Everyone has a few regrets in their lives, because in the past, most people were a bit stubborn and didn't always listen to advice from those closest to us. So every time we've wasted in the past becomes a memory, even though we regret it when we remember it when we're not doing anything. I also wasted more time as a teenager, but that has taught me that time is also a very valuable asset for everyone, and as teenagers, we should make the most of it now to avoid regrets later.

One of the only regrets in my life id having to stay loyal following the conventional to make it and probably built an empire of yours. Go to school learn a discipline, master it and graduate in flying colours then get a good paying 5-9 job. It was all crap and I never knew it, I felt It was the only way to do things right if I must succeed in life, and as a result there were certain risks that could have changed my life after a few years but the traditional way of thinking made them all look like they weren't right because it wasn't the norm. Fortunately for me, it wasn't too late before I realised certain things and quickly made corrections. There times we might be following the norms and we never know it's a waste of time and you could actually deviate a bit you could just find the right landing.

In my entire life, I’ve never known any real way to make money except when you get it from your parents as a kid. Real people have to create money. And how do you create money? By generating value for someone else, solving problems, or working. That’s how it works. Other than that, the only way to get money is winning the lottery or getting it from your parents. Most people don’t want to work, they don’t want to create value in other people’s lives, they don’t want to solve problems. they just want everything to come easy. That’s impossible.

I'm not going to argue with OP, but there is something wrong about some of the money things he said. Money win good when it's show to you as a good money, the politicians that we follow steal money and are been consider as money and the money enter into circulation, it becomes usual money we all use for every day to day transaction. Does that mean you have to wait to make money, morally it's a great thing but you don't have to wait to make money, sometimes you can wait and never make any money.

All I can say here is there is no definite rule to make money because the world you see itself isn't fair, you can be up and be struggling with financial for years but another person that has the same qualifications as you will come and get you faster than you did. There may not be influence or any connection, it's just how the world works around the clock, it's not fair.

There is no instant when it comes to money and success. You have to work on it, endure it, and most importantly, you have to keep aiming for long term goal because long term profits always beat those quick and instant profits. Sadly, some chose to be greedy and settle for instant means, the reason why they get easily scammed and lose even their hard-earned money.

I don't really know why I'm to create this post but I think we all should know this because it looks like the majority of the people around us today are always after quick money schemes. What I really mean is that people are no longer patient to work, invest or improve in themselves anymore, they always want to make quick money but not follow due process to make the legit money.

I just read that the majority of people who get arrested these few days is as a result of inpatient, greed and some unnecessary pressures they get.

For example, majority of the people around us no longer read terms and conditions, people always want easy ways to make money without a second thought.
Because people want to make easy money they get scammed. Another thing is that because people want to make quick money they end up in a situation whereby they don't find the solution easily.

So my advice to everyone today is that good things don't pay easily.
Be patient and consistent on whatever you do, then believe that there is time for everything.

I have seen a lot of posts here about how this generation looking for a quick way to earn a living. But it's good you're shedding more light on it. Taking a longer time to learn something and gaining good experience is better than rushing into it and ending up regretting it. Many youths don't see the importance of learning again, they just want quick money, which leads them to illegal activities or getting scammed due to lack of knowledge.

Honestly, you're absolutely right, because social media has really made so many believe that money can be made fast without following the due process. Once people see advert online about an investment, like invest little and earn big amount of money they run into it without knowing the consequences. The truth is, money that comes easy don't last long. It all requires patience and consistency if not you will lose your money. Life you see is not a bed of roses it's reward who is deligent so don't be deceived by what you see online just focus and work hard,because time and hardwork also results to success.

That is a mistake that many greed people are falling to. An investment that can earn them so much money makes without doing anything, that falls in the category of being gullible.

We know this and we don't want to happen this to anybody when we've experienced that. But anyone who's greedy and doesn't have any discipline at all and want things to happen fast, they're the ones likely to fall for the scheme.

I do not simply see impatience when I look around. I see exhaustion. I can witness individuals struggling to operate in an economy where wages remain flat, bills run high and the so called due process would hardly save a life. Advice on being patient is received in different ways when people are left to witness their parents fight, friends burn out, and all the normal ways are seen as traps

I do not mean that shortcuts are a good idea (they rarely are) but I believe that we must be truthful concerning the reasons people make shortcuts. It is the desperation derived out of seeing that promised stability is not forthcoming. Impatience is the coping mechanism when patience fails to deliver results

And no, people do not read terms and conditions. I do it too. That is one of the byproducts of the world where everything has to be paid attention to and offers very little of clarity. We have created mechanisms in which only a legal degree is required to read the fine print. We then disgrace people when they miss it

OP your thread is a good one and nothing good come easily, so the earlier People understand it will be better for them, because a lot person's who were so desperate to make money quickly by all means got themselves scammed through puzzle scheme, invest today and make profit within 48 hours, and this urge to make quickly money had also made a lot of person's to engage in illigal activities that have landed them in jail today and they are now regretting bitterly why they where not patient enough and make their money in a legit way, but that's by, my own opinion here is that only patient, committed and consistency can make you get to where you are going and achieve the riches you want in this life, because success doesn't come over night, it comes with time.

It's an undeniable fact: it's so easy to spend time immersed in social media instead of doing more effective things. We can spend more than two hours on social media, but I doubt we could spend the same amount of time studying. Even when studying or doing more positive things, we'll occasionally pick up our phones and check social media, taking a few minutes.

Regrets will always be there, and the biggest regret is how we didn't make the most of our time, thus missing out on so many good things. Nothing can change that, so what we can do in the future is maximize our time for studying, improving our finances, and so on. Time can be a killer.

As I wrote before, I was one of those people who constantly spent time on social media. I wasted a huge amount of time that I can never get back. Is this disappointing? Of course. It's hard to argue with that. I still regret it. But what can you do when you have no life experience to dissuade me from it and steer me in the right direction? Now I don't even approach it that way. I try to educate myself, to learn something new that will eventually bear fruit.

The pursuit of life success are dependant to individual bases, the saying good things is difficult to get , doesn't come early has become a norm in our society but all of this may be true and it may not be also, reason been that what you consider to be good thing and find it difficult to get early, another person may approach it will ease. Well, that is the normal human behavior that we've got. When we see others profit hugely and quickly from the trades that they have.
We think that it should also happen to us and that's why we desire to be like those but in the end, it doesn't come to us because of us not being prepared and we don't have an idea on how to do it.

What people need to realize is that everything that is too good to be true turns out to be a big scam, yet people are still blind to it that's why they often get scammed. And let's be realistic here, because of greed, people have become too lazy to work and just want instant in life.

This mentality is why some people lost once in a life time opportunity, because it is too easy, they forget that something is called luck and it doesn't happen because of too hard or too easy.

Is there still a "due process" to making legit money? Maybe when I was younger, there was a way to make money, but the world has changed. I totally understand where you're coming from, and I agree with you, but there is no longer a rule book for making money these days. Good things come early these days. These days, a 19-year-old can be making more money than his Dad, who has been working for over 15 years. The fact that it came early for the kid doesn't mean it's not a good thing; it just shows that the world has changed.

One thing remains constant, though, and that is putting in the work. You've got to work hard and smart to get to where you want. The Head of a department in a firm isn't necessarily the best at that job, but he may be the one with the best managerial or leadership skills and that makes him oversee people who may have been doing the job longer and better than him. Hence, why I said there is no longer a due process way anymore. People are thinking out of the box, so your "due process" way of thinking might be inferior or obsolete.

One thing we failed to understand is that some statements cannot be generalized.

It's sad to say that envy affects the majority, especially those who are struggling on their lives. While its not right to feel envy and aim also what others have been achieving, but its normal for us human beings also get what others are getting, and for that we turn into shortcuts just to achieve them instantly, but in reality there are no shortcuts to the good things in life. It requires long term planning and preparation, and not everyone is patient to work on it, the reason why others have end up in failures and regrets instead.
