~snip~
They asked the same question 10 years ago, and 5 years ago, and they will probably ask it 10 years in the future as well. Those of you who are looking for some quick profit schemes should definitely avoid Bitcoin, because you certainly cannot expect x10 profit in one year. Maybe you should ask AI to invent some new super AI Bitcoin with a max supply of 100 billion coins Roll Eyes
I completely agree with the first part. And as for the second sentence, it's not even necessary. You already have a bunch of shitcoins or AI stocks that you can bet on to see if they'll give you that quick 10x return. The thing about those kinds of investments is that if they can give you a quick 10x return, they can also give you a /10 return just as quickly, if not faster.

I definitely agree with that, there are many ways for someone to try to earn x10 on their investment in a very short period of time, but also for that invested money to be quickly lost. Bitcoin does not look promising in this regard at the moment, but for those who are patient, it will probably be profitable in the future.

I have the impression that many people still don't believe in Bitcoin to the point of investing for a period of 3-5 years, but sell as soon as the price starts to go down, as is the case now.

Ten years ago, the idea of bitcoin going up 100–200x didn’t seem realistic, but it actually happened.
Today, bitcoin has become an important part of the global economy. Even if you catch a dip and buy at the bottom, its maximum potential is more or less clear now.
Investing in Bitcoin is still valuable, but the dreams of getting rich like before are gone.

Op, you were not following up the crypto news locally and internationally. Your content from my understanding it is the opposite of what you said. You said Bitcoin is not trending like it was in the year 2022, but I am telling you that it is more that that year and coming to the price as you said, it is not rising as it was expected, Bitcoin has hit All Time High in this year. And in this week, Bitcoin is coming down for investors to buy more to their storage again. So this another best time to purchase bitcoin again.

Bitcoin has turned pessimists into optimists, previously some people were doubtful and even quite a few of them considered Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme or a scam. Now that it has reached prices beyond what was ever predicted and become part of the global economy, some people are starting to get involved in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin prices will always fluctuate, but overall it is still very worthwhile or even not too late to invest in Bitcoin. Anyone can try it as long as they have knowledge about how to invest in Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin never promises profits, but the results are very real.

Nothing exciting? Yes, that's alts for you, as they always come and go with no trace and utility value to say.  However, Bitcoin has stayed a long time with a credible market record that is yet to be surpassed by any other cryptocurrency. This is why newbie investors are advised to look into Bitcoin because their long-term investment plan is guaranteed if they take the step in investing in Bitcoin.  Currently, the price has declined, and as usual, it is the right time to buy on the dip as a smart investor because buying now and holding for the long term would give you a good profit.

If you want to invest in hype and trends, then Bitcoin is no longer an option for you; go for altcoins or shit meme coins preferably. Bitcoin's price no longer reacts to some institutional investors' involvement in the market; you just have to invest and hold without thinking about fast profit. Growth will take place gradually as long as adoption keeps on growing.

No time you will find Bitcoin not worth investing in people's eyes. Any time of the day, Bitcoin is worth investing in.

Don't think that the recent decline of Bitcoin price, not reaching the expected price this year that the majority of us believe it will hit, would make us not invest in Bitcoin as always. Many of us are not investing in Bitcoin for the short term; we aim for the long term.

Bitcoin's price no longer reacts to some institutional investors' involvement in the market; you just have to invest and hold without thinking about fast profit. Growth will take place gradually as long as adoption keeps on growing.

People also need to understand that when an asset has a low value, it is easier for it to go up 10x or 20x from its initial value, because even a small flow of money into the asset will make it have a stronger base. However, as its value keeps going up, it starts to become difficult for it to gain value as quickly as before, and even bigger flows of money won't be able to do much, because it will already have a strong base, and to make a difference to that, the flow of money will need to keep getting bigger over time.

Now, that is exactly the case with Bitcoin. In the past, when it had a lower value, and a lower demand as well, its price started going up very fast when people started making investments in it, because the flow was high and the base wasn't yet that strong, but as time went by, its base became stronger, and it now had a better value, and then its value started getting slower in pace when going up, because more money was required to move it.

That's why, investing in it is still worth it, but people shouldn't expect the same level of returns as others used to get in the past now. Smiley

So it’s 2025 already… we’ve been through everything — halvings, ETFs, institutions buying, all that.

But I keep thinking, is Bitcoin still even worth it now?

BTC didn’t pump much these years tbh, AI stocks went crazy instead.

And there’s no new story in crypto anymore. 2022 had NFTs, metaverse and all that shiny stuff. Now… nothing exciting really. Cry

Is base on one choice the truth is that you are investing in bitcoin not some kind of shitcoins that will rug pull you . So you can start investing anytime and still make profits in bitcoin , boils down to how long you can hold ( in another word patient) .

Though the bear market is full with a lot of buying opportunity but you can’t actually time the market , and most time procrastinating won’t do you any good .

Investing in Bitcoin BTC in 2025 depends on your risk tolerance and long-term outlook. While Bitcoin remains a highly volatile asset, it could still be a valuable hedge against inflation and financial instability. Increasing institutional adoption, potential regulatory clarity, and the growth of decentralized finance (DeFi) could boost its long-term prospects. However, the crypto market is unpredictable, and Bitcoin’s future is uncertain, especially with the emergence of competing digital assets. It’s essential to do thorough research and only invest what you can afford to lose.

Ever since, bitcoin is really worth investing. But the only problem is, some are late in making a market entry because they feel hesitant at first, just like what you feel right now. But let's consider how big whales are hoarding bitcoin right now, it only means that bitcoin will be more valuable and expensive within the next couple of years. I'd say its just a matter of trust, if you don't have faith on bitcoin, why bother to invest?

Make up your mind OP. Invest now if you want to ride the bullish trend of bitcoin.

Op, you see, this is something we don't need to force ourselves or even convince ourselves into Bitcoin investment. Why didn't you ask or think like this as of last year or during the massive ATH? As we all know, the price of Bitcoin can fluctuate at any moment due to its volatility in nature, so we don't need to worry about when it is the best time to invest or not. However, investment in Bitcoin has nothing to do with time; that's why I will keep saying that any time is the best time for Bitcoin investment, even right now. But some people lack the main concept or the knowledge of Bitcoin investment, and that's why some are still doubting when to invest. Just have the knowledge of the tasks in investment, invest what you can afford to lose, and stop procrastination.

You can still get rich but you should also start buying a significant amount of bitcoin and hold for long. The longer you hold your bitcoin, the higher the returns you will reap. But if your goal is to get rich quick with bitcoin, that will never be possible. Just forget that idea and accept the fact that bitcoin is really intended for long term investing and hodling. If you can't do that due to high volatility, then do not dare to enter the market.

Bitcoin will always be a valuable investment, but it also depends on our individual experience investing in bitcoin as not all who invest end up profitable.

Anyone investing in Bitcoin now is doing it for the future and there is nothing wrong with that because investment is supposed to be for for a long term and buying this year 2025 requires patience to hold on to years to come. There is no need for anyone who can not be patient to hold Bitcoin for a long term and not just having trust on Bitcoin the trust must be the one that will come long term plans, some people can have trust Bitcoin but for just a short period of time and this may not work perfectly well with Bitcoin that has proven to be the best in a long term not in a short term.

There will always be new stories, or new narratives in crypto, and I don't think all of them have been fully realized. For example, I think the RWA token has never seen such a huge amount of hype. By the way, I feel that the global financial situation is still improving, so I suspect that contributes to the lack of new narratives you might be feeling right now. Believe it or not, I am sure there will be an interesting new story in crypto next year, which means there will be a significant movement of money in the crypto market, and perhaps even more investors will enter crypto, especially in Bitcoin.

So it’s 2025 already… we’ve been through everything — halvings, ETFs, institutions buying, all that.

But I keep thinking, is Bitcoin still even worth it now?
Bitcoin will always be worth it in the long term, and the main reason is its scarcity, and the constant interest of investors in Bitcoin. So, let me ask you one thing, have many large investors sold their Bitcoin holdings so far? I don't think so, most of them are still holding Bitcoin, whether they are companies, countries or institutions. Perhaps, Bhutan county sold some Bitcoin some time ago, but that was only a part, and I am sure they are still very fortunate to hold Bitcoin to this day.

We all miss those events/news and the dramas that are attached to them. But this doesn't mean Bitcoin is not worth it anymore. One should just be smart now. Buying the dip is key.

Bitcoin did pump this year, but the issue is that people expected more from it. A pump of about $35K is not so bad IMO. The price is high already, and so is the market cap. So, you can't expect it to be moving is a huge multiples like before. Use the liquidity it attracted to judge it.

That's true, and it's making the whole crypto space boring these days. But you never can tell in the next few months, anything new might surface. Trump could drop a new headline. Smiley However, one do not know if it will be a pleasant news/event or not.

If you are always excited about Bitcoin price increase, then you are still in a weak stage of investment or you want to be involved in short term trading. Those who are involved in long term planned investments in Bitcoin consider the price drop as one of the opportunities to buy Bitcoin at a time. Patience investors accumulate Bitcoin with their remaining available funds to take advantage of the price drop. Many investors wait for bearish periods month after month just to enjoy a lump sum buying event.

Analyze the structure of Bitcoin and consider objectively that it is still known worldwide as an asset that is called a store of value. To get the exciting situation of Bitcoin you need to focus on long term investment.

Isn't it too late to be asking this question? I mean I get it that people would want to get their bearings right when it comes to the right coin in which to invest in but TBH, we've gone past that "is Bitcoin the right one" question. For crying out loud this is 2025 and for us to still talk about Bitcoin in this year, it means that it has beat all odds. Also if it's because it has experienced some downfalls that's why people are sceptical, then they don't need to bother trying in the first place because volatility is the middle name of Bitcoin so why not just either join the train or be left on the fence wondering about what would have been if you had just taken the risk and begun your journey?

To me, it's a very simple straight answer for him.

If 10 years back, Nov 2015, Bitcoin was around $300-$400, and ten years down, Nov 16th, 2025. Bitcoin is around $95,000, then a wise man know what to do as regards this question.

We keep accumulating regardless of the decline, if you are an investor, let's keep on with this, but if you fear and doubt, then fuck off the market and purchase.

Correct. Moreover he asked in this forum, where most people continue to invest in Bitcoin regardless of price fluctuations because their goals are long-term.

The OP also doesn't realize that Bitcoin has experienced a significant increase in the past two years. I mean, with a mindset like the OP's, he would have missed the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin. The current decline has made him doubt Bitcoin. In my opinion, Bitcoin is worth investing in every day because it is a valuable asset for the long term.

Is this a question that needed to be asked for someone who knows what Bitcoin is and how it has grow since it was created? I think No, this question is only for people who don’t have Bitcoin in mind to invest in.

I believe many people who missed early Bitcoin adoption has been asking this question in the past, and if you can ask any of them, they would have regretted their actions and have invested in Bitcoin and maybe are in profit already.

To invest in Bitcoin is your choice, but if you know what Bitcoin is, you will not ask this question, you will I read be looking for ways to buy Bitcoin now that the price is bearish below $100k.
