small. But of course with the smaller goes, it's easier because there's no need to stretch that much in profits when we're trying to hit and the most important of them all is about enjoying it, win or lose.
