I went all in on BTC, and I don't know if that was the right thing to do. I'm very nervous right now and terrified of getting liquidated.

I wouldn't click on the links like that in the first post, but if you did go into BTC, why you did it with leverage if you are that scared?

The link is because I don't know how to upload images. Do you know how to upload images? I want to invest in Bitcoin, but I don't have much money. I want to accumulate funds this way. I don't know if this is a mistake! Or is there a better way? Cry

Since you're a new member, you won't be able to upload visible images right away, and any images you upload will only appear as links.
You'll need to reach a higher rank, such as Jr. Member, or purchase a Copper membership, to activate this feature. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

Welcome to this forum, and there's nothing wrong with your decision to fully invest in Bitcoin. However, you should also have a basic understanding of Bitcoin and use money you can afford to lose to buy it, as Bitcoin's volatile nature can potentially cause you to panic. However, if your goal is long-term, there's no need to worry; as long as you're patient and have complete confidence in Bitcoin, you will profit in the long run. Never become complacent with your holdings, as you can accumulate when you have more money and increase your holdings to generate substantial long-term profits.

You are welcome.
And if I were you - don't use leverage to get more BTC.. It puts too many risks in place. But you do you in the end Cool

I'll be blunt: you've been acting like an idiot.

You're not investing in Bitcoin, you're playing roulette with everything you have. Plus, you're trading on margin? You're a prime example of what not to do. I hope that when you crash and burn and lose everything, at least you'll learn something.

BTC is a very volatile token, you don't just jump in without a full understanding of the token movement

I understand that you are a new member of the forum, and in such cases it is sometimes better to say what you think, even if you are wrong, in order to gain practice in debating.

Therefore, I am going to inform you in a friendly manner that Bitcoin is not a token, it is a cryptocurrency, or rather, “the” cryptocurrency par excellence because it has properties that make it unique compared to the rest of the garbage.

A token is usually built on top of a blockchain, like you can find USDT on ETH blockchain, Bitcoin runs on the Bitcoin blockchain, not on top of it.

On the other hand, the “movement” of tokens or cryptocurrencies only interests those who play roulette like the OP. What makes the most sense with Bitcoin is long-term investment.

Bitcion is not a token, I'm not surprised most of the people on this thread knows nothing about bitcoin and how to invest in it. You should try and study what it is to avoid confusing bitcoin with tokens.

I went all in on BTC, and I don't know if that was the right thing to do. I'm very nervous right now and terrified of getting liquidated.
BTC

That's a careless move, it's not how to invest in bitcoin because you will end up losing too much. The market is a bit volatile this period so you must be careful when trying to invest using bigger leverage

That right let not rush things and go into the bitcoin market or crypto currency market without preparation or going in fully like the OP said because no matter what there will always be set backs and only those who accept loss will be able to stay calm without panicking.
It is always advisable by many users in the forum most especially the top rank members  that we should not invest what we can not afford to loss because there will be a chance of losing everything in the market no one can tell but if we invest little that we can afford to lose then we would not get to regrets our mistakes so let not fall for publicity and hypes by other let make research so we would not grief over our own actions.

I agree with this, even on BTC, with high enough leverage, one good spike and your funds are gone..It's better to just do it without the additional funds that are not yours, even if the return will not be as big.

It could be a good plan because a death cross is about to take place and most of the time the price of Bitcoin goes up after, mind you a new ATH is not promised looking at my own indicator.

It seems that Bitcoin already topped, this is just my own opinion and the beginning of the end might already be in play. It is for your own good to Take profit along the way unless you have a long term plan to hold.

The mistake you can make is not taking profits like many people do, from here on it is likely to get ugly until it gets better again, male sure you will be fine for many months to come without the needs to spend the Bitcoin you are holding.

BTC
When you said you went all in bitcoin, I wanted to say you did well, but immediately i noticed that you talked about being liquidated I went to check the image which you uploaded, then I noticed that you involved yourself in future trading.

You are a newbie, from your post it’s obvious you don’t really have much knowledge about trading yet, why will you involve yourself in future trading, you should have just invested in bitcoin, just buy and hold, and if you want to trade, then you should have just make use of spot trading, at least if bitcoin price drops if you don’t sell, with time it’s going to bounce back and you will be able sell, but when it comes to future trading, if the trade goes against you, it’s going to get to a price which you will be liquidated, and you going to lose everything.

I think it’s very risky to put all your money into a single investment, even if it’s bitcoin, especially if it involves credit funds. I think right now is not the best time for such risks, as the situation is quite uncertain and the price could start to drop. I also hope that the price will continue to rise since I didn’t lock in profits at the peak, but in my case, I wouldn’t face any serious financial problems if bitcoin starts falling and enters a bear cycle.

I think it’s good to have a basic knowledge, and understanding about Bitcoin, before you decide to go all in, and you should also consider the volatile nature of Bitcoin before you make mistake while trying to go all in, you can try starting little by little and see how things unfold and develop while you’re still in your accumulation stages, and you don’t have to invest all your money into bitcoin, I think that process would be very risky, and you’re expected to invest only your discretionary income after taking care of all basic expenses.

Bitcoin could be a very high yield investment but it could also turn a great loss. It is important to always consider "What if" in order to make sure your risks are manageable!
