No need to freak out, we’ve seen dips like this so many times already.
To lighten the mood a bit, let’s do something different...

If you want, drop a short poem or rhyme about this Bitcoin dip. Anything that is funny, sarcastic, inspirational, whatever mood you’re in.

Who’s got one?
From the dip in the year 2022, this one is not even a dip for many people. Bitcoin was $46k in 2021 and early part of 2022 from articles but from the second quarter of 2022, the bear market started and in the third quarter of the same year, the market hit $15k and stable at $16kk for a very long time and in the month of November, Bitcoin started to rise and 2024 the rise continue and February and match in 2024, the price was on the highest peak. So if bitcoin is on the dip in the Month of November then, next year will be on the dip dip.
This is not a poem mate, you are just explaining haha. But nevertheless I it is true that we have experience such dip Before, but am not sure if we could see that again($15k) even though Bitcoin is unpredictable. You proclaim that Bitcoin will be dip dip next year, udder Which circumstance if I may ask? I know we have been on bull for long now and many are expecting to see the bear, and people are beginning to see reason to it as Bitcoin has been staggering for sometime now. Yeah Bitcoin will dip but don't expect it to dip down to $15k because that will surely not happen. The best thing to do  now is to buy and get hold of some Bitcoin stash to your wallet

Poem
Bitcoin is like a roller coaster ride where you see yourself low and high the next minute.  what you buy now without procrastination during downtimes determine what you get during up time.Grin

I can't write a poem about the decline in BTC prices. But with the current decline in BTC prices, this is certainly not unusual, but rather something to be happy about because we can continue to buy BTC since the current price is very cheap and, of course, we may not get such a low price in the future. Yes, we don't need to panic because this is a normal cycle that BTC always experiences. And of course, we don't know when the bear market will arrive because at this point, we can't conclude whether this is the beginning of a bear market or not, as the bull market may not be over yet, given that there are still many people buying BTC. If the bull market is not yet over, then this is definitely the right moment to accumulate BTC. Panicking when the BTC price drops is normal as long as can hold onto  BTC for the long term, but what is very unfortunate is when people panic and sell their BTC even though they are incurring losses.
The price of Bitcoin will go any direction and it is not in our power to direct the price where it is meant to go. Price will always go any direction and that should make us understand that it is not easy for us to just stay there and be watch the worth of our investments to increase. Bitcoin is still struggling to go up and all we have to do is to observe the market and take our eyes off the market. This way we can feel better and not take decisions that will affects our investments. No panic for now and investment should be left to grow till it has reach an extent where we go proudly take profit and invest in other businesses while we still holds.

The price of Bitcoin will go any direction and it is not in our power to direct the price where it is meant to go.

That is not true.

Bitcoin is not going to go in any direction.

Even if bitcoin's price is not guaranteed, and even if there are times that bitcoin's price is going to go down some extreme path that was beyond expectations, at the same time, many of us have ideas about where it is more likely to go.. which is part of the rationale for investing into it.

Price will always go any direction and that should make us understand that it is not easy for us to just stay there and be watch the worth of our investments to increase.

You sound lost.

Sure, if you believe that bitcoin's price is merely a guess, then you have no fucking clue about what you are holding, which likely contributes towards your selling way too much too soon.

Sorry for your loss.

You had one of the best (if not the best) of opportunities in front of you, and you fuck around with proclamations about bitcoin as if it were a mystery..,, .. Sure, bitcoin is a wonder.. but it is not a mystery.. .especially after it has already been in existence for nearly 17 years.

Bitcoin is still struggling to go up

You think so?  You think that there is a struggle? Hopefully you have spent your time making sure that you have enough during these "struggling" times.

and all we have to do is to observe the market and take our eyes off the market. This way we can feel better and not take decisions that will affects our investments.

You would not know an investment if it slapped you in the face.

No panic for now and investment should be left to grow till it has reach an extent where we go proudly take profit and invest in other businesses while we still holds.

Yes... Sell your "investment," since you have it all figured out.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

When the money does not have any effect on your daily life, you are more likely to remain nonchalant about Bitcoin. When the price goes down it is natural and will not pull you down provided that you have the basic needs. The reason why thinking long term is important is that short term fluctuations are irrelevant and you do not need to sell when the price declines. This is aimed at maintaining the horizon and letting the investment increase gradually with time.

I have read your post several times yet I don't understand and I don't really get the point you are trying to make and point of correction the reason why long term is important is not because of the fact that short term fluctuations is irrelevant rather the reason we should invest for long term.is because that is when you can actually see something reasonable and tangible in your investment that is if you really invest well. Short term is very risky because the directions of Bitcoin can not really be determined and so  :-*Investing for short that is gambling your Bitcoin investment is really insane because there is a high possibility you will panic and sell at loss

Which ever direction the price goes it's a plus for true investors. If prices don't plunge how will new investors get good entry points and if it doesn't rise how will the profits sink. So which ever way we are still winning. Taking our eyes off the market is the best decision except we are looking out for good price to take advantage of while we keep accumulating and anticipating for the long term returns.

If you have been able to handle bearish market conditions well, of course you are very experienced in this field because for some people who do not have much experience with bitcoin, of course this will feel nervous because they do not understand that they can sell their assets at a loss, but by taking the opportunity to collect bitcoin, of course it is very good to get profits in the future, but we also have to think about the funds that we will use, don't let it happen that before we have succeeded in making a profit, we have to sell it again at a loss, of course this is not desired, so it is very important to pay attention to the funds that we will use to take advantage of this opportunity.

Since you have been here since September 2017, then maybe you have already accumulated enough bitcoin since you have had more than 8 years to accumulate BTC, even though I can imagine scenarios in which guys are still accumulating bitcoin, even though they have had 2 whole cycles or more than that to accomplish such BTC accumulation.

I will repeat that it seems to me that if a guy has more than a whole cycle accumulating bitcoin, then he might switch his BTC accumulation strategy, yet even see guys who are ONLY in bitcoin for less than a whole cycle who are pausing in their bitcoin accumulation.  Perhaps expecting lower prices that may or may not happen.. which may be a BIGGER mistake for a newer person to be waiting for lower prices that might not happen.

So which ever way we are still winning. Taking our eyes off the market is the best decision except we are looking out for good price to take advantage of while we keep accumulating and anticipating for the long term returns.
New investors can enter at any price as long as they're willing to buy, without worrying about the current high or low price in the market. Meanwhile, investors who already own Bitcoin and continue to hold it can continue accumulating as long as it's not a concern for them. So, it's not just about where the price will move, but rather how confident and consistent we are in continuing to buy and invest in Bitcoin as usual. Because if new investors still prefer to wait for the price to fall before entering the market, it will waste more of their time.

It seems very wrong to me when newer investors starts timing the market instead of buying consistently regardless of
price. They seems to be still far behind in their accumulation because they haven't accumulated bitcoin up to two full cycles yet, pausing their accumulation and waiting for the price to Dip further  might likely not happen at their own timing. If they keep prolonging the wait because the desirable price hasn't dip enough, they might end up not wasting valuable time, missing out good buying opportunity, as they might likely ended up not accumulating tangible stashes during the long wait timing the market. Instead of waiting for the desirable dip that might likely not happen, newer investors should rather start accumulating bitcoin regularly through DCA to missing out on good buying opportunity.

It seems that many people are satisfied with the BTC they already have, and most of them always wait for the price of BTC to drop significantly before buying. However, even though the current price of BTC is relatively high, it will not drop further or reach its lowest point in the past because the number of people adopting BTC is certainly increasing. so ultimately, it will be difficult for the price of BTC to fall very low. There will definitely be a decline, but only a slight one, and of course that is normal because the price of BTC will rise even higher later.

Yes, it is true that if are new to investing in BTC, it would be a big mistake to wait for BTC to fall to a low price, for example below $20k, before buying it. Sometimes I also find it strange that there are still people who stop buying BTC because they feel they have enough, when in fact, if we are still new to buying BTC, it would be better not to feel satisfied because the current price of BTC can be considered cheap compared to the price of BTC in the future.

Actually, although I don't have any funny poems written about this bear market and I don't know anything about it, I can overcome the bear market without any worries and have started to overcome it with a smile. We have seen Bitcoin from its highest height of $126k to $80k and I have still been able to hold and still start to deposit some Bitcoin. If I had been nervous about this dumping market, then maybe I would have regretted it a lot and I would not have been able to hold myself strong, but if I had had a lot of money to invest, I would have used this opportunity. I don't know if this opportunity will ever arise again.
It is not really advisable to sell your Bitcoin at any time when the price of Bitcoin is low and can make you incur loses from any sells that is below the buying points. We can make profits from holding Bitcoin if we can buy and hold for a long period of time so that the investment can grow and mature before ever thinking of selling. The mistake some people do make is to buy and quickly selling waiting for the price of Bitcoin to fall, and if the price doesn't fall and continue to go up, it usually becomes a big blow and problem to them.

My ways of assessing this has changed over the years, and frequently I find it difficult to figure out some kinds of a standard that might be reasonable.

Another thing is that even if we look at the whole last 3-ish years, the BTC price has mostly been going up the whole time, so it becomes difficult to figure out circumstances that any guys might have come to the conclusion that they bought enough or more than enough when they are largely buying their coins on the way up, unless they were able to front load their investment in 2022 or 2023, then it might make sense if they largely were able to buy most if not all of their bitcoin at an average that is mostly less than $30k and perhaps they were able to accumulate close to or more than a whole years of their income (expenses) at those sub $30-k prices.

Another possibility could be a guy that started in 2020 or even 2021, yet still bought mostly on the way down and also potentially was able to continue to buy in 2022, so he did not run out of money, yet he still might have had retained an average price per coin that might be in the $30k to $40k range.. and maybe even closer to $40k.. .... so some of those kinds of circumstances I could imagine a guy concluding that he had accumulated enough or more than enough, even if he had not quite reached fuck you status and/or overaccumulation status.. but if he had accumulated something like a year or two of his expenses, he might be tentatively concluding that he has enough and he will just let time play out to bring himself potentially to a place that he might be able to start to time based sustainable withdraw down the road, and maybe he could have also entered some kind of price based sustainable withdrawal based on his assessment of his own circumstances.

Maybe an example would be helpful? Let me go with a guy who gotten started in bitcoin in late 2020, and let's say that when he got started in bitcoin he is was his mid 40s, and he had been earning around $70k per year, so over the prior 20 years he had invested more than $120k into various non bitcoin investments and those investments were worth around $300k (his then investment portfolio).  He also had strong cashflow management systems and his back up funds and other random investments that also might be considered fairly liquid were around 7 months of his expenses (maybe they added up to $30k-ish).

And so when this guy started in bitcoin in about October 2020 BTC prices were around $12k, and he decided that he was going to take around 50% from his other investments so he was able to get $150k to be able to use to buy bitcoin, and so he was able to buy right around 12 BTC with his initial investment amount, and so then thereafter from October 2020, he set up a weekly buy amounts that tended to vary between $100 per week and $500 per week depending on how he was feeling (he varied his buy amounts).. so maybe in the next 3-ish years, he ended up investing an additional $100k and perhaps he accumulated about 4 bitcoin and he had purchases that were higher when BTC prices were below $30k and lower when BTC prices were above $30k.. and so in the end at around the end of 2023, he had invested a total of about $250k (which was more than 3 x his current income) and he had accumulated 16 BTC... so by the end of 2023, he was starting to come to the conclusion that he had enough bitcoin and/or more than enough bitcoin.

I am just trying to describe some circumstances in which a guy might have had concluded that he had accumulated enough bitcoin or more than enough bitcoin even though by the end of 2023, he had only been in bitcoin slightly more than 3 years.  Maybe the guy had a goal of being able to withdraw from his holdings at $100k per year, even though in late 2023, he might have had concluded that 16 BTC would only support around a $40k per year income, yet he still tentatively concluded that he had enough bitcoin to wait out a few years in the event that later he might want to start to withdraw at a rate of around $100k per year with the 16 BTC that he had accumulated.  His cost per BTC were right just under $16k per coin (mostly due to his initial starting out lump sum) which might be a bit unrealistic and even lucky for a guy to have had been able to accumulate so much.

So I am not suggesting it to be impossible to come to an assessment of overaccumulation status in less than 4 years, and a guy might not necessarily be ready to employ some sustainable withdrawal even though he might have had assessed that after a few years of investing into bitcoin in a fairly aggressive way, that he had largely invested enough into bitcoin based on his own financial and psychological circumstances and how much he was willing to continue to put into bitcoin.

Of course there could be other variations of this scenario, and even if the guy came to an assessment in late 2023, that he had enough bitcoin, he might have decided to continue to buy bitcoin, yet to just buy it at a lower rate, such as $100 per week.. Or maybe he would have had invested into other things during 2024 and 2025?  Guys are going to vary in regards to how they deal with matters... even though I am proclaiming that with the goals that my hypothetical guy has, he would not necessarily need to continue to accumulate bitcoin once he had reached his accumulation of 16 BTC and his having had invested $250k into bitcoin, since he would still be able to employ price based sustainable withdrawal even if he might not feel that his holdings are in a place to start time-based sustainable withdrawal.

Newbie gets false sense of control when they trying to time the market. Wasting your time in other to wait for the right pricing often lead to doing  nothing at all, because as they keep waiting the market keeps moving and confident slowly drops. Buying regularly with the use of DCA funds build strong commitment and keep you focus with  your plan.

Yes, indeed, even now, if I observe carefully, there are still many people who wait for the price of BTC to fall before buying it, and it looks like they are trading, when in fact if you want to invest in BTC for the long term, there is no need to wait for the price to fall because in the future, BTC will certainly have higher potential than it does now, so why bother waiting for the price of BTC to fall when we don't know how far it will fall? So, the right approach is to use the DCA technique because it suits both beginners and non-beginners. In my opinion, what beginner investors should focus on isn't the price of BTC but the dwindling supply of BTC. So now is the perfect time to rush to buy BTC because everyone already knows that BTC has been bought by several companies and famous people, so don't be late to buy BTC.

Its close to impossible for anyone to spot the right timing of market and waiting for dips means they provably missed lots of opportunities to accumulate Bitcoin. DCA is really the nicest approach towards volatile market since it removes their fear about short term volatile movement and they can build steady position for consistent accumulating Bitcoin.

Bitcoin fixed cap makes it became a unique asset that's why this is really good for long term investment. Taking short trades will expose them in huge risk and provably they cannot get any sustainability if they choose this option. Better to accumulate now since if they wait for Bitcoin to pump back again maybe they get scared and think about price is expensive. That's why DCA is good for this because it take those doubts and other things they feel that can bother them on their investment.

People that continue to postpone their investments because they are timing the market are more dumber than they think. the best time to start always is now. Confidence level may not be at its best when someone starts to invest at first, but this isn't a problem, they can still go on investing and the more exposed they get in Bitcoin, the more their level of confidence increases and with time they will be more convinced to increase their amount.

Interested with this guy tweet about we can't have single day Bitcoin without dump, yesterday bitcoin hit above $90k but without few hours later easily bitcoin dumping to lower price $86,800. Its not first time bitcoin pump and dump just needed short moment only since huge dumping bitcoin can't stable on higher price for long term, scalping for nowadays is great way than keep accumulate because we can get opportunity buy at dip price few hours later after bitcoin raising up.

However this guy tweet almost true I am Ethereum holding yesterday break out to $3,057 but without few hours later get dump back to $2910.
