What is the benifit of a copper membership to higher rank member

I recently thought about buying a copper membership on forum. But when I searched about it, I didn't find any specials benifit towards any forum member ranks above Member. Theymos did not intruduced anything like this. Shouldn't we get a bit any benifits we purchase this membership. Atleast a speacial badge for buying copper membership.

Also is there any tracking topic or statistics to see how much membership has been recorded till now.

Buying a corper membership enables you to post pictures as a newbie of which only from Jnr. Member can post pictures. So it's an advantage to casinos that want to promote their business here. However, it's written on your profile to show that you bought a corper membership, what else do you want. Peope that donated to the forum should have benefit and not for buying corper membership.

The special badge you are requesting is the copper member title that never leaves your profile regardless of rank and status on the forum. The main reason for the copper membership is to allow new services to be able to post images. Some of them cannot wait to meet the requirements to be able to post images.

Newbies initially were allowed to post images but it caused a lot of spams which was the reason for the rank restriction.

There no need for you to purchase the cooper membership. No special advantage or any special badge just a title of being a copper member.

I guess the system was created to serve a certain group of individuals, most especially new services that needs to promote their brands but can't do it with a newbie account.

For non brand or non service offering accounts, I don't really see any use of getting the cooper membership, just be patient and rank up like every other members. Except you really want to.

One of the differences and privileges you get for having a custom copper membership is automatic approval, which could also be achieved if you contact the forum for such. Theymos made provision for that.

Of course there is no specialty people who bought cooper membership but they probably bought it for a sole purpose which is the core reason of the cooper membership existence but in my opinion, I usually do not see someone who bought cooper member as same as someone who just got to the forum and ranked up, I have a special sentiment for those with copper membership, I feel like they are really not as regular people they have either business or special reason for being here and not just the everyday guy.

How about this explanation below by the same administrator which was made just a month after the post you shared, and it explains the limited difference between whitelisted members (which is also applicable to copper members) and ordinary members. The op is at 120 PM per hour for both approved and none white-listed, but the difference comes in the amount to be able to send per day, which there is a clear difference.

You are automatically whitelisted if you buy a copper membership. You don't need to wear the copper membership, just own it. You can also be whitelisted for free by any staff member and a few non-staff, but we're going to need some reason to think that you actually deserve it. Do not ask me for free whitelisting.

Despite knowing this I raised this question. Time passed, lot's of thing has been intruduced to forum. User's on this forum has been significantly raised , my question was not  why there is no benifit for copper membership but don't a user deserves any benifit towards it or a special badge. That rule was made clear on 2017, community have grown. So the demand should be made , it could be constructive or nothing.

But Ig I deserve the rights to ask it. Hearing the community is also another concern for this.

I had seen that table, but to be honest, I had forgotten it.

It's true that the 24 hour limit on PMs will decrease for OP if they buy a copper membership, but the change shouldn't be significant. OP's activity is now 462 (which is very close to 500). I don't know the formula for maximum PMs per day, but I assume it should be very close to 1200 for OP now.
Note that it's not that the limit increases from 300 to 1200 once someone reaches 500 activity. The numbers you see on that table are just some examples.

I just dont see the point of it, and Im not a fan of the idea.  Wouldnt it be cooler if you had to actually "earn" a custom title?

A custom title should mean something, like you have added valuable content to the community, or earned some respect.  It shows you have actually built a reputation.  If people can just buy a title, it doesnt mean anything anymore.  I mean, what would be the point if everyone had one?  Except, you know, for the people who cant afford it.

Don't buy it if you don't need it. Coppermembership is usually recommended for newbie accounts, which usually have restrictions on them, which is what I think Theymos intended it for. if your account is already a member rank and above, there is really no point in buying a coppermembership, unless you want the title that comes with it.

The only “badge” you get is that your position/rank get replaced with Copper Member when you decide to wear the membership

Not easy to determine. For example, in my account settings I could decide to wear Copper Membership or not. If I did the latter, there is no way most people would know that I have a copper membership unless if they saw it on my account at one point.

I don't think it's necessary, since this forum is a forum for discussion, not like X/Twitter which is run by capitalists who will suck your money just to get badges and more benefits than other users.

The benefits of purchasing a copper membership are only intended for newbies, and I think that's enough. I don't think there's any need to add anything more than what's necessary, unless it's truly needed by everyone.

For lower member ranks, the Copper membership brings more extra benefits but with higher member ranks like Hero or Legendary rank, it has almost no benefit, and if you consider to buy it, you must see it as your minor support to the forum.

theymos stated it in his post too. Forum no longer need extra monetary donation so the Copper membership was enforced to give people extra benefits for their accounts on the forum if they want to buy it.

Maybe someday, but the forum doesn't really need extra income right now, and if I was going to do that I'd want the membership to have several real extra benefits.

imo, someone who invests $30 in an account won’t spam the forum afterwards (or very rare).
